Australi India fight for spot one is very interesting as India is going New Zealand and Australia going South Africa both tours are very interesting and good so we have to wait for this and No 1 team in Test Championship.

India is too far ahead and Australia needs a miracle to overtake them. As of now, India is on top with 360 points from 3 matches, while the Australians have only 216 points from the same number of matches (I am talking about the 2019–21 ICC World Test Championship). Things may change if New Zealand is able to inflict a few defeats on India next February.
5362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 18, 2019, 06:22:56 PM
Does anyone really think that the West Indies will be able to put up a fight in the third ODI? The Indians can lose to teams outside the Big 3 only if they are complacent. And this was the reason why they lost the first ODI. But now they are back to peak form and we can expect a similar result for the last match as well. The only thing that didn't went in India's favor was Virat Kohli's dismissal for 0. Perhaps he got bored after sitting in the pavilion till the 37th over.
5363  Economy / Economics / Re: Greeks face heavy fines if they don't spend 30% of their income electronically on: December 17, 2019, 03:26:49 PM
Let me see.
National tax, Municipal tax, Church tax, 27% tax on dividends, 25% VAT, (in Greece is 24%), tax on land on buildings...you would think the black market is also rampant here. Oh, forgot to add, 180% tax on cars? 180%!!!
Yet, everyone is saying how Denmark is such a nice country to live in.

If the government in Greece would spend the money the same way it would be a different story.

The tax rates would be much lower, if the European Union cuts down its wasteful spending. For countries such as Sweden, Germany.etc, the tax rates were really high even before the European Union was formed. Once they were admitted in to the EU, another layer of taxation was implemented on the residents living in these countries. But I guess the people are fine with this. Recently Merkel forced the EU to spend more than €100 billion on the Syrian refugees and the EU residents were very happy with this move.
5364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to zero? This guy is dreaming! on: December 17, 2019, 02:55:49 PM
I wonder what the Ethereum miners are doing. Mining is dying every day. The rapid decline of the Ethereum price affects everyone. The biggest community after Bitcoin is the Ethereum community. Prices may rise again. Ethereum won't go to zero.

Mining is down with all the cryptocurrencies and not just Ethereum. There is not a single cryptocurrency out there, for which mining is profitable now. Even when the Bitcoin prices were hovering at around $10,000 per coin, the miners were at the best making a very small profit. With the prices down by 30%, almost everyone is mining at a loss now. PoS mining isn't doing any good as well. PoS coins have gone down even more than the PoW coins and those who accumulated them for mining purposes are now regretting their decision.
5365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why does Bitfinex ignore Dogecoin? on: December 17, 2019, 02:40:52 PM
The one you called shitcoin is at the top 31 overall rank in the cap and I don't think it will be consider as shit since the volume is even more greater than the other alt's listed there, although you can't see a price development of doge but still it's doing great since the price became stable at 30 SATs eventhough the market keeps falling.

Well.. I am not going to refute what you said. Dogecoin ranks among the top-50 coins as per the list given by Coinmarketcap. And even if we go by the 24-hour trade volumes, it remain as one of the most traded cryptocurrencies. But that doesn't mean that it is one of the better coins out there, either technologically, or ideologically. It is a copycat of Luckycoin (one of the lesser known altcoins that existed in 2013). And this Luckycoin itself is a plagiarized version of Litecoin. There is no maximum supply limit, and theoretically infinite number of Dogecoins can be mined.
5366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 17, 2019, 02:29:40 PM
As only IPL have all the international players come together to play the  game everybody knows about it and I think only that country people might know other the leagues and people also may not have time to watch so many leagues and cricket happening around the globe .
The main IPL got this much traction that the rest of the leagues that are mentioned is because IPL was the first franchise T20 cricket league and it was a great success as there were players from around the globe and the amount of money they spent for production and the cricket crazy fans in India made it a huge success and then the other leagues started after seeing the commercial success they could attain.

A lot of the countries have tried to copy the idea of the IPL and create their own versions of the league. But only a very few have been successful. The Mzansi Super League is reported to be in deep loss, and the same can be said about the Pakistan Super League (PSL) as well. The Big Bash League of Australia and the Caribbean Premier League of West Indies are some of the few tournaments which have become profitable. The main problem is that all these leagues (including the Pakistan Super League) are heavily dependent on the Indian audience for their survival. And attracting the Indian audience is going to be a tough task, as the BCCI has banned Indian players form these tournaments.
5367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: is this gift right? Send 0.5 ETH = 1ETH on: December 17, 2019, 01:55:54 PM
This is a typical example of a pyramid scheme. First the scammers will send 2x ETH to the wallets they control, to give an impression that the give away is actually working. When the ordinary users do the same with small amounts such as 0.01 ETH, they will also get 2x amount. But once some user is foolish enough to enter big amounts, he will not get any coins in return and this process will go on using another site and a different URL.
5368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 17, 2019, 01:49:09 PM
Yes it will be difficult for NZ to beat OZ in their country and also batsman and bowlers are in form so this would not be an easy ride for NZ to content OZ in modest score . Unless some player stands out it would be OZ for me in next match too .

