541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bob's Repair Initial Coin Offering on: March 06, 2018, 11:56:39 PM
after the bounty campaign, we have to do kyc? i hope not. i dont want to send my personal information world wide. somebody knows that?

and I have a suggestion. it would be very good if you would update the signatures with the new ico date.
I don't think they will require investors to do KYC, Cryptocurrency is decentralized and we shouldn't give our information it's very dangerous for us. .
What do you mean by that?

I don't really think that KYC is needed for investor. Buy strict KYC for the workers that will use BOB platform. Ideally for me both workers and client needs to be KYCED this is for the safety of both sides.

KYC needs to be done ASAP so investors will receive it. Developer and team are active so no need to worry about their status. I guarantee you that we will get our token after ICO ends.

I don't think it's a best idea to KYC the investors, i really don't agree with it. Anyway if that what bob's repair wants it's okay. But it will greatly affects the numbers of investors. Personally i really don't want to be kyc'ed in Crypto. I want anonymity. Because I knew someday having a crypto will make your life in danger because of the greed of other people.
That's what i'm talking about KYC for what? honestly this kind of regulation should be denied, i'm not going to give a damn f*ck about my information it should be anonymity and decentralized.
KYC is not compulsory in other ICO but other ICOs required the investors to have KYC. The reason behind the requirement for having a KYC is for the developers to know about the legality of their investors and it is good in some point because it can prevent act of terrorism and illegal activities.
If you don't want to pass your identity then don't invest in an ICO that requires KYC. I know you want decentralized and anonymity but for the sake of the ICO, I think it is better to have KYC. Nothing will remove to your personality unless you are a criminal.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Idea for an ICO on: March 03, 2018, 11:53:53 PM
It is not easy to run an ICO specially if we want it to become successful.
There are certain requirements whe we will run an ICO like,
1. Content and usage of the project to the world
2. Developers/Specialists
3. Money, it is a must to have large amount of capital
4. Promoters of the project.
To be successful, we must think of what we will do first and the possibility to lost amount lf time and money.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What need to do in this unstable cryptocurrency market on: March 03, 2018, 11:41:45 PM
We need to play our capital, move like a veteran trader and notice the current events in our technical analysis. The cryptocurrency is not really stable and if we will enter the world of crypto without having knowledge on how to have profits and we don't know how to avoid from a great loss probably, we will not meet our targets.
544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Must Read on: March 03, 2018, 11:07:13 PM

Let's create a thread that is effectively spam to complain about people spamming..

I tend to find that many of the old threads here keep getting pumped back to the top so that people can get
advert impressions from their posts so please let me know if you see any of that going on around here because
I have spotted a few and they seem to live on the forums here.
I also noticed that there are old bumps here in bitcoin discussion with a lot of replies. Sometimes, it is all about bitcoin speculations and how bitcoin will long last. I always read many replies that are similar to each other, the only thing they did is to rephrase the idea.
It is good to be original at least, what you are talking about is in your opinion. Though it is good or bad in other people.
545  Economy / Economics / Re: Five common mistakes made by Bitcoin users on: March 03, 2018, 10:33:08 PM
1. Do not remember electronic wallet password
2. Do not back up your wallet
3. Do not research new services
4. Buy and sell based on feelings
5. Leave your money in the electronic money floor
Probably that 5 mistakes will just did by newbies. A lot of users in cryptocurrency are always failed when they are starting to use the bitcoin. So, I better research and asked first to the veterans in cryptocurrency before I started to click. I better look on how the process even the important things to be kept like back up files because I want to assure that everything I will do is right.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bob's Repair Initial Coin Offering on: March 03, 2018, 12:00:44 PM
I hope this project will be successful in selling ICO later and reach hard cap.
see so big the function of bobs for society. hope can be realized well.

I believe bobsrepair would hit hardcap,  pre-sale was sold out. Although, I still think the entire duration from pre-sale to main ICO is too long,  investors might loose touch and probably get bored over time. In a project of this kind,  I think it's best to strike while the iron is still hot.

