I too would not recommend mining with your regular PC, I fried my laptop doing that. Mining in your regular PC with just your processor or dedicated graphics card is in no way profitable. If you really want, buy some dedicated GPU hardware.

Here's the example of how I invest/trade: I've done a lot of research on 2 coins: ETH and NEU (Neufund). Both have solid use. My team uses Ethereum for software development so I follow closely it's network usage, and I know pretty well how many companies use it for various purposes. Neufund is the first Equity Token platform, it's economics are clear to grow and generate income, I follow it's channels closely and know what's happening. Besides these I also own Bitcoin for diversification and cashing out. Besides these that I know well and follow closely I do not buy any other coins, I only earn tokens of my clients through work. When any of my holdings get to gains of over 50% I start selling them slowly, to USDT or to other tokens if they did not grow as fast. For example I sold ETH for BTC when it reached 0.1. Then if the coins drop over 60% of the peak, I start buying them. I never sell on the downturn or buy after token is over 80% of it's historical high.
This indeed is a good strategy. My strategy are similar while buying with fiat. I select a number of coins which I believe do have a future. I buy when they are going low or high and are below 50% of their peak value, I keep on buying the coin if it keeps decreasing in a decreasing amount while stops buying when it keeps increasing and I set 50% of the coins on sell order above x2 of my buying price hence bringing back my investment in any time in future.

As of Now, Yobit and coinomi have announced the support to casllisto airdrop. Binance has almost distributed every well know forks and airdrops, I think they'll do this one too.

No one is compelling anyone for anything. Monero as an open source project can be forked by anyone anytimes. There are no reasons to FUD. If you don't like MoneroV, don't use it, simple.

It nearly does the work the ethereum do and has quite a large conservative ethereum community. Though in this time frame, both ETC and ETH has developed independently to increase their differences, I believe ETC following is on the decrease with higher popularity of ETH.

Whatever it may be, don't just give your private keys of the wallet you are using in a website. Fork generally doesn't need you to give up your private keys, if it does, only do that on open source wallet which has been verified clean.

Yeah, they still have some but soon most of them will disappear as people move to more efficient systems. Yet some popular like Bitcoin, Litecoin and privacy focused coins like monero may survive longer. Ethereum is soon leaving pow.

If you have a passive source of income that fulfills your basic need than you can jump full time into cryptocurrency exchange. Or you have someone to look after you in whatever the situation is.

I loved the approach of GIFcoin but while studying the roadmap I came to know it's going to be a vitabet's exclusive token. We've seen the fate of such betting exclusive token from popular betking.io, though not in loss, investors still have no good profit from it.

news like listing on popular exchange, partnership with another company, masternode implementation, coin burn or popular fork generally increases the value of coin. i.e. before the event, and they'll lose a bit after achieving that feat.

Thanks for the breakdown research. Though ICO has become a good way to gear up startups, they are also becoming an easy get rich quick scheme as the team is not legally bound to offer any profit on the investment. They can do no work and easily claim they are in loss or bankrupt or keep the silence as people manipulate the token on exchanges for just few twitter updates from the team.

Altcoins comes in different forms and nature and have different intentions. At current time, I'll support the coins that have a cause, especially a productive one which would be able to deliver to the world as well as earning profit for itself and its investors.

I've followed for fortune jack for quite a long. They are one of the pioneer of bitcoin gambling but their support always has been quite abusive. Though they settled most of the issues and accusation, still I believe they are a bit persnickety and conceited.

Bitcoin was the first of the cryptocurrency and this is a bitcoin forum. It discussed about bitcoin primarily and with the development of other cryptocurrencies, a section was designated for other alternative cryptos. Alt coins is a just a relative term for this forum, Ethereum or other cryptocurrencies and their forum doesn't call themselves alts. Rather they may call everyone but them, alts.

Hi, Constructing a small rig. With similar priced AMD and NVIDIA, going with AMD would be better? Please suggest, I find AMD generally have higher hashes on benchmark.

Blockchain is a huge challenge to centralized government. As their main source of income is levy on hard working citizen. As well there are some bully nations that inforce centralized fiat rules to levy money from poor nations, they would be the ones to mostly resist the blockchain technology.

Corruption is a human nature. Everyone want to misuse their post and responsibility to get some cash and power. The best way to reduce corruption is to make every system transparent. Just like smart contracts.

When people are happy for the death of innocent people just for having dissimilar thoughts than themselves, we can deduct that we are losing humanity.
