541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why IEO? on: August 02, 2019, 11:58:39 PM
Why most of the projects these days prefer IEO over ICO? , what were the lacks in ICOs that crypto needs IEO? What should we choose as an investor? Which has lower risk?
They all have their respective advantages and disadvantages. I will personally choose any, particularly if it has what a good project with long term prospect has.
The way to get into IEO is when you are one of the early investors.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Cryptocurrency Movies You Need To See on: August 02, 2019, 11:56:33 PM
The rate at which cryptocurrency is receiving audience these days is quite alarming, which I feel it is a good development. A lot of times, prominent people, particularly world leaders have also given credence to it and also acknowledge the potential it has.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Governments against privacy-oriented cryptocurrencies on: July 14, 2019, 10:18:23 PM
Governments are concerned about seeing how transactions are done. Block chain technology is meant to be transparent, so doing that which hinders a lot of info, shows that their concern is being affected and it is not meeting their demands. With such happening, there will be a lot of condemnations from them
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any bounty to suggest? on: July 14, 2019, 10:17:15 PM
The projects I participate in are good, but I can't guarantee you 100% that it is perfect and that it will be good for you. So you will need to do your own research, at least to be confident of what you want to do.
Sometimes it also helps you to know the worth and to manage it effectively well.
545  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: About Merit on: July 14, 2019, 10:16:00 PM
What you have just done @OP is against the guide lines of ranking up. You should not beg for merit, rather you should work for it?
The type of posts you make will determine if you  will be eligible for merit or not.
So always try to make meaningful posts that are helpful and exudating.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think of ETH Price will be by end of 2020? on: July 14, 2019, 10:04:52 PM
The year 2020 is still a long way from here, which means that it is possible for ethereum to have grown by about x5 what its base price might be from now. For this year a lone, I am predicting that ethereum might reach at least $700, whivhb is possible.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Reign is nowhere near its end! on: July 14, 2019, 10:02:20 PM
So many coins are looking forward to listing g on Binance unlike other exchanges. Most of the time when you see people demand for exchange listing, you will see them asking "when Binance?" This shows that a lot of people of people still believe in Binance and project teams are looking for ways to be on it. Binance is still relevant.
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trump's statement against cryptocurrency on: July 14, 2019, 09:51:27 PM
I am not surprised that Trump had to say that. A lot of people have also made their opinions kniwn?. Trump has his own business and he might feel that it will affect his business.
No one can drag cryptoccurrence dow the drain. No one can take away from it, most especially from where it placed for now.
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs. Big Companies on: July 14, 2019, 09:35:04 PM
There is nothing impossible. If such will happen, it will not be an easy task, because ethereum has it is, is already established. All the coins listed are just upcoming, so they have a long way to go and a lot to do before they can surpass ethereum.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaigns deceiving hunters by changing rules? Read this! on: July 14, 2019, 09:27:53 PM
There have been several bounties that acted odd, still I changing rules at the of the bounty or projects that ended up being scam.
The same happened to CWEX. This people ended the campaign and send another form to bounty for verification purpose, yet their sole aim of being scammers was revealed.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from online mobile wallets with no backup phrase on: July 11, 2019, 01:45:52 PM
Not all mobile wallets have backup ,just because they are available for your smartphone doesnt mean they are reliable
Do not use mobile wallets with just username and passwords ,they are called online wallets ,they have no backup phrase or private keys.
For example I lost my bitcoin to xapo wallet since 2018 and they denied me of my coins after sending them mails.
That is quite unfortunate. Although, i have been in the crypto space for quite some time now and i never knew and cared about this.
Most if the times, we clamour to have mobile wallets, but which sometimes can be used against one.
Some even promise to airdrop and tell you to download their wallets. Out of every 100 persons that download it, 5 of them might be noob and go ahead to store their coins on them.
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SUMCOIN: Possibly the dumbest altcoin out there. on: July 09, 2019, 10:18:46 PM
@OP, you might be saying that because if your experience with then and I have not had such odd encounter and of course, I do not know how true and authentic that info it. Also there are lots of coins with such attributes in the crypto space, which is why I am not so surprised.
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Libra on: July 09, 2019, 10:12:14 PM
If Facebook as popular as it is, could not protect the data of its users and carelessly allowed it to be stolen by some internet fraudsters, what then does it want to sell.
Whatever it intends to do as regards the libra coin, will require that users submit their personal details in the name if kyc.
Considering this, how then will I agree that it is better that bitcoin?
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or is the market dominance of BTC dangerously high? on: July 09, 2019, 10:05:25 PM
It is really surprising to see the dominance of bitcoin growing and I began to wonder if alts will really grow as supposed.
The only thing I can deduce from here is that, altcoins will grow, but not all, until the dominance reduces.
The alts that will grow will only do that, because they are providing reasonable solutions through their products.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of tokens that did not update their Bitcointalk thread on: July 09, 2019, 09:58:23 PM
Projects in general have different channels on which they are active. Although I know it is always expected that every project that want to make it big and intends to get the attention of crypto enthusiasts, should utilize the BTT forum effectively, being the first crypto discussion forum. Well, they might be getting more attention elsewhere and that not withstanding, it is not the best.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DESICO IS A SCAM on: July 09, 2019, 09:54:36 PM
These people (team) who named their project Desico, are still out their peddling their project and other scam projects along side. It is better they are stopped and brought to book.
I thought I could still trust them at a point, but I discovered that they are pure scammers. I just pity those who are  falling victim of such project.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC Requirement for Bounty Managers before they require KYC to bounty hunters. on: July 06, 2019, 10:53:08 PM
Well, even if bounty manager will jot make the kyc they have done public for people to confirm, I still believe in past successful projects and integrity. Integrity us very important, because it is what will keep a going manger going and not the kyc he has done.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: noteworthy altcoins for investment? on: July 06, 2019, 10:50:21 PM
I have been more focused on new projects that already existing ones in the crypto space. If you are looking forth to seeing a development with a new product and sometimes with better use cases, then you should think of considering new projects.
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am very Pro Dogecoin – Says Ethereum Co-founder, Vitalik Buterin on: July 06, 2019, 10:48:33 PM
Whatever support that is being offers to Give coin now is meant to make i t more popular and not only that, it has the tendency to pump. This is what we all know and if Vitalik is airing his view about it, which ought to have happened long time ago, I means there is something that will favour him around it.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to choose only one altcoin, which one it would be? on: July 03, 2019, 09:58:22 PM
Imagine you had to choose only one altcoin for your bag. I can't decide between GRAM, LAW and Libra. The last one is the most questionable: it's popular because of FB but I heard it won't be profitable because of its features of stable coin. GRAM and LAW are great because of its technologies but they are not as popular as Libra. So...yeah that is my problem...And what is your choice?

I do not think that it is right now to argue about those projects that are still at the stage of conversations and are not being traded on exchanges. I would choose between real projects - now I am personally interested in NEO, HUOBI TOKEN and BINANCE. And if we talk about projects that have fallen heavily in price and could have brought more profit, I would especially single out ICON (ICX)!
I just did a background check on ICON and i discovered that it is still very much around its base. Therefore, there is so much opportunity now, most especially for those who have the fund. There are also several other coins that have the same pattern of growth and at the same time, are promising.