I agree with you, and this is one of the projects with the biggest bounty campaigns I have seen in a while. I think the marketing is also doing great job. The Prandecki brothers are all over the place on social media. Also I think the BOB treasure hunt also helped boost it's publicity.
Yeah I think that the bunch of supporters help the Bob's repair to become successful in the token sale. The more promoters, the more the project attracts investor. The power of promotion is useful in terms of ICO. And it is good that Bob's repair have many promoters specially, in bitcointalk signature campaign.
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we share our knowledge to the other people about bitcoin??? on: March 03, 2018, 07:00:04 AM
Its better to let them see how bitcoin really works. By telling them or letting them to watch a video or a lecture that explains the basic of cryptocurrency as well as bitcoin can make them more interested in cryptocurrency. If you told someone that you are earning even you are in your house will easily attract them to study what you are telling about. If they ignore you then stop approaching them.
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bob's Repair Initial Coin Offering on: March 01, 2018, 12:52:13 PM
All Bounties will be paid directly to all eligible users wallets at the end of Main ICO Phase.  (allow at least 2 weeks for finalizing and calculation of all stakes, tasks and assign payments)

So we should keep making posts until the main ico is over, right? BTW, how is going with the pre-sale? I think it should be sold out in a short time since I can see this project is a very hot ico project on this forum.

Our Pre-Sale of 6,000ETH has been reached. It was also our soft cap goal.

