I ask is there anything that gaw could do that would make this all stop?   Even if gaw was to release all the features they " promised" and deliver on everything @gawceo claimed they would,   Would you all fade away in the wind  or find something new to bitch about?

There will always be bitchers, detractors, and "trolls". Few threads on bctalk are immune.

The discussion, here at bctalk, was brought on by Gaw. We could not say anything negative at hashtalk or ask a sensitive question without deletion and banning. Many of us are Gaw investors who were not allowed to speak our minds at hashtalk, hence the anger and frustration.

I believe this thread has prevented innocents from losing money. That's good enough for me.

It's hard to say how much the auction will influence the price. Depends who buys and what they get them for. If they get them cheap enough there could be major dumpage for the quick buck. I'm thinkin I missed out on recycling some at $280. Might go down to $240 - 250.

Why Tor use chains of servers, shouldn't one Tor-node connection suffice if your system is secure?

First off, tor is not secure. There are many exit node exploits. You can find posts here of users who lost btc while using tor.

Secondly, tor is free. You get what you pay for.

This is a good place to promote a vpn service. Many of us use them and many more should be using them. Good luck and thanks for getting back to me.

I thought you had painted your fridge. Pretty clean for a bachelor. You need to buy some milk and eggs.

Glad I got out of GAW a few months back before this PayCoin scam. They might be scamming now, but I actually did pretty well before it started. I am not surprised that people still support him the community is pretty solid over there.

Glad you missed out on losing money.

I have a hard time believing anyone can take a financial beating, like the ones hanging on over at hashtalk, and not be bitter. Lie after lie, broken promise after broken promise, and obvious hype by Gaw to further suck the btc out of them. I don't need to see leaked emails, skype conversations, or SEC papers to know GAW is bad news. Gaw put nail after nail in his own coffin.

What is triple vpn? Are you chaining three different servers together? What would be the purpose? Shouldn't one vpn connection suffice if your system is secure?

How many connections allowed per user?

Would be nice to see screenshots for setting up vpn in English. I don't see linux instructions.

Any bandwidth restrictions?

Thanks.

https://hashtalk.org/topic/33152/calling-all-paycoin-supporters-esp-with-legal-counsel-experience

These guys have to be on the payroll. I threw up a little bit in my mouth reading that thread. Gaw could be ffing their wives right in front of them and they would ask Gaw if he needed more KY.
548  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is there any RISK FREE way to invest your Bitcoins? on: March 04, 2015, 06:46:52 PM
No.

Anyone offering you interest on btc deposits may run away with your money. Vircurex was one such place. Bter offered interest and is currently "hacked".

Delta and Bitsavings have come and gone.

I would not say getting delisted at bittrex a bad thing. Bittrex is a shitcoin exchange and Vert is not a shitcoin.

GUI wallet dl, extracted to desktop, tried with make, start command in terminal cant start it, install file wont work any instructions?

edit: I pressed open not save I gone to source version sorry, I found right file now ziftrcoin-qt how to start it? Some notepad program is associated with this type of file now...

Open a terminal at your ziftrcoin folder location and type    ./ziftrcoin-qt
Some linux file managers will give you the option to mark the file as "executable".
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Announcing ZiftrCOIN Release on: March 02, 2015, 08:25:45 PM
I'll give Ziftr kudos for easy mining. One click mining in linux and mac wallets. Simple mining for the masses.

Sex and the City - the movie
Maybe a slightly controversial choice for a shitty movie but then again I am a guy

What's controversial about that choice? It's not like it's The Godfather.

i challenge anyone to watch this and tell me there's something worse

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2467046/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_11

Yes, that really was terrible. I had no idea what to expect watching it but was like wtf when I did. They're making a sequel to it. I'll watch it for the lulz.

It looked like a pilot for a bad sci-fi channel series. Nick Cage is making some gawdawful movies these days.

Nasty.

Frankenstein for real. No thanks.
554  Other / Off-topic / Re: What email provider do you use? on: February 27, 2015, 09:15:55 PM
I use a few but gmail and zoho stand out for security.

Zoho has no advertisements or targeted ads. I never receive suspicious spam like I do in gmail. If I do mark something as spam it stays spam unlike gmail.
555  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do we use shampoo? on: February 27, 2015, 08:24:12 PM
Geez, the OP appears to be obsessive. If you don't want to wash your hair, fine. You look very young. Would be a shame to develop dandruff or another scalp condition from bad hygiene. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seborrhoeic_dermatitis

Like I said in your other thread, other options are available. You can try a mix of castile soap, water, baking soda, and olive(or another) oil. All nice and natural ingredients. Your hair will feel like straw afterwards but it will be clean and presentable. Saltwater won't do much for you except for hair that will stand up on its own.

I don't discuss bitcoin or linux with the average person. Its not worth the hassle.
557  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: February 26, 2015, 03:29:09 AM
I'm noticing a lot of "hot tips" on coin pumps over at hashtalk. Word must have got around there are serious suckers investors over there.
558  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitstamp now questioning me why i am using their exchange? on: February 25, 2015, 09:14:25 PM
So if I understand this properly; bitstamp is asking these questions for deposits and withdrawals in either bitcoin or fiat? And this is with already verified accounts? What kind of amounts are we talking about? Over three grand ... over 10 grand?

I would be very unhappy to have my funds held hostage till I jump their hoops, particularly if I'm already verified. I guess if you are dealing with 10s of thousands of dollars red flags could rise.

Perhaps the community can resurrect paycoin later on but they will have to change the name to shake off some of the scandal.

Looks like its happening already. Paycoin Foundation aka: bagholders taking over the reins. This is too funny and so predictable.

Btw, how's that $20 buy back coming along?
