541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Importance of Bitcoin during the Pandemic on: October 10, 2020, 05:01:23 PM
Bitcoin is a famous and valuable digital currency in crypto world. Many hackers using it on their evil deeds, that's why many people says that bitcoin is useful for criminals and people involved with them. But despite that, bitcoins value keep on increasing and many others also said that bitcoin is important because of the technology that makes it work.

During this time that we are experiencing difficulties because of pandemic ,I can say that bitcoin is what we really need. Why? What is the importance of bitcoin now?
     >Bitcoin is so important during this time of pandemic that we need to take care of ourselves and for our families and loved ones to not be infected with the virus.

     >Bitcoin is intangible, you can't touch or handle it unlike fiat money that hold by different hands and it is prone to viruses.

     >Bitcoin serves as an instrument for online payments away from covid 19 and with the ability to transact internationally beyond the framework of financial regulation.

     >Millions of people have lost their job because of this pandemic. Why not use this bitcoin as a substitute to your work in order to earn money to sustain the needs of your family.
I know  there are other ways to earn but in terms of safety from virus outside our home much better to earn money using bitcoin. Also, there are many ways to earn it.

During this pandemic we need to: Stay at Home
                                                     Stay Safe
Stay Positive and Earn with Bitcoin

Not only Bitcoin, but crypto in general made lots of people to be interested more deeply in digital world, in Blockchain, in lots of opportunities they give for those people who stay at home because of any reason, or have to because of the quarantine, or may be it was their desire to change something in their lives and go into some other direction like online money making, investing or even trading. And this situation showed that crypto and BTC have lots of positive sides and preferences comparing with jobs in offices.

This pandemic doesn't brought drought to each and everyone finances but this hurdle of the world economic brought also people much closer to the possibility of welcoming cryptocurrency in their lives. I am lucky enough that i have been known this crypto before i am getting too late. This pandemic also affects the market values of cryptocurrencies fluctuations, dumped of prices but in counterpart of it it makes cryptocurrencies known by so many people and attract a lot investors.
542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Enough is enough! Good bye Bitcoin! on: October 10, 2020, 03:56:52 PM
I'm fed up with all this cryptocurrency thing.

First off, I make tremendous loses due to being a newbie in this market. After a second thought (and accepting the heavy loses incurred) I decided to try again and re-invest in bitcoin, only to be told this few moments ago.

I will not risking HODLING bitcoins if they will shut down the first (and only) cryptocurrency exchange in Kuwait. As such I decided to play it safe, incur further loses, and just sold all my bitcoins and getting out of this business for good.

After all, why should I HODL my bitcoins (1.25 this time) when I can't exchange them for cash when I need them? More importantly, how will bitcoin appreciate when exchanges will close in other parts of the world?

I wish I was never introduced to Bitcoin.  Angry

Any ideas on what I should do with my Ledger Nano X now?  Roll Eyes

It's so sad that you made losses.
But it's oftenly seen from newbies only.
That's why it's always advised that, before investing your money into anything, do a brief check about it.
Same should happen with trading.
Moreover as far the exchange issue is concerned, you could have paid a visit to localbitcoins.com, i bet that would have surely helped you out.
Hope this helps you OP.

Its a sad news mate hope that you can move on and made up from this huge loses of yours. What was happened to you was a charged to experience here in cryptocurrency and as a newbie it is not impossible to get lose what you invest especially when you are about to take it with no experience at all. But hopefully this might help you to learned from your experience and hope that you may not get down of what was happened. Taking risks, loses are very relevant when it comes to trading.
543  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin dont pay our billls we need passive income on: October 10, 2020, 02:24:35 PM
basically crypto cannot be categorized to get a steady income.
because the value is very volatile. So, for example, if you staked and received a token prize within an uncertain amount of time, you could lose because the value of the asset you are staking is unstable.

Volatility of price is one thing for crypto, but even if it there was no volatility, crypto does not create an income stream itself. Just like owning gold doesn't produce income, owning crypto doesn't produce income. It's an unproductive asset. The only potential return it represents is capital appreciation. There is no cash flow associated with owning it.

well, that is what I mean if you or someone wants to get the results of the assets that he buys / gets, he can try other things such as buying a house and renting it out, opening a business, and others that give value / results every day or depending on you determine it.

