I think its because its probably an in house solution and a step up towards 3 phase. I imagine they couldn't find anything rated right for $20 or less so they just made one. I'm liking the price and spec of this new model - however I'm confused with regards the single mains connector. I don't recognise it, and in typical Bitmain style, the technical information on their website is severely limited - other than stating it is a 25A connector. Yup. Considering Bitmain has not seen fit to tell anyone just *what kind* of connector I suspect that it is a custom one made for BM that the user has to wire to a cord themselves. If so the miner damn well had better come with it and BM needs to have them for sale at least as spares.
If it is a custom then it's terrible idea considering that there are many global-standard connectors that would fit the bill. If it *is* a standard connector then huge oversight for BM to not put the spec into their datasheet/sales ad.
not listed in parts. I can try looking at chinese website cn and maybe part is there. edit can not find a thing on connector. Now I have 30 amp l6r and a lot 12 gauge and some 10 gauge. cables but I do not know of any 25 amp plugs. |

I don't really mind the idea that you are making some short-term measures, but the real measures with long term investing, DCA and other ways of accumulating that might fall into buying on dips and lump sum investments tend to be better measured 4-10 years or longer in advance. Of course, in bitcoin historically, we have had a lot of fairly regular great bouts of volatility, so there will be periods of time in which a lot of profits can be measured in a short period of time.. but still even if someone might find a lot of profits, even in a one 4-year cycle period, the real compounding seems to take place over a couple of cycles or perhaps more, even though of course there are no real guarantees that UPpity will continue..

So very unlucky block, almost twice the difficulty of shares submitted If Diff is for example 20T and you submitted 40T shares when you solve the block, you had a 200% luck If Diff is for ex 20T and you submit 10T, 50% luck Well an unlucky block for all but the winner. Which BTW is always true for solo-miner on this pool. Unless the solo-miner that hits the block did huge hash for a long time. Say you rent 1eh for 4 days before you hit a block. They look dope, not sure how do they dispense the heat, I see no fans!, also they say it can hold 2*MicorBt miners or 1 Antminer, wouldn't it be wiser to load it with 2 WhatsMiner instead? the cost is a bit high, probably in the 1.5k range with shipping if not more, so diving the cost by 2 could be a game changer if this is going to be used on a larger scale.
Also what about the liquid, is it included or do you have to your own?
The fans are right in the front, behind the grille, they seem large enough to disperse the heat from 3000w.  As for the cooling, it's included, 35l immersion fluid. So dump them and mine with no worries, at least on paper! The price is a bit meh for me, but each with his own needs and heat/noise issues. I am trying to rush ASAP to fill what's left in the farm space, the electricity infrastructure is no joke, it sucks a ton of liquidity, we just bought a 30M cable for like 0.2 BTC  , it's a terrible time to be doing any infrastructure work, it's good we did most of it during the bull market but should have done better, hope someone reads this and benefit from it, if you are planning on building a farm, plan ahead, and build all the infrastructure in the bull market, even the things you are not going to use for years. Far better when you're building it when there is no crisis and all the logistics are messed up, we paid 100 Euros for 10m wire mesh fences a year back because we had to patch it but otherwise at those prices you were better of with no fences, no walls nothing.