Last week I hung out with the founders of Haaven and they told me about their awesome airdrop. Before the main sale starts we will announce a million dollar airdrop and a promotional program similar to electronuems. It is going to be a lot of fun and will create a lot of good buzz.
This is really fun 6,000eth is very big for presale i hope the next main sale will reach the hard cap. we'll keep supporting Bob's repair, I'll visit telegram most of the time so that i won't left behind.
Imagine, 6,000 worth of ethereum!
Wow! This is the best ICO ever I had. 6,000ETH is equivalent in 4.8 million dollars, that's the proof that Bob's repair is not a scam and the people are interested with the project. I know that having a project bases on contractors really attracts the people.
549  Economy / Economics / Re: There's a new economy growing on this forum - Merit on: February 27, 2018, 12:59:15 AM
In the first place, merit system is not a type of economy and not also a new form of economy here in forum.
Merit system is a protocol made by Theymos in order for the users in this forum to make a quality post. The new system wants to achieve excellence!
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bob's Repair Initial Coin Offering on: February 25, 2018, 02:43:15 PM
This sounds great! If this is played right, this can possibly bring in real estate investors to investing in crypto because this coin would protect their house renovation/repairing budget from fraudsters and low rate contractors. Thanks for the post, I'll definitely research this further.
Would you want to have platform like Bob’s in your place too? I really wish we also have like this in my country where every contractor, carpenter, plumber, electrician, technicians take advantage of their clients need. Just because clients have no other choices so they take advantage of it.
Yes of course! In my country, it is hard to call a skilled workers in urgent. Usually, most of the carpenters here in my town are incapacitated to repair the house properly. Sometimes there are damage in their work because they are lack of skills, they only know the basic. Not to degrade them but this is really what happens in my town.
In Bob's repair, clients has assurance that the skilled workers have expertise on their work. They can easily manage if there are troubleshoot and aware of the unnecessary damage.
Lol! They are not just unskilled they are also skilled thieves. My personal experience tells me this. They offered to buy the materials needed and they took the money with out coming back. This is because they are not known poeple to us.
That's worst story I've ever heard when it comes in skilled workers. In my case, I've experienced that the person I've called to repair my house was cheating the time and his work. You know what? I saw him that he did not working efficiently but he just playing his tools in order to create a sounds. A sound that you will expect he is working. Until now, I did not call him anymore whenever there is a problem regarding in my house. In that scenery, Bob's repair will help us to have a skilled workers that works efficiently, with effort and real skills plus they are not thief because probably, their names will damage in case they do it.
551  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Campaigns for Newbie to get Bitcoin on: February 24, 2018, 11:14:53 PM
Are there any campaigns for newbie to get Bitcoin ?
Yes, try to look at the announcement thread and bounty section, they are offering campaigns that you may get bitcoins. However, it is not easy to join in a campaign and you must be constructive in posting in order to count you stakes and also, jr member is the least rank to be accepted in each campaign.
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be this guy! on: February 24, 2018, 10:37:23 PM
If it was happened right now probably, he would not take the risk to encash his bitcoin. But since it was around 2011, there is stability of bitcoin's price. Hopefully, it will become lesson for today's panic seller that do not lose your capital in just a second of dump. Just wait till your profits come.
553  Economy / Economics / Re: Positive thinking brings positive things. on: February 24, 2018, 01:52:00 PM
I believe in law of attraction. It is good to perceive positive things because you attracted also positive aura. Yet it is not good to think negatively, I think that thinking in bad ways are important to anticipate the near loss or failure. If you know what will become your mistakes, maybe you can change your life.
554  Economy / Economics / Re: Five reasons 2018 could be the best year yet for cryptocurrencies. on: February 24, 2018, 09:51:45 AM
Definitely, the price will uprise in the Q4 of 2018. It will just repeat the scenario during 2017 wherein the bitcoin bullish the market. But I think it will grow up more and other cryptocurrency will move up also. Let see how does the luck of cryptocurrencies for 2018 and just hope that it will hit the  high price.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bob's Repair Initial Coin Offering on: February 23, 2018, 09:39:58 AM
I’ve read somewhere in the White Paper about the annual income of skilled workers, namely carpenters, electricians,  plumbers, painters and roofers that are more higher than the annual income for all occupations. It only means that skilled workers are now more in-demand than other professions there are in the community. Well, it cant be denied, home repairs is a necessity and it can be undone specially when the repairs needed affects us badly from day to day.
I don't read it in the whitepaper. Well, I guess I am just skipped that thing.
Anyway, it is impossible to have a high annual salary of the blue collar than white collar. Why? Because one of the factors affecting the inequal income salary is the degree of education. In our economy, intelligence is better than skills. Believe it or not.
In case that there is a high amount of salary in the skilled workers. Probably, it is for the immigrant workers. USA is a developed country, citizens their are graduated in baccalaureate degree and as of now, they are lack of skilled workers and they need them. That's why there is high income salary for skilled workers.
556  Other / Politics & Society / Re: eliminate fake news on: February 20, 2018, 11:13:20 AM
As of now, we are encountering a big problem dealing with the fake news. We cannot differentiate anymore the fake in genuine one. I guess there will become a new project that will tackle to a transparent news. A fair and equal news for all.
557  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's a token ? on: February 19, 2018, 02:36:50 PM
Existing projects are the one who used the tokens. Tokens act as the payment of the participants in order to invest in the ICO. Unlike with fiat currency, every project has their own token identity wherein I think most of them are supported by ERC20 token of ethereum.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Legit ICOs on: February 19, 2018, 02:54:58 AM
First of all, this thread must not be here. It should be in the alternative cryptocurrency. What the topic discuss here is the bitcoin discussion.
Lastly, you cannot assure an ICO of it is legit or scam because sometimes, though it handled by a good campaign manager and the project seems to be successful, it may be failed.
As long as you did not see that ICO succeed, it may be a scam. I also think that the developer is not be the basis of a legit ICO but somehow, I make it as my basis.
559  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can we make politics, honest and transparent? on: February 17, 2018, 11:50:40 PM
Switzerland is a good example of a good political system. Power is split. They even don't have a classical president. The president in Switzerland has a term of 4 months if I am not mistaken and then is switched. Even when they have the title of president they don't have more power then regular politicians.
4 months is a short term for a position. The President cannot make a changes in just a few months of his tenure. I don't think it is a good example of good governance but as far as I know, Switzerland is one of the most industrial country and developed country in Europe.
560  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can we make politics, honest and transparent? on: February 17, 2018, 11:17:48 PM
It is not about blockchain technology, it is a matter of public accountability. No matter how transparent the blockchain technology you have made if the politicians are corrupt, they will make a way just to gain money by their own power.
It will lessen the graft and corruption if the people in position are accountable in their service.
