5393  Other / Archival / Re: DigiEuro ( DEUR ) Only CPU! on: December 30, 2015, 02:49:21 PM
I'm using th e mobile wallet, and when I try to mine it just says it gets rejected by stratum. Mining on phone, help :/
It says rejected: connection refused
Can someone just make a detailed set of instructions how to mine this stuff? I'm new to solo mining of any coin and it just doesn't seem to work for me.

--EDIT--
Just put setgenerate true -1. I have not tested this, but it seems to work for the dogecoin client, and I recall seeing this in the client while scrolling through help in the console
5394  Other / Archival / Re: DigiEuro ( DEUR ) Only CPU! on: December 30, 2015, 02:44:59 PM

5397  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Laptop Nothing Specific In Mind. on: June 17, 2015, 12:02:46 PM
REEEALY old laptop? Smiley
I got a Thinkpad T61 by IBM. Core 2 Duo T7500.
The hinge is damaged but still works, and I don't have the adapter. I got a gaming rig earlier, and I don't really need this anymore.

If you don't need a great PC, this is for you. Unfortunately it's windows XP Pro.These have generally better specs than the Dell Latitude cheapo laptops on eBay and everywhere.
5398  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Choosing a PSU on: June 17, 2015, 11:57:40 AM
Try not to get no-name PSU's, as they can fry basically anything.
5399  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience BM1384 Project Development Discussion on: June 17, 2015, 11:55:04 AM
Right, wasn't really suggesting that, thus the winky face.

I use one of these: https://www.coolgear.com/product/metal-7-port-usb-2-0-hub-w-din-rail-mounting-kit-japan-nec-chip

About the most robust usb hub I've seen.

Man, that thing looks serious!  I just have a couple little 10 port rosewill 3.5A hubs.  Had a ton of them that I used to use for Gridseed pods way back in the day, sold most but kept a couple.  I figure I can probably run 2-3 sticks per hub, the adapter is 3.5A.

I use a 3-port hub. Just enough to fan one USB miner.
5400  Other / Off-topic / GTX TITAN Z= the card to waste your money on. on: April 05, 2015, 11:38:12 AM
Everybody thinks that the titan Z is so great and OMG i want it ( I do have it. I regret that decision.) Well, considering how fast a NVIDIA makes new graphics cards, we could expect a new card with over 6,000 cores in a few months. Don't go blowing money. Get some cheap as hell GTX 980's and then put them in SLI. That will save you cash.
