Regardless of how you feel about the various poker sites, competition is always a good thing.

If you think SatoshiPoker = competition, you're crazy.
What has caused so much anger that you spend so much time every day trying to tell people we suck?

Well you do. It's a simple fact. Why you suck, I don't know. Why ask me? It's not my fault, is it?
Will you stop trolling the gambling section?

I vouch for SP...

Their software is CLEAN.....

The first instance of satoshipoker.org in my logs is your spamming the URL on IRC on April 24th apparently prior to the creation of this thread on Bitcointalk.

You also use the same IP...

I can vouch for them because I know one of the owners personally.

I am helping satoshipoker.org out with its marketing. That might be why you see me "spamming" when really all I am doing is announcing news to the community.

Sorry if I caused a disturbance.
544  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Bitcoin Pride - Bitcoin Shirts - Announcing Weekly Dividends on: April 27, 2013, 10:57:10 PM
One of the issues that we have been experiencing @ BitPride has been excessive book-keeping due to our weekly dividend schedule, thus effectively consuming most of the businesses time and money.

Thank you but I guess I'll have to be the dick here and ask some hard questions.

BitPride has never had weekly dividends. No 2 dividends have ever been paid in 8 days time frame.

Also, the P&L statement we get to see is 1 table with no details. And there is no P&L statement for the last dividend payment since... there are no numbers since 14 April. If it took you time to get it done, why not share it with us too?

It shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes a day to figure out the cashflow situation of that day.
i. How many orders have come in - the total amount earned.
ii. How many orders have been fulfilled.
iii. How much new inventory has to be bought. What was the cost of that inventory.

Why this much takes you so long a time is something hard to understand.

I would appreciate instead of making this an excuse that you let us know the real hardships faced. Maybe some of us can be of help.

You're having problems fulfilling orders, ask people about it. If you've never done P&L and cashflow management before - ask someone over here and they can guide you.

I like that you listen and take action. But asking the right questions and knowing when you need help is equally important.
Wisard, it's important to note that even though we have been a bit late (due to volume), we are current on ALL of our dividend payouts.

If you look at the P&L statements and the corresponding dates you will see that last weeks payments were combined.

We will have the numbers out from 4/14-4/26 soon.

I have been in the process (as I said a few posts before) of setting up new fulfillment partnerships with local printers so that we can streamline the process and cut time & money. We intend to automize 90% of the business, and when we do we may approach weekly dividends once again.

Thank you again for your continued patience.

Share price isn't doing particularly well, FlipPro.  What's the deal, brother?  Any updated financial statements for April?
Financial statements are all out. There is 1 report pending for the last dividend payout.

Hope that helps. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8jhaL_imOkwS0Zkai1TdW1NQVU/edit?usp=sharing
546  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Bitcoin Pride - Bitcoin Shirts - Announcing Weekly Dividends on: April 27, 2013, 11:45:31 AM
Hello BTC Talk,

I am pleased to announce that we are now caught up with 75% of our orders and we would like to thank all of you for your continued patience and cooperation. One of the issues that we have been experiencing @ BitPride has been excessive book-keeping due to our weekly dividend schedule, thus effectively consuming most of the businesses time and money. This is unsustainable because the orders are coming in from many different places (online and locally), and because of this we require real humans to organize prints, interact with clients, and fulfill all of these orders in a timely and professional manner. This forces resources to constantly be placed in one area of the company leaving every other area briefly unattended. For this reason we have decided effective immediately to halt weekly dividend payments, and begin to send them out on monthly basis like originally planned in the virtual offering. This will allow us to prioritize all of our t-shirt & Bitcoin orders (important for our continued longevity), and give us the opportunity to put the focus back on our customers. This does not mean smaller payouts, and if anything it may actually help us by putting the focus back on the things that matter the most so that we can begin to grow our profits on a more consistent basis. What this absolutely means for us is reduced accounting costs, and increased productivity in customer service and the product development departments of our company. We appreciate all of your questions and concerns and will be ready to answer any questions you may have.

Thank You

548  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Announcing: Bitcoin Pride - T Shirts & Memorabilia on: April 22, 2013, 04:30:18 PM
I ordered 5 t-shirts a couple of months back and recieved my package promptly, there were some problems using the site, I gave some feedback and atleast a part of the issues were fixed. If I remember correct it took about 2 weeks to get them tome in europe, finland. Sadly when I opened the package it turned out that three of the five shirts were not the ones I had ordered. I contacted FlipPro here and he offered to take a return on the unwanted shirts, pay my shipping cost and send the correct ones. But this did not make sense for either one of us as I had allready been robbed for 24% VAT at customs, so after some discussion we agreed that I would keep these shirts and recieve a dicount code for my next purchase, which I got. I was satisfied with this. But as I have not been able to succesfully use the code for a month nor gotten any replies trough here or the site contact for two weeks I feel I have to make this post, I do it with a heavy heart: I would suggest steering clear of the site for now, the much advertised free shipping option does not work, thus rendering the discount code I got prettymuch worthless and the site has numerous other issues also, mostly going trough the order process seems to work fairly randomly. I will update this post if or when my problem is resolved.

FlipPro please respond to me so I can delete this smudge.

Isokivi, I am working really hard to rectify all outstanding issues @Bitpride and I'm even hiring extra people to help me out with fulfillment issues and response times to our clients.

