Like, I don't want to start a race war or anything, but why is it that almost every year Hollywood chooses a movie about blacks bein' persecuted for an Oscar nod?
Am I the only one who thinks it's kind of racist to always highlight black culture and history as slavery and servitude?
Can't we give accolades to a black themed movie that's NOT about slavery or the "civil rights era"?
sorry if movies about the history of this country offends you I'm not offended at all. But I would be if I were black, because these films represent nothing but black shortcomings throughout American history. It's a very clear picture. Blacks are either an underclass of slaves for white people, or they are servants for white people, or they need the help of whites to get a proper education because they're abandoned by their own mothers and fathers. If you were black, is this how you would like your race to be represented by Hollywood? Does anyone have any pride anymore? no it wouldn't because i went to a pretty good private school the best my parents could afford when it came time to talk about the history of this countries enslavement murder rape and torture of black people they about summed it up in 2 pages so i actually enjoy (for lack of a better word) watching and learning how people of that day and time suffered and how it came to be that black people were thought of as lower then animals but that's just me but i do know my experience is isn't the one sorry they cant cater movies to your delicate sensibilities |

If you look at my trust rating I have done many trades, involving small to large amounts of btc, so if you are willing to send first I think we could work something out.
