541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Conclusion Sapphire RX580 with Hynix are not that bad. on: September 24, 2017, 07:15:38 PM
Stop talk a shit about  30,5-31 mh/s with rx 580!!!  Yes, its possible to get 31 mh/s but how long?? Rig will shut down after 1 hour, 3 hour..in the best case rig will shut down after 24 h.

I have 3 Sapphire RX 580 8GB Special Edition cards (blue faceplate) with Samsung + Hynix dual timing straps. Easily got them to 30-31 MH/s with 855-865 MH/s DCR dual mining after just flashing the cards using the PBE v 1.6 'one click timing patch' bundled performance straps Bios mod. Cards run very stable with zero memory errors using a 1150 MHz core clock, 2100-2200 MHz memory, -96 mV undervolt and -15% power limit. Awesome cards!

Where do you get this "one click timing patch"?

What are those other cards that are getting less than 30 Mh/s?

Any update on the Nano supporting NEO?  If I buy a Nano today will I be able to upgrade it?

I intend on HODLing NEO once the China question is resolved.
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.6 (Windows/Linux) on: September 24, 2017, 06:48:19 PM
Nvidia could crush AMD if they would just lower their prices on the 1070 and 1080 Ti.  I know I would prefer to run all Nvidia if the price was right.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v10.0 (Windows/Linux) on: September 24, 2017, 06:33:13 PM
-tt not working properly. I have cards that produce very different amounts of heat, and turn their fans seemingly without any logic. I even have a RX460 that has 32°C and 90% fan. Anything I could do about it? Setting fan speed doesn't work either, not from claymore bat file nor from wattman.
set fan using watttool, work for me.

Watttool doesn't support the 5xx series does it?

Can anyone comment on the power consumption for the RX580 cards. I have two rigs each has 6 RX580 and both are dual mining ETH+LBC (Eth: 176 Mh/s + LBC: 510 Mh/s). Each rig consumes about 1020 Watts reading from the wall-meter while GPU-Z reads less than 130 Watts for each card. I think they should all be around 6*130 + 70(system) ~ 850 Watts total. My setting (-cclock 1150 + -mclock 2100 -cvddc 870 -mvddc 870)

The power usage shown in GPU-Z is for the card VGA power connectors. You also need to add 40-50W for each riser. 1000-1100 W is about right for a six card RX 580 rig when dual mining.

The risers themselves do NOT use anywhere close to even 40W.  The power load for risers is negligible even with six of them.  It's the GPUs themselves that are using the power.

I don't think the power sensors in GPUs are all that accurate anyway plus they fluctuate so wildly.

I have switched all my RX BIOSes to Anorak's powersave versions.  I lose about 3-5% hash rate but it saves almost that much in power and reduces heat output and wear on the cards.

When I see 6 GPUs consuming over 1000W and then I look at an Antminer that can produce 4x more revenue on 1200W I wonder why I'm even bothering with GPUs...
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 560 4GB Ethereum on: September 23, 2017, 05:54:28 AM
If not mine eth have other better coin for rx560?

For now ETH is still about the best if you have 4GB.
548  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / At what point will you stop mining? on: September 22, 2017, 07:16:00 PM
My little six card rig that was doing $10 per day last week is now barely doing $7.50 and minus power I'm lucky to net $5.

Throw in what's going to happen with ETH and GPU mining might be just about done for, at least for now.  May be time to gamble on an Antminer.
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: September 22, 2017, 07:11:41 PM
Thank you for the detailed reply. Smiley I do not mind having it convert to BTC or  ETH as I can always sell that later. Now based of what youve said it seems easier to use zpool or mph to do this. I also tried using MPH and I still have coins sitting there not being credited from auto exchange. Is there a way I can have payouts automatically sent to my bittrex account and sold without having to transfer them manually? Ive used bittrex autosell feature before and it seems pretty great. Also what do you think th emost profitable way is? As of right now I got Zpool working great and it is switching for me and everything which is nice. All in all i just want to make sure im getting the most profiablility as I can out of this.