Bitcoin may not pay our bills immediately when we needed it the most but bitcoin for me was a good investment. If ever you're lucky enough to have an extra fiat or extra money that you think you may wanted to invest in it and you're willing to take risk for an investment then it'll be good. We have different enterpretatio. When it comes to bitcoin, this may not be a passive income but if you really know hoe to deal with cryptocurrency you will never get lost at all.
544  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin is rising suddenly ? on: October 10, 2020, 12:27:23 PM
Bitcoin sudden rise is not a surprise to me, although big news in the crypto space should also be considered to be the factor too. In recent time, about 5 days ago, the owner of Twitter company Jack Dorsey purchased a huge total sum of $50m worth btc, I think its because if this incidence that cause the sudden rise of bitcoin for approximately 5 days now.
bitcoin has a strong supoort at $10000,
I agree with here, btc expert traders and analyst had made it clear that bitcoin can never fall blow $10000,, as that's the point of greater support.

I believe that in this sudden rising of bitcoin was due to new whales investing in an huge amount of investment in bitcoin. I may have feeling also that this may affect future market fluctuations of bitcoin though fluctuations of values of bitcoin was very relevant and frequently happening in cryptocurrencies. And by having a value of $10k was really good enough for investments and maybe its the reason why investors are being attracted.
545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years and no country has approved Bitcoin ?? on: October 10, 2020, 10:49:52 AM
Generally, many countries refuse to approve bitcoin as a currency due to the fact they cannot control it. The system where bitcoin is used as key currency will be similar to that we had before gold standard was abolished. But this time, things may get worse. Bitcoin is intangible, it is hard to confiscate, it is almost impossible to centralize in banks' vaults.

More importantly, its total supply is predetermined, you cannot print more at will to finance war crimes. Bitcoin is a currency for peace, not for wars.

Yes bitcoin was not controlled by any countries around the world, this means that this is decentralised and volatile. Maybe one of the reason why no country has approved bitcoin because maybe they think taht BTC may become a threatened to their economy. And i didn't know also why some announced that bitcoin was a scam well perhaps this is just an alibi of the government or maybe they are just studying and having a resaerach about bitcoin.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Faith of cryptocurrency after this pandemic period. on: October 09, 2020, 03:34:33 PM
In my own idea, the market would be stabilized after this pandemic and several of the investors holds back to their investments and crypto market would eventually rise up again. Several of altcoins and bitcoin would be back to increase prices. That is my thought of the crypto market after this pandemic.

It's already happening, although we will see another correction in the future. There will time for bitcoin and altcoin to back to increase, although we don't know when it will happen. The cryptocurrency will take a position as an alternative payment solution, and maybe people now are learning more about crypto so that they can use crypto without a problem. I believe that cryptocurrency has a bright future, and it is just a matter of time.

Eventually this pandemic brought drought to each and everyone finances and even the economic of each every country worldwide. But despite of the pandemic still the market of cryptocurrency continues and though market value of each altcoin doesn't valued as same as way back 2017 where for example 1BTC exchange value almost hit $20k  but todays BTC value of $10k is not bad. Hoping that after this pandemic cryptocurrency market pump again as high as before 2017 market value.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The digital Yuan is almost a fact on: October 09, 2020, 02:37:59 PM
I am sure that it will lead the other countries to have their digital crypto as China does. But I wonder if that can impact the crypto itself since many countries still do not allow crypto to be used in their country. If that happens, I think that can bring new hope for the crypto to become globally in the future. We don't know what is the China government launch its digital Yuan, but we can wait for the next thing that the China government will do.
This is not impossible, we are now living in a modern era and not impossible that digital currency will be out in the market since as of now almost all government were advised to have a transaction via online due to the pandemic. And nothing is impossible if China are now having a digital Yuan. Well hoping that this development of china in their digital yuan may not affect bitcoin but instead this may lead for a bitcoin to be more useful in payments or any kind of financial transactions.
548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are people giving up on Bitcoin too quickly? on: October 09, 2020, 01:46:18 PM
I think there are those people that don't actually care what happened to bitcoin. As long as they can get a profit out of their investments, they would invest in bitcoin and get out to their advantage. In the end, if we will be looking at the long run, I think the ones holding for a long time get the higher profit than those getting out quickly.
Well, every people has their own judgment wether to stay longer in bitcoin once the all time high reached. But, some grab the opportunity in taking profit, of course. So they are thinking on the long term opportunity that a bitcoin could offer. When holding long term a chance to earn huge profit if the price soar in the marker. So people giving up quickly on bitcoin because of don't believe in its adoption happening.