Please PM me so we can get your discount code issue rectified.

We are going to be rolling out with much fairer shipping schematics in the next few days shipping will now go by weight instead of a flat rate, I will update the forum when this happens.

We fixed the free shipping issue and it should be working now. Orders of 5 items or more ($100) should get free shipping.

Please let us know if there is any other issues with the site.
549  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Watch out for BitcoinPride! on: April 21, 2013, 10:34:50 PM
I ordered from BitcoinPride, a t-shirt store owned by our very own FlipPro, a couple weeks ago and have yet to receive the "confirmation email" that I was supposed to within 24-48 hours.
After trying to call their phone listed on the website (which only tells you to enter an extension, without any indication of what extension I should enter) as well as emailing the owner of the domain, still no response.
Then I made a post on reddit. If you're interested see here
http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1cmkjq/scam_alert_bitcoinpridecom/

After other people described their troubles, the reddit account "BitcoinPride" shows up and claims it was just "server errors" and we should be getting a call/email in the next 24-72 hours.
Still nothing.

Keep your BTC away!
Hey Fussy we just migrated our business server after having severe technical issues during our record week (site should be back up now)... It has been a nightmare. We have all the orders, and already have a few shipped. We should be sending out rest of the tracking numbers within the next 24-48 hours, and make us current on all outstanding orders. This is the first and last time we will fall behind on orders, and are already rectifying the several points of failure that we experienced over the last few weeks. We simply weren't ready for the level of volume/attention that was brought on by the Reddit ad and Bloomberg TV plug.

Again my sincerest apologies for all the delays, and lack of communication.

-Flip

P.S Fussy if you want send me a PM and we can discuss this. We no longer have the 1800 listed on our site, as it was referring people to a message box instead of our office phone. We are looking for a solution with that, in the mean time we will be implementing a support ticket solution in case we miss anyone. I will be announcing more of this on the forum in the hours/days to come.

CURRENT P&L REPORT FOR @BITPRIDE

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8jhaL_imOkwS0Zkai1TdW1NQVU/edit?usp=sharing

--------

We apologize for the delays.. We have been extremely busy filling orders, and integrating several new features to our website.

Congratulations to the winner of the design contest for winning $325 prize.

Look out for his T-Shirt coming soon for sale at our store!

Because of the wild fluctuating price we have removed the buy now cart, and instead are using a web form for all BTC related purchases. This allows us to communicate to our customers directly and set up deals that are more beneficial for the company. Because of the increased attention we want to direct our focus to our customers and ensure that all outstanding orders are filled.

Please stay tuned for more updates!

-Flip

Can you put up the P&L and the sales numbers so that folks can valuate it and figure out for themselves if 0.00004BTC per share is worth it or not?
Sorry for the delays on the P&L's. We have 2 weeks worth of reports on the way.

Thanks for all the patience folks. We are excited to have all of you by our side during this explosive growth.

Sorry guys! I had family fly in town and the dividend was taking longer to calculate due to an EXTREME increase in demand for both Bitcoins and TShirts...

I will be releasing the dividends shortly.

Again sorry for the pause in communication.
556  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Design Contest Win $300 Prize on: March 15, 2013, 10:34:49 PM
This is what you are agreeing to on the site (I seperated the sentences so it becomes barely more readable):

Quote

This is an untenable contract. You demand people not use their work for 90 days, when they have neither assigned any copyright or license to you, nor entered into any compensated arrangement. Unenforceable.

You want to sue people for "prior use"? So the person that uploaded the "rendered bitcoin logo" (who is most certainly not the creator) in some way gives you the ability to sue reddit or other places it was used, or even sue the uploader or creator for their own prior use of the artwork?

You can change anything at any time? So after you get stuff uploaded to your site you can change the terms, like the contest reward is now 0.0001 BTC and everything uploaded becomes "selected" and the copyright is transferred to you, or even easier, "anything previously uploaded is now ours to use in perpetuity"?

Hell no. I recommend people stick to what they've been doing, uploading the copyrighted works of others. Domain providers like to take down not just domains, but entire domain accounts, when they get DMCA notices.

We simply wish to protect ourselves and all of the other participants. We want to make sure that when we give the winner of the contest $300 in BTC, they do not go and resell the design causing a huge intellectual properties nightmare. We obviously have no plans or desires to sue ANYONE. What we do want is a bit of fairness, if we give someone $300 worth of Bitcoins, we want to make sure that we have exclusive selling rights to the material.  The user can always reject the $300 payment and keep the design for themselves to sell Smiley. It's up to the designer... We will go ahead however and remove some of the more “threatening” language from the agreement.  Thanks for the input.

**Announcing Weekly Dividends**

Starting today BitPride will start paying out weekly dividends!

The first dividend payout today was for 13.01BTC .

Here is BitPrides P&L statement for the weeks 3/1/2013 - 3/8/2013

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8jhaL_imOkwbU1zTlRiclVEWlE/edit?usp=sharing

Expect the next dividend payment to be on 1/18, as we are a bit behind on our accounting due to the high demand and rapid expansion of our site.

We have many new and exciting things going on with the company including a $300 design contest going on here http://bitcoinpride.com/index.php/submit-design.html , an active ad campaign that's showing real results on Reddit and one here on Bitcointalk, and lots of designing and development going on behind the scenes!
