They are realizing the real value of this project This is true, and also, the market is slowly recovering from the shock caused by the fall that started early in 2018 and I'm seeing more hopeful people again. Crypto is a market and no market stays down forever. The absence of trust is due to the fact that this is a whole new market and it will take more years to convince people that crypto is here to stay but I'm confident that it will happen. |

I have a wallet on other computer, and have backed up apa.dat
I installed wallet on a new computer but can't figure out how to import apa.dat
You just need to change the name to wallet.dat Then go to My PC with your new computer and write %appdata% , go to DeepOnion folder and paste your backup (now with the name wallet.dat). You must delete wallet.dat file if you find a new wallet.dat file in %appdata%/roaming/DeepOnion folder before copying the file here you backed up early and renaming it to wallet.dat. This is what I do. There may be several other ways of doing it though and no way is incorrect unless you have no wallet.dat backup (also encryption keys if encrypted) or private keys backups. Before you delete the wallet.dat, make sure you have plenty of copies, use USB passport protected flash drive for backups! Exactly. Everyone who advises people on how to use wallets should take extra care to emphasize the importance of having multiple backup copies to avoid any disastrous results. More experienced users might be taking it for granted that all users make backups but unfortunately, that's not the case. Let's help each other |

It's not fully distributed, there are some reserved coins. The founders reward is 2 million. There are 3 million coins reserved for development with another 2 million reserved for bounty, marketing and promotions, available at public known wallets and all the coin movements are logged for public viewing and transparency. I assume the OP meant that there was no ICO and all the coins that were distributed, were actually distributed to the DeepOnion community via the airdrop. |

To be honest, I do not think that there is a poll we would not win. Our community is obviously the most dedicated and best organized in the whole cryptoworld. I'm sure after see how Ravencoin got listed in Binance and went parabolic, nobody would miss an opportunity with DeepOnion and the ongoing development.
I believe that there's value in DeepOnion and that's what will make people notice it more. I don't know about a Binance listing, after all, DeepOnion had achieved ATH close to $20 with just a listing at Kucoin (which was a lot smaller back then) and at Cryptopia. |
