541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Solid reason of Ripple is in TOP List ? on: September 04, 2017, 07:59:29 PM
The main reason for this is people got mad and aren't looking at the obvious.

I miss the old times when a non-minable, premined coin was a scam by definition.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm now a MILLIONAIRE because of NEO. on: September 04, 2017, 07:50:25 PM
Shouldn't all zeros be crossed?? All zeros are crossed expect your balance total. I dont understand this scam picture. Hopeing to get people buy? Well I hope it works because I have some NEO as well.

Usually, when such topic appears, it's time to sell. Actually, the time to sell was a few days ago before this bragging, at the time when topic started,  it's time to secure at least some money from the "investment".
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: September 04, 2017, 07:46:31 PM
You are getting all DeepOnions coins for free via airdrop.  I do not know why people still make accusations.

You really are stupid..
It's been outlined all over the forum in detail over and over.

Let's start with the fact it's not an airdrop but a sig campaign.
Scam.. There doesn't even need to be any more so called proof than that.
But there is if you greedy douche bag pajeets stop playing dumb.. For cash Roll Eyes

I think we are talking with the scammers themselves, otherwise they wouldn't be so active.

They pay themselves even trough hacked bitcointalk accounts, not only their regular accounts.

Now imagine the proportions of this scam.
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to deal with the big amount of possible upcoming scam ico's in future? on: September 04, 2017, 03:52:07 PM
I have a pretty simple strategy of investing in an ICO at the end of it either in the last three days or a week. As it saves me from getting scammed as till the end of the ICO it gets cleared that the project is a scam or not by the amount of funds invested in it.

Biggest scams in history lived for decades with billions invested. Wink
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: September 04, 2017, 02:44:30 PM
All deeponion supporters are people without morality and for few bucks a week they will do anything even sell their soul to satan !

Can you hook me up with the big fella? I'd like to negotiate a deal! Takes a bit more than a few bucks but I'll throw the morality in as a freebie.

You can't throw what you already threw.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to deal with the big amount of possible upcoming scam ico's in future? on: September 04, 2017, 02:18:53 PM
Although there are some scams out there, it is very hard to just label a coin / currency a "shitcoin" because you don't like it. Like with any investments doing your research and looking into the company is the best way to determine whether it is a worhty investment. If you personally feel it is not a good idea, simply don't invest in it. Other people may consider it a great idea and only time will tell if they are right or wrong.

These are the qualities i look for before investing into an ICO:-

- Strong team - Both in development team and also the CEO's / marketing (People focus too much on the developers which is important but not everything. no point having a great team to create something, if nobody can advertise it and push the startup in the right direction.)
- Realistic vision - not aiming too high or if they do not reach their target everyone who invested will be disappointed
- Solid whitepaper - Well thought out, shows realistic goals, a strong good vision and a plan of action
- Strong social media presence - A social media that shows they are connected with everyone
- Good customer support - Shows they care, and they have invested time and money into making sure the average investor can ask questions
- Good website - A business who is willing to throw time and effort into a good website are less likely to be a scam
- finite supply - ICO's with no cap can be dangerous and can simply just damage their own coin by releasing more for more investment.
-Market they are getting involved with - Is this a new market? or a dying one? who controls the market?

Finally
- Good concept and catchy name - A good ethos and a name that makes them stand out. Personally i would avoid anything that is something "coin".

Personally i am looking at Crowdholding as it matches all the criteria i listed above and i am interested in their concept of co-creation. Also they are in their pre-sale so you can get a lot more tokens for you money, compared to ICO's.

https://ico.crowdholding.com/

Hope this helps you and happy investing!

547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: September 04, 2017, 02:16:06 PM
This topic gets better with every reply Cheesy .

I love how scammers are replying themselves with different accounts accusing other persons of registering many accounts just to bash this shitcoin. Hilarious.

Are you serious? What the hell is wrong with you?
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Riddle of the Twin Brothers - Who Were, Are and Will Rule the World! on: September 04, 2017, 01:35:12 PM
Sooner or later, without a legit company with legit assets that can back up the clients investment there will be no ICO.

