I think we are already seeing the starts of a bull market but it is being very selective about which coins rise. I don't think we will see a return of 2017 where every coin went up in price. That was driven by pure hype and a lot of really dumb money being invested by unsophisticated investors. From here on in coins will rise in value mostly based on merit, which is a much healthier way for the industry. The rise won't be as quick but the bull market will be more sustainable and last a lot longer.

Though there is no actual legal reason for people to be doing a KYC for a bounty campaign, I do not think that the reason behind it is to cheat bounty hunters. As bounties have become less numerous and it has become harder to make money we have seen an increase in people doing multlipe sign ups for the same bounty using many different identities. Some even seem to have developed bots to manage the sign up process and do the bounty. The main reason we are seeing increases in KYC requests is to stop this cheating.

Good projects are still getting funded and people are not having much difficulty raising money for new hedge funds that specialize in cryptocurrencies. The difference that weak are marginal projects are struggling compared to last year. You have to accept that last year was an anomaly and is unlikely to ever return. The dumb has left the market and the smart money that is left is very discerning about which projects it goes into.

I consider the contribution as work and if I contribute work to a project and the project is a success then I expect to be remunerated for my work. There is no rule that says you have to conduct a bounty and if you don't think it contributes value to your project then don't do it. But if you do decide to conduct a bounty then you need to treat those that take up the challenge with some respect and more importantly honour the terms of your agreement.

If I still believe in the project and I see the people behind the project making progress then I HODL them. As long as my investment thesis remains unbroken and it has not reached my target price then I do not sell. In fact I will often add to my position if I see one I really like trading at very low prices.
