541  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN hits £3k on: September 27, 2017, 11:40:58 AM
My advice: Sit tight and wait for cheaper prices Wink Maybe in few weeks we will see another pullback towards 2500 level.

Are you really damn serious about what you are speaking about?
We ought to see the prices above and you are saying that it may dump down back? Don't you think that the OP should ride the current swings of the markets? I see no obstacles for Bitcoins to reach 4500 and that could give them 10% easily over their investment. They may sell and wait for November to kick in and buy back (only) if the price pulls back itself towards downside.
542  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin starts to rise on: September 26, 2017, 01:32:01 PM
I think a new dawn has finally come in the life of Bitcoins as it started back gaining to its deserving values, now those who sold cheap under the panic pressure have proved themselves to be weaker hands and I want to thank them for opting out of Bitcoins because they will now cry hard when it will be crossing the 5k mark once again. Many who bought even above 4500 sold below 3500, they are stupendous [/sarcasm]  Grin
Thank you for the cheap coins, you dumb sellers.
543  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull trap? Or price going back to 4k for real? on: September 26, 2017, 01:15:18 PM
I think that Bitcoin's taking its turn now as if it would have been a bull trap, BTC couldn't have held up to the price of 3750 and would have been dumped suddenly as no movements were seen in the markets but it chose to go bullish and trends show that the price is definitely going towards bullish end, so without thinking wrongly just watch out the price breaking 4k in a matter of hours.
544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin growth again, what to do? on: September 26, 2017, 12:59:25 PM
It looks correct time to buy Bitcoins currently as BTC is in correction mode and price has since consolidated with much better volume in the previous 2 days and the hold above 3750 was exceptional. Though it seems an opportunity gone to buy it ~8-10% lower, you may still purchase it and sit tight till the end of this year and see the magic! It may blow up the 7500 levels soon after December kicks in.
545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best exchanges to sell Bitcoin on: September 26, 2017, 11:50:31 AM
So Far, I have been using two exchanges for more than a year, Bittrex and Poloniex and never been encountered or lost coins with them, although admittedly they do have some support problems as sometimes took days and need further follow ups to twitter before doing an action although the problem still solved, what I been always doing is that always enabled 2FA, some sort of added security.

Never encountered any problems? Where were you when there was a DDoS attack at Polo?
I lost my altcoins (not BTC because I didn't have any in my account at that time) and many complained they lost their Bitcoins too, that's a different thing that they managed to get out of the attack without any harm to the capital of their users and credited our accounts back in 48 - 72 hours.
I think that if OP manages to be a bit more careful and feasibly does his transactions to the correct exchange address and uses it, then there shouldn't be a problem of a hack. Use Localbitcoins if you feel so scared about going for online deals because that allows you to go for cash transactions too and you may find people who are already in your trust circle.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / SC to double in a month? on: September 25, 2017, 06:24:28 PM
Hello everyone,
I came to know from a group of traders and analysts that SC is looking like a sleeping giant and it is slowly gaining tempo after getting too much dumped in a series of dumps held by whales who got out during the RED days of Polo and Trex. They say that the price is too low compared to many coins that managed to recover too much after those dumps, so what's your take on this guys?
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions about whitepapers on: September 25, 2017, 10:08:08 AM
Whitepapers are something which if read from the originators of it, then it does make sense because when I read translated whitepapers I get confused on too many words for which I need to check back the English whitepaper from the ANN and then translate it into my language on my own. But they really give a glimpse of the originality of their projects they come up with, and we should definitely give some time to understand their perspectives before blindly investing in any ICOs.

549  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcointalk Bounty millionaires. do they exist? on: September 13, 2017, 07:16:12 PM
I don't think millions might have been made through Bounties, but I am so sure that translators are making some extremely huge income through translating those bounty threads and whitepapers and getting big shares which signature people don't get. I secretly checked a few translators' ETH addresses and saw that their bounties are worth more than 10k, some even 15k and this shows that Bitcoin, as well as altcoins, have given everyone a chance to showcase their talent and make as much money as they can. I don't remember the name of that bounty campaign which proposed a Russian translator to be paid $50k for that specific language.