I think some of us here are not even thinking that there will be a huge adoption in the future, some of us are just taking advantage of what they can do right now. But I think there are those that trust the process, that believes that bitcoin will be a huge part of an economy of a country in the future. That it will be a great currency used online.

I might not thinking that cryptocurrency will coming a huge adoption in future as well but i didn't think also to give up in bitcoin. I'd still have this gut feeling of mine that someday or one of this days bitcoin will be a part of our economy by mean of legally adopted as mode of payment in each and every shops and services. I didn't know why there are some of us quickly giving up on bitcoin. Hopefully they may find in themselves their way back to cryptocurrency, i have this feeling of mine that our dream for a cryptocurrency to be legally adopted was near.
549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin so unstable? on: October 09, 2020, 12:46:18 PM
because bitcoin is not a stable price ,its depend on how people to buy and to sell bitcoin its form investors ,sometimes they will panic selling cause of changing his price ,there is no asurance about the price of bitcoin
panic selling usually occurs when whales doing big sales to capture profits and then buying back at a lower price..

As Bitcoin is a decentralized coin and no one can control it completely, that's why Bitcoin is so unstable. But price depends on the user that supply and demand ratio.
this is the most appropriate reason, Bitcoin is a decentralized coin where the price change is influenced by the amount of market demand, we will not be able to hold the Bitcoin price stay at the price of $ 10k when the market demand increases or decreases..

I really approve that reason and would be my basis on why Bitcoin's value is fluctuating but what is hard to determine is why people needs it on some months because the fluctuation is totally random. People only panic sell when they needed the money in a rush but not their choice to sell it lower.

I bet that word unstable doesn't fit in the world of cryptocurrency well first reason of this is because cryptocurrency was decentralised currency meaning to say it is not adopted legally by the government and mostly not controlled by the government or any legality government. Second, bitcoin was a kind of cryptocurrency that's why my explanation regarding cryptocurrency was fit in bitcoin also. I think you should be used about being unstable of bitcoin.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safest cryptocurrency wallets on: October 09, 2020, 10:56:36 AM
Cryptocurrencies can be kept online or offline. If the cryptos are kept on the exchange platforms or other online platforms, it can be lost due to hacks.

So it is important to choose the best wallets that are safe and secure. Please help me in choosing the safest cryptocurrency wallets
I have suggestions depending on its use, as a market observer or more or less a trader, I will save cryptocurrency on the exchange platform. Because of the ease of management. from what I see because you look from a security point of view and avoid hacking it would be better to use hardware wallets such as ledger and trezor.

I f i were going to ask what was the safest cryptocurrency wallet i will definitely suggest a hardware wallet. Just pick which either Nano Ledger or trezor brand you were going to use. Well in fact it is just only my suggestion depend upon my own analysis which crypto wallet was the safest one. It is offline application and i bet this would suite from your security purposes issues of your crypto token and hope it may help you for some consideration.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: October 08, 2020, 02:30:46 PM
Crypto currency Coin are created in different potential function for a future function operation of cash flow as we all know that cryptocurrency is a digital assets, therefore the new coin creating can equal beat the price of the Ethereum in the market base on it prospect used and also the total supplies created.