Right now, ICO = scammy distribution model, not fair, not decentralized, not honest, against most of the principles that brought us together here.
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors Beware: China to Give Death Penalty to ICO Traders? on: September 04, 2017, 11:07:34 AM
ICO = scam by definition, now even China says it.

Need more proof?

Here we go, now you know where NOT to invest your money Cheesy .
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: September 04, 2017, 06:46:46 AM
Interesting that lotfiuser changed his mind from wanting to join the airdrop to promoting the scam accusation just after he got rejected from the airdrop.

i didnt get accepted for no reason

I did not apply yet I see the shady scheme here. Defending the feeding hand, how poetic and medieval.
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burger King in cryptocurrency on: September 04, 2017, 06:39:09 AM
Coin launched by a local brand of Burger King?

Why would it be worth more than their gift cards?

Right there, the correct set of questions.
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the right time to buy some Eth? on: September 04, 2017, 06:36:30 AM
Around 80$ is the "correct" price for eth, buy then 20% of your total wished amount. If it will fall, every 30% bellow, buy 20% again.

Otherwise, you're gonna have a bad time.
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Allow Me to Shill About Cofound.it on: September 04, 2017, 06:30:47 AM
I found two new news releases about Pantera Capital investing in Maecenas:

Pantera Capital invests in decentralized art gallery Maecenas
http://www.banklesstimes.com/2017/08/31/pantera-capital-invests-in-decentralized-art-gallery-maecenas/

Pantera Capital partners for Maecenas crowdsale and beyond
https://coin.fyi/news/ethereum/pantera-capital-partners-for-maecenas-crowdsale-and-beyond_6xj6hu

Are these BS as well?

Hey Hardfireminer, IamLucas.  I agree that this could be 'paid news', but didn't it occur to you that it's Pantera Capital paying for it for marketing purposes?

It's the same press release, payed PR, without any confirmation from Pantera. The reason I checked it out is that I know Pantera Capital and I know they won't invest in smokes and mirrors. This is why I recommend you to wait till an official confirmation comes from Pantera, otherwise you're gonna have a bad time.

By the way, I can pay for PR's and I can write whatever I want there, I learned this the hard way back in 2013 when all this bullshit coins and ICO's invaded our crypto world, losing a good bunch of money.

I know that you are experienced and know what you are doing but there are a lot of new, fresh people here who will only look at a legendary member and that would be enough for them to throw money to a shady scheme.

Good luck, guys, I really hope you do your due diligence before investing.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Allow Me to Shill About Cofound.it on: September 01, 2017, 02:52:02 PM
The press definitely sounds too good to be true so I checked on their site and on google overall, there is no mention about Pantera Capital investing in maecenas.co.

Here is  Joey Krug's twitter, no mention of maecenas.co https://twitter.com/joeykrug?lang=en
Here is Pantera Capital press releases, again, no mention of Maecenas https://panteracapital.com/press/

So I am surprised that a legendary member of this forum did not mention these small facts, those 2 PR's on medium and paymentweek are payed press releases and I call bullshit on this one. Until I will see an official information from Pantera Capital, I would not buy it.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burger King in cryptocurrency on: September 01, 2017, 09:16:53 AM
it sounds interesting but it is far from practical. it is too limited. you see a real cryptocurrency should be easily used everywhere, they might as well have given everyone coupons on a paper because both of them are going to do the same and a piece of paper is much easier to use than a cryptocurrency. and everyone can use it too.
in other words they have just complicated things for no reason!

when a shop or franchise starts accepting bitcoin, it is bitcoin, you can use it everywhere, you can get your change back in the same way. it is not limited only to that shop. so the hardness of using it is justifiable at least.

not to mention that with your own internal altcoin, you will have to explain to every single customer how it is going to work!

A great comment explaining why this is useless even if it will stand for long time.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING!!! - Shittcoin - How to deal with it? on: September 01, 2017, 09:05:04 AM
You see, in the past a scam would never be profitable as it would have never gain traction and support of the community.
times change. shitcoins are not on the 2nd rank of coinmarketcap.com Wink

So, you think Litecoin is a scam? It is a clone of bitcoin, not even the first one.
no, i am just pointing out that coming up with guidelines like this is flawed. there are always exceptions to the rules. and in case of Litecoin, it is not scam, but at the same time it is not really doing anything special either. despite being profitable!

