541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Libra Coin bring Down Bitcoin's dominance on: October 02, 2019, 11:46:46 AM
Libra coin when finally launched will be a big player in the market, with a massive liquidity, it has the potential of attracting many investors. I really feel no coin can ever defeat bitcoin again. Since Libra is not built like bitcoin, so there will be minimal volatility with the Libra coin. Bitcoin remains a better investment option.
542  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price on: October 02, 2019, 11:36:48 AM
I should have known bitcoin earlier than now, by now, I should have retired. Damn it. I am still hopeful because we are still young in the industry, for a sector that want to change the old system, and dominate the financial sector, then we still have a good way to good. For a price growth, we certainly need adoption by big companies who play a mojor part in the  the economic of the world.
543  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Can I Increase Bitcoin? on: October 02, 2019, 11:30:53 AM
To be very honest with you, if you are thinking of bounty as an option, this should be the last option because market uncertainty.
I will suggest you either get a secular job and use part of your salary to be accumulating bitcoin or you can learn some skills and work for some new and old projects who will the pay you with a more stable coins that can be sold for bitcoin. Joining a bounty should be the last option which should not be overlooked though.
544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $10 Million Dollars of Miners Up in Smoke on: October 02, 2019, 11:24:16 AM
That is a huge setback, at a time the market is struggling and difficulty level is high. If the farm is insured, there should be some hope for the owners. I hope help comes their way soon. My heart is with them.

546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a search term, ranked by countries. Nigeria, South Africa, Austria on: October 01, 2019, 09:00:17 AM
This search is a reflection of awareness and quest to know what bitcoin is all about. While developing nations top the chart, this means not much has been known about bitcoin in these countries compared to developed nations who more exposed to technology. In Nigeria for example, the blockchain body has been going round campuses to educate undergraduate about bitcoin, this factor may has contributed to chart topping.
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to Bring Water to Ethiopia on: September 30, 2019, 08:03:15 PM
Ethiopia has always have water issues, one of my country man is helping feed some kids over there and providing a quality education. I read of how some persons do die of water scarcity in East Africa, so having a charity water project is nice. The technology of getting water through the air might be look into.
548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How well is the Blockchain technology adopting? on: September 30, 2019, 07:55:28 PM
Even though the technology is what took the society by surprise, and with many opposition because of its decentralized nature which gives control to the people rather than a central authority, which the world government is strongly against. So far looking at the listed oppositions, the blockchain has achieved more than I have projected.

550  Economy / Economics / Re: WHICH GROUP DO YOU BELONG HERE on: September 27, 2019, 03:24:54 PM
Your definition of a bull and a bear is person and not a real definition maybe you should have use "holder" or other technical language, one can be bullish and still go ahead and sell, while plotting a death trap graph for his followers.
551  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: September 27, 2019, 03:14:20 PM

What made me excited into investing is cryptocurrency but unfortunately it was not bitcoin but a scamming project called TheBillionCoin which by name itself really sounded so dubious. Okay, I was still innocent and naive at the time. Soon,

I know about TheBillionCoin (TBC) the people who invested in this scamming coin are been told that 1TBC=17BTC. I have try to educate some fanatics of this killer coin, but they are just too blinded because of the frivolous promises of some TBC admin. A coin without exchange and no real utility but keep scamming the gullible.

552  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Cryptocurrency threatens governments on: September 27, 2019, 03:06:42 PM
Cryptocurrency gives power to the people but fiat gives the government power and control, so they will have to see how to regulate it so they don't loss their control over the people. Once the government can't dictate your financial life, then you are free to a reasonable degree, at least you are not going to be living like a slave.
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would someone use an exchange to shift $1.2 Billion worth of bitcoins? on: September 26, 2019, 07:19:39 PM
The current price fall seems to be a well planned attack on the bitcoin price. Maybe they want it to be on the bad news or to get weak hands to sell off while they come back and buy cheap.
554  Economy / Economics / Re: Issuing loans in Bitcoin, how we could do it on: September 26, 2019, 07:15:49 PM
There is a project I saw on this forum they issue loan in cryptocurrency, including bitcoin, I have not lay hand on it again to read their whitepaper so I see how they intend to factor dumping, so their loan won't be in trouble. Banks should be about to issue loan to customers in the future, the price of bitcoin will just be increasing as more and more persons size the privilege.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: this is a promising project, what do you think? on: September 25, 2019, 06:53:55 AM
Minter is a great project that has a platform where project creator get value, am yet to read their whitepaper, a friend even caution me to take Minter seriously by investing in it. Mind you, the fact that a campaign has many participants is not a signal that it's a better project or will be successful. I hope you van still remember the infamous Ethereum classic coin? Minter is good though but trade with wisdom because this is an unregulated market.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the market on the right track to grow? on: September 25, 2019, 06:47:50 AM
All these don't determine an already established cryptocurrency market. All what you just said are related to new projects and ICO. Be aware that bitcoin determines everything that happens here, even scammers who create fake ICO, will later still buy bitcoin and keep them, the earlier you start taking bitcoin serious the better.
557  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NOTHING! on: September 25, 2019, 06:42:50 AM
This is funny, you want vendors and producer to stop accepting a currency backed by the government policy? This is funny how do they sell their goods? Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency are still evolving. You can't completely remove the fiat for now. May I understand well your write up?
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MIRACLE TELE SCAM??? on: September 24, 2019, 04:17:53 PM
The former CEO since to have left. And a new CEO taken over, but this has not helped the dying project that screwed investors. I got badly screwed despite the red alert from their miss-firing. I hope they are able to succeed against all odds.
559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The most popular payment methods to buy Bitcoin in 2019 on: September 24, 2019, 04:12:15 PM
I majorly use bank transfer and get to pay almost zero charges for this when dealing with peer-to-peer system of trade. The second is buying bitcoin with my altcoins. I don't use the other digital money.
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Public online auction for confiscated BTC tomorrow 25 Sep 2019 on: September 24, 2019, 04:08:57 PM
I hope the government is not trying to obtain bitcoin traders and see how to monitor them for strict tax payment? If they are really serious, they should look for a trusted exchange to conduct this, they may want to restrict any nationality of their choice if they dime it fit.