Well i guess nothing is impossible if ever new risen token created has a good team behind the project and has a good digital asset offered. Every coin can be created much better as the old one token depends only if they saw that a previous token has something to improve with, and sometimes due to rivalry of new risen tokens trying to improve their project and wanted to offer something new and more profitable.
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: October 08, 2020, 12:57:21 PM
It is really not easy to make money doing bounties right now, simply because of the fierce competition by so so many bounty hunters trying their best to join first and to join good but limited bounties. Many were able to participate the past few years and many have claimed that previous 3 to 5 years were the good years in bounty but that is of course not documented properly since crypto is such a big thing so we're not sure about that. What is true though is that the fierce competition now only allows one to join maybe a bounty or two for this year.

Definitely it isn't easy, easy money here in crypto doesn't exist and so do also in real life. You may only generate money if and only if you worked hard to earn it. And working hard, sacrifice and learning was also applicable and advisable here in cryptocurrency. Here in crypto you need and must a lot your time, willing to learn about trading, you must also willing to lose your investment if ever to be able to gain knowledge and experiences. And most of all you shouldn't be afraid to take risk.
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is to be the beginning of the rise of cryptocurrency on: October 08, 2020, 10:09:49 AM
Will this be the beginning of a revival for cryptocurrencies because there are so many projects and project developments using blockchain technology
Mate the crypto industry is still here since the first year of Bitcoin launch til today, thats why its no use for revival because it is continue thriving and growing until these days But you're right even the governments are already seen the huge potentials of Blockchain the technology that responsible for the cryptocurrency development which is also used for there CBDC projects.
Cryptocurrency has already risen in the digital world and i believe that today is not the rising but instead today was the time that cryptocurrency were thriving and growing more and hopefully could find its way to get to high peak like it was way back 2017.  Today was not the beginning of rising the cryptocurrency but today has a lot of new ICO risen in the world of digital currency, a lot of coin a lot of rivalry that may risen up too
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies are safer with top altcoins on: October 07, 2020, 02:16:28 PM
actually not only top altcoins for beginner's choice, we have to do an understanding of which coins to trade, because not all top coins are easily traded, but I agree to avoid many scams it is better to choose top coins because many people already trade and invest.

Cryptocurrency has a lot of new risen token or crypto token but if i were ask i wouldn't be feel confident with the new risen one. But to be honest as a newbie here in cryptocurrency i bet it is hard to get your own kind of token most especially if it was a top altcoins. And yes top altcoins i guess was a safest investment for a newbies since it has already a good credibility when it comes to market value and its credibility when it comes to trading.
555  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: it seems to getting more difficult now to analyse cryptocurrency prices on: October 07, 2020, 12:21:51 PM
It will always unpredictable because the market moves on every situation, even we analyze using our TA the trend can still be change so I admire those trader who are still making good money despite of the uncertainty. This is a fast market, if you can’t handle it and don’t know how to ride with it better to play long and wait for your target price to be hit, don’t stress yourself monitoring the market 24/7.

It is somewhat like analyzing an economic of a country which is difficult to analyze and cryptocurrency is not as far as how we analyze an economy of one country. Cryptocurrency was volatile, and decentralise that's why it is hard to predict or analyze the price of each cryptocurrency. We only need to observed how it moves and and be a wise decision maker on how do you trade your crypto, keep it or hodl it if you thinks the price is not worth enough.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will another altcoin rise to overtaken Bitcoin? on: October 07, 2020, 10:58:03 AM
So far I do not see any such possibility. However, at present quite a few Defy projects are trying to do much better.Hopefully they will do better. However, I am not noticing any coins to top the bitcoin.

I didn't underestimate the possibility that new altcoin will rise up to overtake the dominating cryptocurrency which is bitcoin. But i am wholely trusted to bitcoin, i'd still believe that bitcoin will still dominate and still the synonymous cryptocurrency. ETH may also perform good in the crypto market but then no one beats the market value of bitcoin. I'm just hoping for the best for all crypto coins to uplift their values in the cryptomarket.
557  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trying to share wisdom on: October 06, 2020, 01:38:59 PM
Like as yours, I've taken a break for around one years here since the last(2018) cypto crash. Meanwhile, I’ve been learning lot how to trade. Prime part here is trade for yourself but not guided by others.

