541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Been to Macau? on: October 25, 2017, 01:59:36 AM
I have yet to been to macau but i heard that it is a great experience to visit the different casino. Some casino has invested a lot even on just the entrance of the casino. You need not have to gamble, just by touring the different casino can be a fruitful experiences.
542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: losing 50 bitcoins gambling on: October 25, 2017, 01:57:12 AM
When he losses 5 btc.he should have realize that luck wasnt on him.and stopped right away.why waited for 50btc .its a big loss that can change life for good.if he only valued the BtC as fiat

There is never a good gauge whether 5btc or 50btc or even 0.5btc is the relection point. It is all about mentality. If he is too obsessed by chasing the lost, it is just a matter of time that he will lose it all.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: October 25, 2017, 01:54:46 AM
Anyone thought why roulette tables set top limits for bets?

Martingale is very popular but you have to manage "Drawdown Limit" that could be enough to cover all your losing steps. These losing steps can/will cost huge amounts

Yes. Experience will matter because gambling can be strategized. An experienced gambler already know  or experience the different situations. It can be his or her advantage to formulate strategies to win that certain game. Just like in life, an experienced individual in a certain skill or task is called as an expert. If you have expertise you gain more knowledge into something.

I disagree with you. Almost all the gambling games did not give you an edge if you have more experience in it. Even formulating strategies may not help you at all. Otherwise, those people who has been gambling for their whole life and they are still not profiting most of the time.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: October 24, 2017, 11:55:32 PM
I think that we have already established that not everyone gamble for money alone, others gamble for fun and others gamble because they want to relieve stress and pressure so if we do take away the monetary aspect of gambling, we can agree that still people will gamble but not me because i gamble solely for money.

Since you mention that you gamble solely for money, so does that means that you have been profit from gambling? If so, can share more like how you gamble and what you gamble?
545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: October 24, 2017, 11:53:23 PM
Money will not go anywhere but only on casino owner's pocket if you gamble. Investing is much better and it's good example is btc where you can assure you'll get your profit and the only thing that you can't assure is how huge is the profit that you will get.

Investing is way more better than gambling, but, investing is not that good, there are a lot of HYIP's out there which is just legit on the first time, but after some days or week, they are just going to ran off with all of the people who have invested their money on a certain HYIP, that is why I'd rather join signature campaign and assure myself that I'm going to have bitcoin in return after posting.

I agree that investing is better but it’s difficult to determine those legit firm to invest and one good type of investments is a new ICO currency project investments. With that certain levels of idea, gambling might be a quick investor’s visionary with lucky profitable aspects in an instance but it’s risky when you lose your bet most of the time. At least if you’re in a project investment you’re capable of earning bigger returns in the future.

ICO is actually not a good type of investment unless you have done a lot of research. It is better to invest in establish coins like ethereum or neo.

547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best way to quit gambling and start trading?? on: October 23, 2017, 03:06:57 PM
If you have been gambling for a long time, gambling has become a habit and it is not easy to quit. You will need a lot of support from loves one to help you get used to a new life style. It is not easy to do it alone.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you learn from your gambling mistakes? on: October 23, 2017, 02:56:32 PM
I learnt from my gambling mistakes by losing money. And i have learnt from different gambling mistakes. One of the example is about playing dice. I have tried to play with different methods and this had caused me to lose some btc. I also then move on to play table games and i lost more.
549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What the games you play as you earn? on: October 23, 2017, 02:53:46 PM
I have realised that the more i play, the more i will end up losing. So instead of playing the games, i invest in bank roll and earn as others play the games.

I hope gamblers would understand that, if they will believe that in the end only the casino operators will get richer then maybe they can minimize their gambling and focus their money on something that they have a great potential to be successful. There are a lot of risk taking activities and one of the popular activity is trading, you can surely make money if you are good in predicting the price movement and when you focus on that you have a good chance to improve.

I totally agree. Casino owner built casino is meant to earn money from the gamblers. It is meant to make the gamblers lost their money. So it is always you invest. Although u may lose but there have been a lot of people getting rich from investment.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quantstamp ICO meetup in SG. Collecting Question for Q&A. on: October 23, 2017, 02:30:43 PM
It seems like this is a very quiet topic. It is kind of sad to see such enthu people but the community is not coming in. So why not kick off with the first question that i have. Given that Quantstamp is famous of their ability to quality check on the smart contracts, do they foresee other similar uprising team to join the same crypto bandwidth and challenge quantstamp in the same field?
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quantstamp meetup in SG. Collecting Question for Q&A. on: October 22, 2017, 08:26:01 AM
I am very interested in Quantstamp as they seems like a very strong community. They have PhD people in the team and they even have FB engineer to join them so the dev team have a lot of great potential in them. I have read the report given by the quantstamp and it really showed that they are very knowledgeable in the crypto coding field. Keep it up and i hope to hear from you soon.

554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I have found a long term and strong dice strategy. on: October 10, 2017, 06:24:02 AM
After reading the strategy, it is still a losing strategy. I have times and times again tell people that you can win a lot of times in the long run, but in the long run you will still end up losing if the probability is against you. From that strategy, it is similar to x2 method with a stop loss and you apply this method to a few play style in roulette. But at the end of the day, it is still no difference from other method.
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: October 10, 2017, 06:16:02 AM
Obviously, I would like to prefer investment rather than gambling, I believe that investment is more secure than gambling. if your luck doesn't favour you then gambling is nothing for you. but if you have an investment in anywhere then it will bring a good result for you in the future.

It may not be true. One best example is invest in HYIP or scam ICO. For example, if you look into ICO like Letitride, you would have lost almost all your money as it is a scam project. 1 token worth 2000satoshi at first, but when the dev turned out to be a scam, the value of the token drop until it is just a few satoshi.
556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Go to Land Based Casinos? on: October 10, 2017, 02:52:48 AM
I do go to land based casinos as the atmosphere and liveliness is totally different from online btc casino. You get to see how people play and even may shout together with the others for common goal.
557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: October 10, 2017, 02:50:42 AM
Gambling is addicitive because it is one of the easiest activity to pick up. It is suitable for all ages so even elderly can also play. You dont even need to understand how it works and you can even profit while being entertained.
558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: October 10, 2017, 02:49:03 AM
Personally, i would prefer to invest. You may need to spend a lot of time to do research and learn a lot of things before you can perform well in investing. However, each investment whether you fail or success, you will learn so your next investment will become better. However for gambling, you just let your fate to be decided by the dice or machine.
559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best way to quit gambling for good on: October 09, 2017, 04:14:54 PM
Quitting is not easy when gambling has become a habit. You will tend to think about it and you will feel unsatisfying when you are not gambling. That is why support from loves one and firends are very important to help a person quit.
560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: October 09, 2017, 04:13:44 PM
The wrose mistake in gambling is that i decide to trust a HYIP. It has been running for 1year and 6 months. And i happen to keep seeing a lot of people praising about this system and it is really a legit company. So i decide to give it a try and it does really pay out every day. I even think if it is fake, i may be able to make some profit before it goes burst. I end up losing money.
