541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: January 14, 2017, 10:37:07 PM
my win rate currently only 60%, is difficult to maintain high ratio >< Grin

So that means your winning percentages is still higher than the losing percentage, right? It is awesome bro. It is hard to keep wining and wining like what you are doing in gambling. You must be an expert in gambling. How many Bitcoin have you obtained from gambling ?

Yes that's obvious that his ratio in winning is higher than losing. Amazing stats he got there, I can't even have to make my winning percentage up to 40% but this guy got higher than half of the percentage in his winning. I am also curious on how many did already earned from gambling and what games he is typically playing.
actually gambling give hope expectation to those people who do not know any skill and they do not have any proper job or business, they consider gambling one of the easiest way of making money but in fact when they invest money here then they understand the reality of bitcoin and most of the time they lose money .
to me i think those people who play gambling for making money and they want to depend on gambling for life then they are really lazy people who cannot start any business or even they cannot do any kind of job.
542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: January 14, 2017, 10:33:12 PM
Hey people,

I've always been a huge gambler. I like creating useless schemes (as we all know bank always win ^^) and betting whole nights long in order to find THE right way of betting.
But I need change, I can't bet over and over on the same game cause after I see that nothing can be done to change the odds, I'm bored.

So I thought a bit about trading and I started not so long ago. and it feels a bit like a betting game without knowing the odds and with an infinity of parameters!

Does anyone else takes trading as a gambling game? Smiley

No,I don't consider trading as gambling. They are not same fully.Because trading doesn't need luck but gambling needs luck.Trading depends on your skill, experience, knowledge  but gambling won't help you for these. So,I don't takes trading as a gambling.
Agree! And trading is more on patience; we need more patience in trading because before we earn money, it will really take time and effort just to achieve our goals.

I kind of agree with that but i think trading also in a way is affected by luck. Though not as much as when you play dice where you are entirely reliant in it. Trading not only need patience but knowing the right timing. So for me while luck is the main factor when it comes to most gambling games, for trading it's experience. The more time you spend in trading the more you will be exposed to the movements of altcoins and the more you'll learn how to effectively time when to buy and sell
yes that is a fact that in trading although you are depending yon your luck but still if you have some experience in trading then you can increases the chances of your winning. while gambling totally depend on your luck.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Controlling your temper in gambling on: January 14, 2017, 10:29:01 PM
I am agree with your all points, especially, the third one is suit me. Actually, i always play gambling with a small capital. Because if i lose than i can take care myself, but if i win than it is too good for me. But in gambling we should control our greedy than definitely temper will be on control.
yes that is the right decision to play gambling with a small amount that you can bear to lose. because in gambling there is more chances to lose your money, so if you even lost the limited money then it will not hurt you.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best way to quit gambling for good on: January 14, 2017, 10:23:55 PM

- Want to quit gambling, only to rely on willpower and yourself
- God does not help you that only you can help you
- Please reduce the duration and number of play until no longer want to play, it is the best way

The third one is just weird, there is no way that someone could reducethe duration. Gambling is not a game and there is no fixed time where you could have choosen how many hour that you will play. It totally depends on the mood, if you keep on winning however you got no mood in it then you would stop and even worse when you keep losing yet you still want to keep on playing
But if someone plan from the beginning that he will lay only for that particular time then he will be able to gamble only for that time and will not go the whole time following the mood. Those people who are not addicted to gambling often leave the game in the mid after they come to know that they have played enough.
first it is really difficult for a person to stop gambling when he become addicted. and secondly if he is not addicted still he will only quit gambling that will be out of money at all or he may have find some day job.
545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: January 14, 2017, 10:15:36 PM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?

It is because we are targeting higher amount in short period of time with less investment, but probably the fair chances will always be 1:100 in between that we don't know when we will win, we will concentrate only higher returns and bothering about how much we are loosing.
actually we expect more from gambling because gambling looks to me one of the most easiest way of making money. therefore we expect more from gambling and when we start playing gambling there the situation becomes change. so we try again again and so become addicted.
546  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? on: January 14, 2017, 10:12:14 PM
I experience this twoo but in my experience trading is much more safer than gambling that they both risk money, In trading you can minimize how much you spend to grow , also in gambling but you can't sure your profit in gambling in trading you can assured your profit in short term of trading.

