5381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Tether (USDT) supported gambling platform? on: July 07, 2019, 05:27:15 PM
It will never happen unless and until USA government accepted cryptocurrency mode of payment as well as ICO and gambling investments.
One they started then we can find the new projects in gambling field with USDT.
Personally I didn't came across any gambling site using usdt deposit. Maybe we can find Bitcoin for ethereum everywhere...

Why not? It should be possible if tether is permissionless. I don't know much about this but I see no reason why it can't be done..
It should be possible on crypto based gambling sites... maybe not on non-crypto based sites
5382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC procedure in online casinos does more good than bad or the other way around? on: July 07, 2019, 02:15:51 PM
KYC done to any site or anywhere if it is not registered by the authority or by the government could be harmful as you might not know where those data could be misuse and how it can effect you. So people do not prefer to use such types of sites where KYC is required.

I agree with you on this.  But such practices by unregistered companies are no different than practices by registered ones. Am not sure if there is law against inappropriate use of people's  identities by registered companies otherwise big sites that have been caught misusing private informations would have been penalized
5383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IS there any ICO rating websites we can trust. on: July 07, 2019, 02:02:39 PM
None as far as I can tell. Most ICO rating sites are centralized and it is hard to get honest rating through such centralization except a rating website decides to be honest. I would advice you not to see them as source of credible information about new prejects
5384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the Litecoin rally over for now? on: July 07, 2019, 01:50:49 PM
It is better to just focus longterm if you decide to trade long term. Day trading works best for coins like litecoin
I kind of think litecoin was overvalued at 140 or so and i was expecting a correction. You made good profits already, why not sell and buy some bitcoin with the some of the profits.
5385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your most weird betting experience? on: July 07, 2019, 01:21:04 PM
As the tittle says I am just curious to know what are the weird experiences on betting. For some it might be betting on a weird game or they faced some weird situation while betting and lot more possibilities to catch up...

Having spent almost 24 hours arranging the games I had an interest in playing during the weekend(because I bet a lot on the Epl, the Spanish league, Italian league and others)my dog bite off a portion of the paper I wrote the teams on and since I was running late for my evening shift at work,I cudnt stay back to start afresh or look at the games again. So I just booked the games leftover from the bite  Grin and left.

Dude, all those games played earning me almost $650. I was estactic and it was weird in away because I was fuming when I initially left the house feeling frustrated then. Since then, nothing really weird again

This made me smile. So your dog made you win the game , right?
Hope you send some gifts as appreciation to the dog for helping you with the win? Or you spent the whole thing on yourself? lol
5386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wait for the crowds to turn up? on: July 06, 2019, 10:18:30 PM
The whole price movement is  simply based on demands and supply. No need complicating it with difficult explanations.
Price goes up when there is more demand for a coin and goes down when demand is less. It stays sideways when demand and supply is at equilibrium.
5387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FreeBitco.in Auto Free Roll Collector on: July 06, 2019, 10:02:09 PM
Yup, not worth the time to use this at all considering how little you can get from Freebitco.in and how malicious this might be. Not worth the time to check the script and such either. Same for a lot of other things you can download off this forum and other places; often there's malware hidden in files where you wouldn't expect it and also times when antiviruses don't detect the malware.

This sounds reasonable.
Op can't be doing this if he doesn't have something to gain from it. There are likely hidden gains for him which may or may not be malicious.
Besides I have problem with people trying to bypass captcha to cheat websites.
5388  Economy / Gambling / Re: New stunning crypto gambling project on: July 06, 2019, 09:48:57 PM
It is an interesting way to promote a site .
But if your product isn't that good or attractive to users they will probably leave once the promotion ends. I think you should create a great product before trying this
5389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A NOOBIE Question on: July 06, 2019, 09:32:12 PM
The new or least known exchanges do list for free or for cheap fee. I think that is where most new projects start from before moving to exchanges with high fee.
As regards listing good projects, I think popular exchange usually do it for free if the project is indeed good
5390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Video call for KYC verification on: July 06, 2019, 09:20:51 PM
Why would anyone accept video calls from strangers? It is still as bad as the current KYC method and I will never recommend it to anyone
It is careless to allow all manner of  strangers to view your face in the name of KYC
5391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Staking + Privacy = Anonymous Passive Income on: July 06, 2019, 07:04:55 PM
So what happens if the owner of this project dumps the whole thing and the price of the coin crashes ? The staking reward will lose value too?  I am not a fan of staking... It is even worse to stake the unknown coins. By the way,, you shouldve included what makes this coin unique and what it can do. If it has nothing unique and that is viable then it's definitely not a  coin worth buying.
5392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KuCoin Newest Program Called Soft Staking for Cosmos, EOS, TRON and IOST on: July 06, 2019, 06:36:18 PM
Guess the staking will be done on their centralized exchange.. This may not end well for stakers with the rampant hacking of centralized exchange thesedays.
I don't think the reward is worth it.  Just too risky
5393  Economy / Gambling / Re: GambleRock.com - Online Gambling Forums - Official Thread on: July 06, 2019, 06:01:46 PM
Social media for gamblers?  That would be a great place for gambling addicts to get buried in their addiction... A gambling forum is kind of OK though... at least it won't be that important to make  friends with gambling addicts to avoid worsening ones addiction.
5394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Tether (USDT) supported gambling platform? on: July 06, 2019, 05:46:33 PM
I never see tether has been used in the gambling website and maybe it still on the development, but I guess that in someday, there will be a gambling website that will support this. Tether is one of cryptocurrency, so there is a chance for the tether to be used in the gambling games. But I still don't want to use tether for the bets because tether means real money for me Grin

