Both are probably good choice.
Many people like Litecoin because it is very similiar to Bitcoin, but much faster and cheaper.
Ripple is totally diffrent coin. With totally diffrent usecase.

Altcoins can offer more better features than Bitcoin. They are younger, constantly updated and they are more interesting in some way. For example: IOTA is created to support internet of things idea.

I am hodling few coins in an exchange and do some trading. Cut losses were fine with me 'coz I'm a bit scared of high loss, I am just playing in a safety mode. But, while many are happy with the eth's continuously pumping and traders are happy to see the market's optimistic view, I am still here waiting for the Eth to drops heavily like at least $30. So, I can buy some and will experience the fruits of eth's benefits as well.  Is it possible now, to reached down it's value like that? Like hello? I've been waiting for a couple of months. Lol Am I the only one here, in the contrary of patiently waiting for eth to dump like hell? I do not understand the purpose of this thread. You want to buy cheap? So did you write a post about a few hundred wasting words? |

Hello guys, wanna ask you funny question. Let's suppose one is fond of travelling or wants to relocate. Do you have any ideas how could it be possible that in the future we buy tickets and book hotels with cryptocurrency? and can there be any coins for tousits in the future? it would be really convinient instead of exchanging money in each country. just imagine that museums, restoraunts, car rentals and all sorts of attractions admit crypto, how much easier it would be instead of dealing with cash! sometimes you can even be fooled in exchange offices or given counterfeit money. so many actions which only cause headache and anxiety. i have heard that Lufthansa took a part into project based on Eth and that they are investing into swiss project Winding tree and that they use their own coin LIF. as i understood that is really close to what i was dreaming about, a possibility for paying with crypto for transportation and accomodation. i have lost track of what they are doing now, though, maybe it all works right now. do you have any other examples or suggestions how crypto might affect our exploring the world? i'd like to know your thoughts  I recommend you to wait, travel next year. This year you will lose a lot because every cryptocurrency coin lost a lot. So hold this year, enjoy your next year. If you travel in a year, you can also travel to more luxurious destinations because crypto will likely grow. |

Airdrops were good, now it is better to do not them. A lot of them are only abusing their participants, participants promote their website - but participants will not receive anything for that.

Everything is possible. I have seen how someone lost every coins from Ledger Nano when he treid to claim Bitcoin Forks coins... He lost about 10 Bitcoins. Still I do not understand how it is possible.

Ripple is so much hated coin. But as you can see it is probably the only one which will be used in everyday life by real people. And not a coin created only for holding as other coins  . |

I am only waiting for the next big growth of Ethereum which will be caused by the blockchain update - Casper and Shardering. After these 2 essential updates Ethereum will beat every altcoin and will be more interesting for investors thanks to Proof of Stake consensus.

You should know that ICOs thanks to Airdrops and Bounty campaigns are doing a big marketing campaign and what is the best? That this marketing campaign is free! People want free tokens and they are spreading the word to receive some free tokens - what really great idea, right?  . |

Now, it seems to be the best moment for buying altcoins, especially Ethereum. Until yesterday Bitcoin was seen as a safe haven but now, after yesterday's growth of altcoins, investors see altcoins as a good and safe investment opportunity. Altcoins are not dead!