Don't close the doors to other's suggestions. You don't need to primarily trade thru your self-knowledge most of the time.

Welcome other's input as I think you have the ability know if it's worth following or not. Take their pointers as advice then apply it to your self-knowledge.

OP can consider creating a public room for a purpose of this as I think he's not used to share wisdom via regular posting.
Veterans may not really having enough time to post on bitcointalk, we can see that in most of the sections of our forum has less activities. Bit this thread will be helpful for the upcoming traders even if they have their own way there is nothing wrong in learning the new strategies, methods, condition from different members.

Yes i bet veterans in cryptocurrency doesn't have enough time to post, shared their knowledge and experiences here in bitcointalk but here in forum we still have some of the experienced traders willing to share wisdom and basic knowledge about cryptocurrency. We may have different story, different experiences but dont be confused about who advices would you take. Be open in any information you may get and trust here in forum that members here will never share those information that cannot help newbies.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto trends in 2020. How are you making them sweet gainz? on: October 06, 2020, 11:56:38 AM
Quote
5. IEO :
IEO is the new IPO. Binance had some cool IEO's this year. Namely,  Kava , Troy , WazirX , Cartesi , The Sandbox ( which will happen in a few days ).
In the terms of new hype, DeFi is what seem to be the market best choice. IEO was another major hype after the ICO time.
However, I have only heard of cartesi and many traders have taken gains of it by trading on it.
Everything are only good at the beginning, just like what happened in Internal Exchange Offering (IEO), and you are right, it was new hype after the ICO fever time way back on year 2017 - 2018. And what I observed lately, when DeFi started to make some trend, and look now, people started to get REKT.
But when you ask some people, they really making a lot of money especially in the beginning of this trend.

There's a lot of new cryptocurrency risen up and trying to make a name in world of digital currency. It maybe DeFi, IEO and lot more but it is true that everything was only good at the beginning. We can't still name what crypto  would going to be next trends. This Crypto's are struggling to keep their name and struggling to keep their useful especially when new rising ICO's pop up which has a more satisfactorily features compare to the recent trend one.
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: October 06, 2020, 10:30:31 AM
I do not think calling all members trash or crap is the right thing to do especially if you are the community manager.
These telegram groups represent the projects communityand there are many newbies and passionate investors that want to see price to grow quickly and there's nothing wrong in it.

Yeah, you are making sense via your point's, calling members a trash is not ideal because some new user who are two weeks old in community can equally adopt or emulate such usage of terminology thinking is the best way for discussion not knowing it's wrong aspect of communication in the society.
I believe everyone knows what is obtainable to avoid degradation in all ramifications of the society.

Yes i agree with it, lets not generalized all of the telegram users as a trash. Maybe its team behind has not been yet figured out the best out of telegram and hasn't harnessed what other capabilities telegram may offer in the world of digital currency. It so happened that the passionate newbies willing and eager to learn about discussion wasn't in the right page of discussion hoped that they can find a way to get in the right page of discussion for them to grow more in the world of digital currency.
560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: we need more volatility and faster bear bull bigger losses or bigger profits on: October 05, 2020, 12:53:48 PM
If you want instant profit by expecting more volatility, that means you don't have patience. In fact, to be successful in trading,
one of the keys to success is being patient. Trading when market conditions are high volatility, more risky than trading when it
is less volatile as it is now. Don't rush to make a bigger profit, the result you will be experience bigger losses. I suggest starting
to learn to trade in market conditions like now, if you succeed in making a profit, it means that you are ready to face a high volatile
market. But if the current market conditions you are losing, I am sure you will experience losses as well as trading in a high volatile
market.

Aiming for a volatile and faster bear bull may cause or may take you to a more riskier trading. Digital currency was unstable, it may give you a high profit and may also give you a high losses all was seemed to be dependent upon on how you make your trading so well that you wouldn't end up losing your investment. Patience is a virtue here in cryptocurrency, aiming for a faster and easy money was foolishness, you need to work hard to earned it here.
