541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you borrow in cryptocurrency? on: April 17, 2019, 01:12:29 PM
I am interested in opinions about borrowing in cryptocurrency.
If a cryptocurrency will have low price volatility, then would you borrow in that token?

If not please tell why?

I am borrowing my initial funds needed whenever there comes a time that projects are entering the market and I see it promising. But considering the fact that there is no borrowing platform that I can trust, I rely on my friends, ask for their help and they are immediately sending me bitcoins and I repay them based on my profit.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Design is important for ICO projects on: April 17, 2019, 01:05:44 PM
I'm not a project maker, but yes, design is very important to have a serious image. So, project makers, take care of your design!

How much do they pay for digital designers and artist? Because I think projects are putting allot of funds in order to look competitive in the market, not considering how their project is really good in the back end, still their project becomes successful based on the designs of it.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Important question to Investors!! on: April 17, 2019, 01:03:06 PM
Hey guys. As the title suggests, i've a question to the presale Investors.

Do you invest in Presales?

What do you research first in order to invest?

What makes the project interesting and worth investing?

I ask all the investors, what makes a coin Perfect!?!

A working platform?

Active devs?

or do you guys see something else too?

Please let me know, i'm really keen to know such stuff before becoming an investor myself. Thanks. Smiley

Was it quite dangerous to consider investing on a project that doesn't have much reliability? I can say, those that are just trying to boom in the market in the first place without any experience? If that so, how do you try to take the risk regarding this matter? Because for me, I only invest on post sale I can say. Scared to have loss in the market.
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Investors need to face reality on: April 17, 2019, 01:01:15 PM
The situation is plain and clear, the market is growing steadily and not bullishly.

Everyone (incl investors) were hopeful of 2018 being a better year than 2017, it failed and left a lot of people in losses, now there are several blogs, posts, speculations and hope that 2019 will be the year and do better, but who knows if it will be more loss ? Or new profits ?

Let’s learn to things the right way, dyor, cash your profit and maintain a balance in your portfolio

Kindly contribute your opinion

But the very well known cryptocurrency enthusiast are already saying that it is the beginning of the bullish market that we could expect, the best thing to happen. I could barely think of steady market going to be dominant as still, volatility is still impressive. 2019 will be different, and we are not even close to mid year.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is your trading strategy? on: April 16, 2019, 02:45:30 PM
buy the rumour and sell the news

Quite accurate I can say, it is not enough to consider saying "buy low, sell high" in the market. We need to take into considerations also, the updates regarding a particular cryptocurrency. In fact, that will going to make a greater impact to the profit that you can get.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Will DELIST Bitcoin SV! on: April 16, 2019, 02:41:48 PM
Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of Binance, has announced that Binance will delist BSV due to Craig Wright's threats to sue bitcoiners who dare question that he is Satoshi Nakamoto. This is yet another blow to this coin that has failed to gain traction. Hopefully this coin will just completely disappear. It is a distraction to the space.

Perhaps, this is the best update that made my day.

I do really care about market volume and capitalizations, and I see bitcoin SV just parasiting what Bitcoin has already established and this needs to be fixed as soon as possible.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cardano Replace Bitcoin in 10 Years? on: April 16, 2019, 02:04:53 PM
If Cardano manages to successfully launch PoS, and it really gets so decentralized as Charles claims, I think in the next 10 years Cardano can surpass Bitcoin, not just as a utility but as a marketcap and a store of value.

Any thoughts?

I think relying mostly on the updates started by ethereum that PoS or proof of Stake would be even better than PoW is not that applicable to all of the cryptocurrency in the market. Updates should be based on what is the needs in order to support it and make things happen that will going to contribute on the development of a particular crypto.
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Concerning the future of bounty programs on: April 16, 2019, 02:03:17 PM
Market downturn is probably one of the main reasons why ICO projects can't last long and joining their bounty program is useless and a time waster. Due to the fact that the market goes into nosedive, ICOs are forced to cash out some funds in order to survive. However, it is not enough which is why some of them decide to cancel their ICOs and return the funds of the investors. It means if you have promoted their ICO way back then as a bounty hunter, your time and effort was put to waste. You might be given tokens, but dormant and unusable.

Been there, done that. I have experienced a lot as a bounty hunter in which all of my hardwork (even some stakes are average to high, sometimes low) was put to waste because of their sudden cancellations, closure of their ICOs, and the worst part is that when we fall of those programs with fake team or so, they would run away with the investors' funds and our reputation would be affected due to promoting them on social media or so.

On top of that, most of their tokens are going downhill the day they started integrating themselves in centralised or decentralised exchanges. Even if they choose to lock it on a certain period of time, it's definitely no use because they're still affected by the dump in which everything is unregulated and uncontrolled.

The future of ICOs and bounty programs are at stake due to the market downturn, and it goes even deeper than that. It looks like it'll take years for us to see the bull run, or maybe no chance at all.

If you are participating in any ICOs or joining as bounty hunters, what do you think about this? Let me hear your opinion on this guys! Thank you.

I am thinking that knowing the fact that bounties today aren't that good as before, maybe there is a chance that we can refresh the reputation of bounties by making a new name and system that we can assign to it. At the same time, make us way better than before in supporting and participating on these bounties.

550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO New format scam on: April 15, 2019, 01:17:05 PM
Better to avoid most of the ICO nowadays since there is just a bearish signal everywhere so you won't get scammed.  Roll Eyes

What do you mean, there is just a bearish signal everywhere? I think what you are trying to point out is that, ICO's are already known not promising. And in that case I can say, no. There are factors that will going to be the basis how we are telling things. Based on my experience on ICOs, it wasn't always that bad. Maybe you just try to invest on trading and exchange platform.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is still productive on: April 15, 2019, 01:14:01 PM
Traders make a great deal from altcoins. They are very much productive. Bitcoin to me is just a long term hold project.