There are lots of gambling site that you can use the tether to gamble. Just do a little google search you can find a casino that accepts it. Betchain.com accept USDT/tether.

Ive been on the gambling scene for a long year but i have never seen a site that accepts usdt or other stable coins .  stable coins are a bit popular and im sure that gambling owners do also recognize it but they maybe insisit to not support stable coins for some valid reason  . nowadays , crypto coins are now becoming stable  .so  theres no need to use stable coins   . but if a gambler wants stability especially when gambling then why cant he just play offline gambling where he will only use fiats  .

Crypto was a bit stable when you posted this. Guess you have now seen why stablecoin is necessary.
I think there should be multiple options in case some prefer to gamble with tether instead of bitcoin.
5395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or is the market dominance of BTC dangerously high? on: July 05, 2019, 10:07:30 PM
This probably means less people are buying altcoins than bitcoin.

Question is why were more people buying altcoins back then than today?

The possible reasons are:

-- Super wealthy Whales are no longer buying lots of Altcoins

-- Most Altcoins are no longer easily accessible to buyers

-- The whales are only buying more bitcoin and few altcoins

5396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is IEO? It is better to participate in IEO's rather than ICO's? on: July 05, 2019, 09:50:04 PM
IEO is incompatible with cryptocurrency/blockchain ideals. You can fund your project through it if you want to but there are several long-term implications to your project i wouldn't want to go into.
It is simply not a suitable way to fund a blockchain project.
5397  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much money do I need to start investing on bitmex? on: July 05, 2019, 09:37:31 PM
Can you risk trading on leverage? Your question makes you sound like a newbie.
Trading leverage either as a normal trader or newbie is very risky and not advisable for someone like you unless though you are ready to lose all your funds in few trades?

BitMex has a demo trading feature.  I will advise you to use it before deciding to trade with real money.

5398  Economy / Gambling / Re: To convert or not to convert ❓ This is the Esportsbook’s question… on: July 05, 2019, 09:16:25 PM
Quote
The question(s):
What is your opinion on converting crypto deposits to FIAT?
Is that fine with you as long as you like the site and its features or it’s a no go and we should start working on implementing crypto wallets?
All replies are welcome, as we want to learn about your preferences and deliver the best experience.

Conversion to fiat currencies is OK as long as there is demand for it.
What would the crypto wallet be meant for? For storing coins on the gambling site?  Isn't that a  risky thing to do? I think you should just allow people to withdraw their coins when they need to.
5399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cosmos it is a Ethereum-killer? on: July 05, 2019, 06:36:19 PM
Your thread is kind of confusing. You use cosmos in the subject and used different name entirely on  your post.  Are both (cosmos and atom) thesame thing?
Would you mind sharing a link where we can read more about the project. Need to know why you think it is an ethereum killer.
5400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is the best place to learn how to play Poker online? on: July 05, 2019, 06:22:26 PM
I've never played poker, I've heard a great many things about it.
I'd like to learn .. keep in mind I haven't even played rummy (the Indian card game)..so I'll be a complete noob.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Youtube videos are all fine and dandy but I'm looking for a guided tutorial game platform where it'll dive into the more technical side of things.

Thanks in advance.

No any tutorial would provide you with complete knowledge about any poker games. The best way is to give it a try yourself.
Playing for free is a good way to start. In SwC Poker, you can also win real money for playing for free. No need to deposit anything. Just join a free tournament and start playing different types of poker games.

I guess op is interested in the basics, as well as the technical side. I think YouTube is the best way to learn this things but op says he isn't interested in just YouTube.

Does your SwC poker offer tutorials like the type op is asking for?  I am considering trying the free one on SwC after learning to play poker well.