Advantage is with Australia, but I have reasons to believe that New Zealand would give them a good fight. The New Zealand bowlers seems to be in good form. Even with one of the bowlers (Lockie Ferguson) injured, they managed to restrict Australia to around 400 in a batting-friendly track. Neil Wagner has been in terrific form so far this year. If the spinners can also chip in, then NZ will be having a realistic chance of upsetting Australia at Melbourne.
5369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 17, 2019, 01:32:53 PM
Is it because of the patriotic level or the fear of getting back in the team
The reason is because they are contracted with the BCCI and they are not allowed to participate in any other leagues other than the IPL and once you are under contract with the BCCI and no one in the right sense will plan to breach those contracts and basically it is not patriotism that is displayed but they are fulfilling the contract they signed to play for the country and they are earning a hell lot of money playing cricket and hence no one will complain about the pay scale.

Well... this is not right, IMO. The IPL is truly a global league, with more than a hundred overseas players participating in it. There are instances when some of these players miss their national duty because of their commitment to the IPL. The players are benefiting from this, as their IPL salaries are manytimes what their national board would pay. But at the same time, the other cricket boards suffer due to the unavailability of these players.

Under these circumstances, is it correct for the BCCI to ban Indian players from participating in the foreign T20 leagues? We all know that their real intention is to cut back the popularity of these leagues (such as the Big Bash League and the Caribbean Premier League) in India, and to prevent these leagues from raking in valuable TV revenues.
5370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin's future. on: December 17, 2019, 01:24:12 PM
I think the new altcoins will affect the old altcoins but not too much. do you think like me

How many new coins are there in the top-50 list in coinmarketcap? I can count just a handful, including altcoins such as Chainlink and UNUS SED LEO. 90% of the coins among the top-50 are old ones (i.e created on or before 2017). The problem is that there are too many coins right now and the combined market capitalization continues to go down. Under such circumstances, there is no scope for new coins (unless they prove to be exceptionally good ones).

And considering that those coins that add up and trying to climb up these top 50 in CMC are getting buried. Projects tend to be repetitive and becomes like the same taste all over again. This is the problem that some altcoins in even reputated exchanges tend to dry up in value after the day of the project succession.

If a project has real life usage, then it will be noticed by the investors, irrespective of whether it is a new project or an old one. Take the case of Mindol as an example. This is a relatively new project, and the market capitalization has increased from $180 million to $650 million in less than one month. And this proves that if a project has merit, then it will fare well at the market despite the prevailing negative sentiment.
5371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 17, 2019, 01:18:43 PM
Tomorrow is the 2nd ODI between India Vs WI which would be played at Vishkapatnam . It would be interested to see what changes team India does in the bowling line up considering the first match where India lost the match one sided .

Hmmm.. the Visakhapatnam ODI is very crucial, because this is a 3-match series and in case West Indies manage to beat India, then they will win the series. And this can have an impact on the ODI rankings for India, as they are currently at the 2nd place with 120 points. If they lose another ODI match, then England will be able to widen the gap between them and India.
5372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why does Bitfinex ignore Dogecoin? on: December 17, 2019, 01:12:13 PM
Dogecoin is one of the top 50 coins in coinmarketcap. Many investors including me, believe that Doge is one of the strongest coins. Bitfinex is one of the top exchanges, but i don't think why they list Dogecoin as useless shitcoin. I hope they will review Dogecoin in the next time.

Well... I know why they consider Dogecoin as a shitcoin. Because it is a shitcoin. In fact, Dogecoin can be considered as the benchmark for the shitcoins around the world. There can be no better example for a shitcoin other than this coin. There is practically zero development ever since this coin was created, and the entire code was copied and plagiarized from other projects such as Bitcoin and Litecoin.