Quote
Man, it's not minable - it's a scam, you will get to this sooner or later, no offence.

You mean it IS scam in its nature or will be threatened like scam by people?
It is scam by it's nature, the numbers are drawn, unreal. Why that number of coins and not 0.1% just? Or more hundred fold? Why not make it minable? Why do miners need to buy the "coin" and not mine it?
What is the limitation? I mean you can make the exact same coin and make it minable, but in this case, you can't premine, or at least in past you couldn't, people will throw it in the garbage can. Non-minable coins are just a brand new pyramid, ponzi scheme.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are they successful or scam? on: September 01, 2017, 08:59:26 AM
ICO = scammy distribution model.

Why would anyone participate in a scammy distribution model? I just don't get it.

Of course, everyone has their own guidelines, but a non-minable has nothing to give it value, with mining we have POW and this solo gives already value. What gives value to a non-minable shitcoin?
the value of a coin does not come from its mining. the value comes from its usage. if the coin has something to offer then it is valuable. of course it is debatable that what the coin offers is really useful or not, since none of the altcoins have yet gained any foothold in the real world!

as an example of a non-minable coin i can name Byteball.
it is not at all a shitcoin, it can not be mined, and it has one of the highest values (price).

Man, it's not minable - it's a scam, you will get to this sooner or later, no offence.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA - The gamechanger? on: August 31, 2017, 07:24:46 PM
IOTA - The Scam changer, a better name for your topic to consider.
If you can take the time to write here why you think this, instead of just writing scam it would be a better comment. So please try again!
Ty

Your ignorance will put you in a grave someday.

1) IOTA doesn't have a blockchain. It is not a currency nor it is not a crypto.
2) IOTA is FULLY premined, just two years ago this was enough for people to put red flags.
3) IOTA already has 2,779,530,283,000,000 coins, not distributed almost at all.
4) IOTA had a ICO, this solo is enough to put a red flag on this shit, not even a shitcoin.
5) IOTA is highly centralized, this solo is enough to put a red flag and mark it as a scam.

Good luck, "investors" shills and ignorants.

Some good points there:

1) IOTA doesn't have a blockchain. It is not a currency nor it is not a crypto.

Correct! A blockchain is just one chain, but DAG (Tangle) is infinite parallel chains = another dimension added to bitcoin.  Yes, we all agree with you that IOTA should have it's own coinmarketcap.com website showing all the DAG clones beneath it that have started coming out of the woodwork just like all the Bitcoin clones did after blochchain tech was launched.  You are absolutely right that IOTA is in a league of its own.  Anything exchangeable is acting as a currency (yes some function better than others), and IOTA's quantum proof cryptography can be shortened to the term "crypto".

2) IOTA is FULLY premined, just two years ago this was enough for people to put red flags.

Correct! Yes, it is called an ICO.

IOTA was launched as a typical ICO just like Ethereum, and many ICO's.  ICO launches are very common in crypto.

3) IOTA already has 2,779,530,283,000,000 coins, not distributed almost at all.

Correct! All coins were distributed in the ICO, if you missed the ICO then you can purchase 1,000,000 of them for less than a buck US.  So yes, at a current exchange rate of a buck for 1 million IOTA, you are correct that IOTA is EXTREMELY CHEAP right now compared to what most coins cost (these coins are 10 grand a piece: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/42-coin/ ).  IOTA does need help distributing their coins, which is why you get a million for a buck (so you can distribute them liberally everyehere).

4) IOTA had a ICO, this solo is enough to put a red flag on this shit, not even a shitcoin.

Correct! Just like Ethereum had an ICO

5) IOTA is highly centralized, this solo is enough to put a red flag and mark it as a scam.

Correct! Every coin is highly centralized on one single planet.

ICO = SCAM
Ethereum = SCAM
Putting IOTA near ethereum doesn't make it legit!
Ethereum is a scam, IOTA is another scam!
No, not every single coin is highly centralized! Actually, there are plenty of distributed coins that are decentralized, fair and honest!