Yes, you just set your auto payout threshold to some number that you are comfortable with, and put in your Bittrex wallet address for that coin.  You do have to do it on all the coins that you will be mining.  Then on Bittrex setup the auto sell feature for those coins that you want it to convert directly to BTC.

I did say "some number you are comfortable with" because you are going to lose a little bit in the fee that MPH charges.  I'm ok with 1%, so if the transaction fee on MPH is 0.01, with a minimum of 1.0 to process... then I set the auto payout threshold to 1.01.  That way as soon as I've mined 1.01 of that coin, I'll get 1.0 sent immediately to Bittrex, which immediately sells it.  I do this to make sure I get the coins to Bittrex as fast as possible so that the coin is still "hot" on the exchange.  If you wait until you have a large number of coins, the coin my not be hot anymore and you wont get as much profit.

As I've said before, if you let MPH do the auto convert to BTC, they wait until you and everyone else has accumulated enough coins to make it worth MPH's while... by then the coin is probably not "hot" anymore and you are selling on the dips.

Thank you I'll give that a shot. Also is there a way I could have one rig mine at mph and another on zpool? I want to try and compare them.

Sure, why couldn't you?  I wish I had two identical rigs to run such comparisons, it's impossible to otherwise.

32 intensity works best for DCR mining with my 570s and 580s.  Maybe another .5% over intensity of 30.

I love the auto exchange feature but it would be nice if we could exchange from BTC to something else.

Trying to download the wallet, very slow.  Gets partway through and it aborts.  On my fifth attempt now.

please claymore make a fix!!! with beta driver amd every reboot i have speed different sometimes 29 mh sometimes 24 sometimes 19.. please fix this problem

That is exactly what I am seeing with my GTX 1070. It bounces around continuously.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v10.0 (Windows/Linux) on: September 15, 2017, 05:44:50 AM
Is anyone running GTX 1070s and experiencing wild variations in hash rates second by second?  Full speed hash rate is just over 30 Mh/s but I'm seeing it swing between 19, 24, and 30 continuously.  It was more stable before, not sure what changed.  It's only 51C so it's not throttling due to temperature.

What memory?

What settings OC and Powerslide?

8GB.  90% power limit, +500 memory OC, -100 core underclock.  I've been running with these settings for almost two months but suddenly in the last day or so it's thrashing the hash rate.  Tried multiple miners (NiceHash and Claymore 10) and both do the same thing.  I'll reboot tomorrow when I have time to monitor it.

Specifically registered just to post this ...

Be CAREFUL here ... the mentioned blocks above were not paid to miners, it is confirmed, and can be seen in the wallet for this pool.

Uncles are not paid full price, according to the wallet info, Suprnova have received 361.88 eth for 108 uncles as of now, and only paid 3 eth per uncle. This equates to 37.88 eth not paid to miners, which for uncles, equates to a 10.46% additional "commission" paid to Suprnova.

This, added to the noted unpaid blocks, equates to a large sum of eth, just sitting in Suprnova's account, and it appears as though very little is being done to resolve it.

Rather find another pool, paying all of this to the pool, is like daylight robbery

Annoyed..

Any response to this, suprnova?

The opposite of hacked.. your account has been locked because someone tried to login with your details...

If your account has been locked automatically for security reasons; please make sure that your used mail is not listed here:

https://haveibeenpwned.com

If it is, make sure you have a really secure password, better close the account and use a new address to register on the pool.

You can still unlock your account by solving a captcha by going here:

There is no logical reason this coin is going to moon even in years.  I have better places to HODL my funds.
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / suprnova pool users: is your account locked in the last few days? on: September 14, 2017, 09:17:45 PM
Tried to log in a few minutes ago says my account is locked.  Saw another poster from two days ago with same issue.  Message says to check my email for instructions to unlock but no email has been received.