5373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning for newbies on: December 17, 2019, 01:05:20 PM
My only advice to the noobs is to remain vigilant. Too many scam projects are around, and new users should invest only in those projects which they are 100% sure about. Visiting the scam accusation forum will help, but remember that in most of the cases the projects turn out to be scams only after the ICO/IEO phase is completed. And by that time, the investors might have lost their capital to these scammers.
5374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY DOES BOUNTY PROJECTS TAKE TIME TO ENTER A MARKET on: December 17, 2019, 12:59:12 PM
Nowadays a lot of the projects are going for IEOs and ICOs, even before the initial phase of development is over. So by the time when the ICO/IEO is completed, the tokens may not be ready to get listed. Another factor that comes in to play is that now the team needs to spend money on the exchange listing, at a time when they should be concentrating on the product development.
5375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 17, 2019, 12:53:56 PM
They were competitive in patches when top order was batting, That's how they got Warner and Smith wickets despite their good start and Lockie Ferguson injury didn't help Kiwi's cause, other than that Australia outplayed them completely in every department.
Australia recalled Peter Siddle in place of the injured Josh Hazlewood and New Zealand replaced the injured Lockie Ferguson with Kyle Jamieson who might be making his debut if he is playing in the boxing day Test and historically Australia dominate the boxing day Test in the past and i am expecting them to dominate the match and like the last match New Zealand might find success in some sessions.

LOL... I watched Peter Siddle sending down missiles during the abandoned match between Victoria and Western Australia at Melbourne. He was constantly targeting Shaun Marsh and Marcus Stoinis with short pitched deliveries and a couple of times Stoinis got hurt when the ball hit his rib cage. I am wondering whether this is the reason why he got recalled all of a sudden?
5376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 17, 2019, 12:47:18 PM
Second largest franchise T20 league in the world has started. The first match of the Big Bash League saw Sydney Thunder beating Brisbane Heat by a healthy margin of 29 runs, with Callum Ferguson hitting 73 for the Thunder. With the IPL auctions scheduled for this Thursday, a lot of the franchises will be watching these matches closely.

And in the Bangladesh Premier League, Shoaib Malik managed to score 87 from 50 balls for the Rajshahi Royals, but his team still lost to the Khulna Tigers. Mushfiqur Rahim hit 96 from 51 balls for the victorious team. 18 runs were required from the last two overs, but Andre Russell conceded 14 runs of the 19th over.

5377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance’s IEOs keep Dumping, but why? on: December 16, 2019, 04:23:05 PM
I kind of think that the pump and dump of the market that happened after trading opened were caused by hype, I'm not sure binance is behind pump and dump. we know binance is a big exchange and can people at binance have the time to do that?

If an IEO goes down, then you can't blame the exchange for that. Although I would agree that Binance is no longer following their earlier strict screening criteria, there is hardly anything they could do to increase the exchange rate of the token or coin. If the project is not unique and having no practical usage, then it will go down no matter how much support it gets from the exchange.
5378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 16, 2019, 04:12:19 PM
I once told about the  Mzansi Super League here but no one look interested in that league and therefore we had no discussions about it. Although I was watching this  league actively but did not share anything here buz of lack of interest. I just want to inform you that today is the last day of the leqgue and the final is in progress at  Paarl between TS and PR.  AB de Villars is playing for TS and I hope they can win this one.

To put it honestly, nowadays too many franchise T20 leagues have been started and it is getting slightly repetitive with players such as Chris Gayle and Andre Russell appearing for 5-6 different franchises in a single year. We have the Pokhara Premier League (Nepal) and the Qatar T10 League ongoing now, apart from the Mzansi Super League. It is actually very tiring to keep track of all these leagues.

5379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM ICOs, what we can do? on: December 16, 2019, 04:06:24 PM
All we can do, really, about scam ico is spreading the word about them as wide as possible and can make an official complain if we have same jurisdiction with them.

Not practical at all. First of all, in most of the cases we will find out that a particular ICO is a scam only when the funding phase is over. And by the time we start taking actions, the promoters might have vanished with whatever money they could accumulate. And once they commit the crime, these people usually move to third world nations, where the law enforcement and judiciary can be bribed. This makes it very difficult for the victims to bring these people to face justice.
5380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: December 16, 2019, 04:00:28 PM
Bounty results of 2019 is way better than that of 2018, what ever happened on your journey will only makes you stronger and better, failure is always part of the process to succeeding. Find promising bounty projects and adjust when things go side ways

Will it be possible for you to give a few examples? From what I have seen, the campaigns of 2019 had a lower success rate than those which ran during 2018. I was really surprised by your post, claiming that the opposite is true. And for my part, I stopped participating in these bounties during the second half of 2018, after failing to get any reward for all the time and effort that I put in to them.