That's true, and altcoins are more focused and accurately intended for trading usually, scalping they say, I tried it before in order to figure out how altcoins can provide income with low market price. And compared to BTC, it is much more different in a way that, profit depends on time based on altcoin and bitcoin.

553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you have to take risks. on: April 15, 2019, 01:01:09 PM
Risk takers are great earners. You take risk just like to explore all options. Not that you are aware what the outcome will be, but to get a better idea. It may go the negative way for you to learn more, it might also go the positive way to give you much benefit. Am a risk taker and I have no regrets. I come out stronger.

Considering the fact that in risk taking, you are entering an option which is 50/50 that will going to define what the can be, what good thing we can do is to make this percentage unbalance to to turn the table to our favor. One thing I can advice is to become observant, learn to be sure what investment you will going to take, it might turn out to be 60/40.
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear market,a blessing in disguise on: April 14, 2019, 05:53:55 AM
As Einstein said, you can't get different results by trying the same things. For this reason, a development in the crypto money market should be shown.

And that is why, IEOs, STOs, and different coin offerings are being launched in the market, just like in real life, happiness could be found for seeking something new, not always being contented to what we already have. In that case, market of cryptocurrencies needs to adopt to changes in order for this to happen.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Price is not everything! on: April 14, 2019, 05:50:47 AM
Profit is still the end goal but I see your point. It's usually the moon or lambo boys who worries about every price drops and unable to see or realize that development takes time.

They should better understand what is the difference between crypto market value and crypto market price. To think about, it is just simple, price is short term, value last forever. Knowing that fact might lead us to invest on what will going to be the best in the market.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in? on: April 14, 2019, 05:48:19 AM
If you want to invest for long term then Eth is absolutely the best holding but if you are in for short term then i will recommend to search about new alts and tokens investing in new projects can be risky but at the same time profit potential is much higher.
Long term should be better if you consider bitcoin, because eth has an infinite volume and since bitcoin hasn't there is much possibility that it can moon better than ETH. Just my advice if you would want to consider.

You can also think the fact that popularity contributes to the market, and knowing that, I assure you can earn profit soon.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the good way to earn with Altcoins? on: April 14, 2019, 05:45:51 AM
Hi. I have a question for you. Some ones do Day Trading,Some ones do short term holding,Some ones do long term holding,Some ones invest in ICOs and some ones do bounty and Airdrops. But what is the good and easy way to earn with altcoins.?What is your suggestions?

Bounty isn't reliable here, considering that what we need is the altcoins that have a value and market price, some bounty do not provide that, their coins have nothing can do to markets. I advice you to trade and accumulate, in that way you are very much sure than doing bounty stuffs.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins Delisting on: April 13, 2019, 10:34:49 AM
Recently FUN and RISE delisted from Bittrex. What are the reasons that exchanges delist coins? Is there any way to know that any exchange going to delist any coin?

I think that the reason it is the lack of trading volume. It is make sense that Exchange don't want to spend money for service of listing if they don't get enough fees from this trading pairs.

Also, one thing can contribute as a factor to be delisted is the lack of support from both parties, the crypto and the exchange wherein, there should be a mutual communication and agreement to happen. In some cases, coins can be accidentally listed that will definitely needs to be removed.
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: For those bounty hunters who can hardly relate on: April 13, 2019, 10:33:19 AM
Wow,  exactly the way it does plan out,  bounties in most cases are not worth the stress now.  They keep blaming bounty hunters for dumping a project, why won't they dump when they are treated badly.
Respect for this write up.

Let me make it clear to you. Never ever believe that tokens are been dump by bounty hunters and airdrop owners. it is a big fact lie.

How could you say so? If the token is listed on an exchange, at the same time, we saw the transaction history of that particular coin, we can see huge volume being dumped in the market. Would you consider that as an inside job? That they technically showing us some lies regarding the matter?
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cypherpunk calls out Mark Zuckerberg on: April 13, 2019, 10:31:42 AM
Mark recently wrote a letter discussing his focus on installing end to end encryption of private messages between a user on Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and Facebook. What people don't understand is end to end encryption does not mean privacy.

Longtime cypherpunk David Chaum, who is known for his invention of Digicash and mentioned inthe Bitcoin whitepaper decided to call Mark out on what true privacy meant and how he intends to bring his latest invention Elixxir to the world.

Elixxir digital payments platform will not only offer end to end encryption for users but will obscure metadata from the transaction.

https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/david-chaums-elixxir-blockchain-launches-betanet-of-the-metadata-privacy-protecting-platform/

I don't know what to make of this, it is like a dilemma because crypto need more exposure and with more than 1 billion facebook users having access to crypto is a great achievement for the space but we all now that firm like Facebook are here for the money and nothing else, so for now I will sit on the fence on this issue

I think that's a valid reason to be in a dilemma with seeing how Facebook could help with mass adoption. But I also think that raises another worry. If we've already seen how easily people take to Facebook and trust them that's just another way for them to continue selling our data for money. What needs to happen is teaching the mass public about why they should even care in the first place

you're right, but think about this. If only 1% of this 1 billion user become crypto friedly or better crypto user, it will mean that some of them will start to use bitcoin of other crypto

Not literally bitcoin to consider, there will be a chance that Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg himself would going to make his own crypto that will be implemented to his platform, at the same time, allow multiple cryptos to circulate facebook based on a country's jurisdiction and privacy.