553  Economy / Speculation / Re: Legendary Bitcoin Trader “masterluc” Predicts $15,000 Bitcoin This Year on: August 26, 2017, 07:10:35 PM
If the whole world decides to enter Bitcoins at an extreme level (and it's already being done after media's involvement) and sees it as the best investment "asset" to bet upon, there's nothing that could stop Bitcoins to even cross a million (Satoshi's dream) so 40k - 100k is nothing and if we will surely see $15k this year, I bet there will be many who must be crying the hell out of their eyes for they couldn't resist selling off.
554  Economy / Speculation / Re: where is the mother of all spikes? MOAS! on: August 26, 2017, 06:53:56 PM
MOAS huh? Cool name tbh, after all, many people have now started using abbreviations to compress their so-called innovations after SMAS came into existence.
OP, we are already in a big spike (won't you call it a spike when you are up >300% the price where it was) but the difference is, it exploded the hell out every time just because there was no base below to carry the load that comes every time someone presses that big shitty "RED" button but we are now ready to simply see the price fluctuations go low and march towards newer highs because now, not just the smaller people but the big billionaire boys are also investing into this gigantic experiment that turned out into an incredible asset.
555  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hoping for Bitcoin to drop on: August 26, 2017, 06:38:29 PM
Aha! Someone is really tempted to buy our coins hell cheap huh!
You know what, OP? I am sorry to extinguish the light of hopes you had in your heart but you will not be able to see a 1/3rd price reduction just because you need it. There's no way back for Bitcoins because Japan and Korea are strongly purchasing it and making it even more costly for you and everyone here, so it's better you buy them atm at these rates while you still can and keep them with yourself and wait till it doubles. Or try your hands on alts, maybe your intention get satisfied after doing that.

A lot are hoping for the drop so they can make a cheap buy on bitcoin, but the price is going stable towards up and nothing can surely stop the price from rising instead of the bad news affecting the value of it, of a massive sell out of fear, but for now there is no commotion of some sort and we are steadily sailing the sea of calmness towards rising.

The only thing that is affecting Bitcoins real hard and stopping it from going above 5k is the fear among users:
Fear of miners switching to BCH
Fear of SegWit2x
Fear of another possible hard fork if the above happens
Fear of fee

Unless all this drama settles, it won't get where it should actually be. Rather than all these, there's nothing much bad with bitcoins and it's going up steadily which is something everyone likes, just see the charts and you will understand why I said that.
556  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of Bitcoin by 2018? on: August 26, 2017, 06:22:25 PM
If SegWit2x gets applied and becomes successful (and only if they don't go for a fork with some another BitShitCash), then we may see 10k until the end of next year because if you can calculate, Bitcoin rose over 300% this year from its price as it was under $1000 during January and is currently growling near 4200. If this drama gets settled without SW2x, then I think we may see 8k max during next year but we don't know what may happen as IT IS FUTURE in the end.
557  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cashing out could destroy crypto? on: August 26, 2017, 06:17:55 PM
It couldn't destroy bitcoins but is actually an advantageous thing for Bitcoins, not the mindset of people obviously but everyone buying it. At least they are "BUYING" it with a hope of getting something over it which is also not a bad thing tbh. Mindset would be changed only if Bitcoin starts being used as a currency but that's never going to happen anytime soon because of its super-liquid properties that will stop any country or governments, or if we want that to happen we need to have governments regulate this and there ends the "decentralization" part, so what will be the use of Bitcoins then? Valuation in Fiat is actually devaluating fiat against Bitcoins and making Bitcoins stronger against any currency or assets which show that it may not become a global currency but a super-strong asset anyone can bet on.
558  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bank Interest VS Bitcoin profits on: August 26, 2017, 05:14:18 PM
The decision he made to invest in Bitcoins at such prices was a great decision.
He waited till the price rise, that was awesome too.
But he sold at 1k? Must be crying hard atm and thinking how stupid he must have been for not waiting a bit more to have his profits ten folded.
Anyways, it is said that better late than never so ask him to be very careful next time he decides to take such decisions.

560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The OFFICIAL SegWit Activation Thread on: August 26, 2017, 12:57:14 PM
I think this thread is going to become very, very big because SegWit is a huge milestone in the history of Bitcoin, really, this month is a big leap forward for crypto in general and we should all be proud. Smiley

Yes, it will become really huge with a lot of questions from those who had been stuck due to those spam attacks as well as the lower fee that they used to try to confirm their transactions but they couldn't. I am still seeing the current number of unconfirmed transactions increasing only and there should be something major to be done as I have seen just one mining group which mined the first SegWit block, so a question arose in my mind that why the other miners are unable to? Do they need to adapt the new technology or need to implement or change something?