I too believe that trading is better than gambling for the above mentioned reason. Skill based gambling too is risky, because however perfect we make strategy finally we are supposed to depend upon luck. So all time gambling is just a do or die game to risk for an earning.
actually in trading there is very little concern of skill and experience in gambling, while trading is mostly based on knowledge, skill and your trading experience therefore i will also prefer trading.
yes in gambling you do not need any skill and experience because you totally depending on your luck, while in trading your skill your luck and your previous experience can also play important part in your success.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: January 14, 2017, 10:10:04 PM
When I start gambling pre planned then I can have control on my gambling but if I just start gambling at the free time of me and do not plan from the beginning then I continue to gamble. But this do not happen mostly. I often plan from the start and so have control on me while gambling.
i think it is one of the most difficult job to control yourself while playing gambling, my personal experience is that tried my best for so many time but cannot succeeded to control my self while playing gambling.
548  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: January 13, 2017, 11:38:04 PM
You should not invest it at all because why should you, with holding it for a long term you can maybe become a rich man.
Its for Security purposes because we do not know how will be the money value tomorrow but for me,
My strategy will be if I have 15 bitcoins I will sell all the coin when the bitcoin hits 1k$ and instead of buying bitcoins back with the cash I will buy some property or gold.

Though, Property is the best option.
Gambling- No, Never I'm not going to bet my bitcoins because its high risk and I don't want to lose such big amount.

Forex- I had a partner who does Forex trading but no I'm not going to invest in this too.

And yes I will use 1 Bitcoin for my personal use.
to me i think the best option is to hold it and not to use it any where because the price of bitcoin is increasing from time to time and still there good potential in the price of bitcoin therefore i think you should hold bitcoin and not to invest it anywhere.
549  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: January 13, 2017, 11:25:39 PM
Those people just want other bitcoin holders to get panic and start selling their bitcoins so that they can buy it much cheaper. Those who spread rumours about bitcoins know the original potential of bitcoins. They know there are lots of new traders who get panic often and sell bitcoins quickly. Bitcoin has crossed lots of criticism successfully. So its better to avoid paying attention to such stupid posts.

I totally agree with the "ignoring" part of your post. Someone should always ignore such things if they already know that bitcoin has got so much potential and that it cannot just die like that. So the persons says that bitcoin is dead or going to die are probably the ones who are owning other currencies or the ones who are trying to spread rumors to drop the market.
yes they want the price to down and they can get opportunities to buy bitcoin in lower price but now people tend is change they are not going for panic selling even if the price of bitcoin is taking correction. people like to hold and to go for panic selling.
550  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: January 13, 2017, 11:19:50 PM
Just go for the bitcoin its good and also has a good future plus its profitable on more terms than gold too.
yes my first choice will also be bitcoin. actually gold cannot give me such profit that bitcoin can, although bitcoin is more risky as compare to gold bit if you are not taking risk you even cannot invest make any profit therefor i will always prefer bitcoin.
551  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: January 13, 2017, 11:17:30 PM
It seems there are bad news all around with doom and gloom. Trade figures going down, jobs cuts, security situation not going well, and bad loans.

Is the economy situation in your country that dismal? Or this is just some fear mongering?

Well at this time,i can say the economy here is in a way steady. Not plunging nor blooming. There are certain industries here that are keeping the economy afloat like tourism and remittances from people working overseas. It's actually in a better situation than a couple of years ago but as i've said, i can't really call it strong and booming, just steady.
in my country we are facing a little bit problems regarding economic situation. but hope that very soon we will overcome the panic and we will get some stability in our economic conditions.
same is the condition in my country, we are also facing some economic problems which is effecting the development of the country. i think the government shoud take some positive steps to over come these problems.
552  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of Bitcoin change more than traditional currencies? on: January 13, 2017, 11:13:40 PM
Bitcoin is a decentralised currency and not controlled by anyone. So it is subject to price fluctuations. But fiat is totally controlled by the respective governments. So, when there is a chance of great fall in fiat price, the respective governments change their policies to control the price fall. So, fiat prices does not change more like bitcoin.

That's not true, fiat currencies fall pretty often too. If you'd look through past history you'd see that almost every country had a period of inflation at one point. Right now it's Venezuela where their currency, Venezuelan Bolívar, losing its buying capacity faster than BTC in 2014.
Yes fiat currencies do change big time either from inflation, recession, depression, etc. Printing of fiat currencies from thin air by the governments, is actually one such moves to counter price falls, but which most often end up creating more problems than the much it aimed to solve. Bitcoin however is limited in supply and its decentralized nature leaves it responding to changing market forces.
to me actually more and more people are entering in the field of bitcoin and they are investing their assets here which increase the demand of bitcoin which ultimately increase the price of bitcoin.
553  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: January 13, 2017, 11:07:18 PM
i am sure that bitcoin will be used by everyone in 2022 because bitcoin getting too much popularity day by day and a lot of people adopting bitcoin in huge amount and people are getting awareness quickly about bitcoin so i hope bitcoin will be used worldwide in the future.
I really doubt that people in villages who don't have a computer or people in reservations or Amis will use bitcoin is 3 years. It's silly to think that bitcoin is going be used by everyone in 5 years. By the around calculation bitcoin will be used by 1 mlrd of people in general.
very honestly it is really difficult that in 2022 all the people of the world will start using bitcoin. to me i think it will hardly 3% of people may be start using bitcoin, because it is a fact that in most of the backward area people may even not be able to use computer and get the facility of internet.
554  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: January 13, 2017, 11:03:50 PM
Does anyone have any idea how many people are using gold as a store of value vs btc?  And how long do you think until we have the same user Base as holders of gold?

I am afraid that Bitcoin will never manage to attract as many users as gold. Gold is being used by billions of individuals around the world, as an asset. Bitcoin will never be able to attract that many users.
actually those people who want to save their money so they prefer gold. as gold has a very stable price whereas those people who want to invest thie money and make some profit so these people will invest their money in bitcoin for from where they can make good profit.
555  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: January 13, 2017, 11:01:28 PM
Earning from online advertising such as youtube and other video streaming sites, blogs are kind of passive income source, where you do work once and it keeps earning income via advertising (of course quality of content matters).

Yes this is a sure passive income especially if you are a video maker and it manages to got thousands of views monthly or possible when it got viral it can go to millions. Passive money will be just credited to you and once your videos are already on the trend you need to take the advantage and keep on making videos again and again.

Many of the people are trying to earn through youtube videos but most of the people are not successful. I could say bitcoin related works like altcoin creation or bitcoin signature designing or web designing will provide the more income without the luck and you get the income only by your skills.

What you said is correct out of 10 only 2 or 3 can earn through passive income like video making and referral activity balance 7 persons have to work to earn and for that if you have signature designing , web designing, logo designing like this their are lot of skill work if you know then you can earn good.
many people who earn passive income by using youtube. Well, to make a simple video can make us a lot of money. but, you just need to really take advantage of social media to try to share a video that you made, that has a lot of spectators. it will make you earn quite a lot. Essentially, do not ever give up to make it to be amazing.

Just like what they have said, very few are becoming successful with it. I admire those people that are earning millions of bucks monthly and attracts a lot of viewers to their channel. If you just know pewdiepie he is earning a lot with it. He did made his passion of making videos into a hardly earning videos.
i have a friend here in my area he is a website developer and is also hiring hosting for people. he is really making good passive profit from advertisement and from face book also.

557  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is anyone interested in learning how to trade bitcoin for a living? on: January 10, 2017, 07:37:21 PM
I have tried my best to learn and finally after some big losses I have learnt how to trade. Trade is like playing poker you cannot learn from others, they can tell you specific things but the basics you have to learn alone.
yes in fact for becoming a good trader you need to have to invest a small amount of bitcoin. you alslo need to spend a good time in trading so that you can get a good experience. you can also get tips from an expert person.
558  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: January 10, 2017, 07:34:45 PM

Unpredicable job?
Yes of course.
But it is finaly easy...it goes up or down...just chose the right one...(lol)

Nah mate, it is not that easy to predict and choose on what prediction you have,  and choose what is the right one dude, you need knowledge to have and earn more in trading, you have to read more and have background on it not just risking without nothing..

yeh it is not easy to predict crypto markets for example there are many big whales or pro traders who can manipulate markets and you can not anything, that time you can only watch the price and can hope that if you would have sold those coins earlier or bought than it would be nice etc etc.
i think it is not so easy to manipulate the price of bitcoin, to manipulate the price of bitcoin you need to have a big big amount of bitcoin which is not so easy, to me i think not a single country can even manipulate the price of bitcoin.
559  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which trading method is better? on: January 10, 2017, 06:42:40 PM
i think everyone has their own way of trading according to their skill, education and experience, to me my best way of trading is that i always start from investing a small amount in start and after that i gradually increase my investment from time to time.
Trading and education does not necessarily correlate with each other, just experience and skill alone can make a good fortune in the trading world and if you are planning to earn a good amount of money make sure you are investing your money in the right coins.
yes that is right but i think if you are well educated and specially your education is about trading then it can also helpful to you. and secondly your luck is also play important role in your success in trading.
560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which trading exchange is more safe ?? on: January 10, 2017, 06:33:39 PM
I want trade with my m obile .
but herey trade now growth into 0.4 btc .
Now , According to the history of exchange yobit.net & poloniex
which out of them you will suggest .
Because I heard something more complicated like ddos attack , is this true .
Now between these two which is more secure and handleable for my mobile .
You should go for poloniex instead of yobit.net. They offering maximum security and advanced trading. So when you comes to finding the best bitcoin exchange  there poloniex will no #1
to me i think all exchange are good, trusted and reliable. i personally using yobit and i think still never face any misunderstanding related to my transaction or any other buying and selling activities. it remain very smooth all the time.
