Playing around on the website and reading the whitepaper I can see this is a really interesting idea and the tech is already in place before launch (which is unusual for a coin). What I don't get is why you decided to do a ninja-launch ICO? Seems like you could have generated a lot more interest if you pre-announced it, particularly since you already have the alpha service up and running. How long will the ICO go on for?
My ICO is different as my GNEISS Coin is just a generic ERC20 token on the Ethereum blockchain. It's meant to represent the profits of the GNEISS as well as give discounts on the fees to run blockchain transactions (taxing blockchain transactions is how GNEISS gets revenue). The reason I did a ninja launch is because frankly I already have working software and only need thousands not millions of $$$ to finish the first stage of production. By that time the website should be generating enough revenue to where I don't have to sell any more GNEISS Coin.  In that way GNEISS Coin is more like crypto-stock than a technologically advanced blockchain and I only want to sell so much of GNEISS's revenue. Interesting. That is a unique approach. Publicly offered refund is a bad move. Even stepping stones are not that dangerous. I will leave no drop of my vitriol on this project if proceeds dont vaporize from the refund addy by the end of the week.
So how would you offer a refund? Put a link on a website for 1 hour and hide it after that and say: "Hey there was a link, but you didn't respond too bad". We are open and give everyone a chance to ask for a refund - we are being more than fair and transparent about this. We are not begging anyone to stay, its your choice if you want to stay or if you want to leave. Seriously, idk what that guy is on about. Does he just want you to refuse refunds altogether or does he want you to do it in such a restrictive way that it practically doesn't happen? Either of those approaches would be a terrible start for community relations and building a trusting relationship with investors... You guys made the right choice. |

It does look like i would have to spend more than 200 USD to buy 1K of ICN, I'm so far lucky to have 4k still in my account. If that $3 happens, i still can profit a bit but it would be best to receive dividends still.
don't count on too much dividends for 4K ICN I think 4K ICN is enough if Iconomi is really succesful (beyond eToro, Poloniex, Kraken level) and crypto industries boom. The more you hold the better of course but considering no inflation and relatively small supply of "shares" you would be holding a decent amount. 10K would equal to 0.01% of the company which will make you a considerable shareholder. Not everyone can get 100k ICN or similar, so for a very humble investment you can get an amazing return if it succeeds. A similar situation happened with Ethereum in terms of prices (ICN could never get to ETH levels or may very well beat them due to dividends enticement). In two years if crypto becomes a reality would it be so crazy to see BTC above 2-3k, ETH above $100 and ICN above $20? Imagine if trading platforms like Bittrex, Coinbase, or Bitstamp were listed on coinmarketcap.com Their market caps would easily be above $100 million That's what we're going to see with OFM platform OMG!! this is the reason why none of these exchanges trade ICN. In a year's time the trollbox at poloniex will ask for listing in Iconomi's OFM Yeah this was my thought exactly, they want to save the high-volume trading for their own platform. Makes sense. And in the long run it should be good for ICN and all ICN holders/traders. |

2 questions before opening:
- about investments done to ICO portal, shoud they to be done from the wallets we have access to private keys (not from exchange) or still we can make transactions from exchanges as well?
- as tokkens will be created on different platforms does that mean that doing investment let's say in waves we get our tokkens on waves platform?

lol Kraken is a real exchange. Because not many exchanges altcoin there so that people think kraken not including real exchanger  But for me kraken is the real exchanger even better than bittrex lol its number 5 in volume for all exchanges and apparently reaching 88k volume doesn't make it real. If Liqui was the only exchange, sub 10k would be usual volume. Kraken is more legit than bittrex or poloniex. That is why people don't like it. Because kraken is so legit they acutally have to abide by regulations. Oh no! You poor babies can't hide your taxable income from the government! I don't think that is the reason lol Kraken didn't start out as an alt exchange so they're probably thinking its not a "legit," exchange. Ridiculous but there you go. Also the UI is shittier (more difficult) in their eyes than most altcoin exchanges like trex/polo. Being added to trex would be useless just FYI to the guy who wants a "real," exchange. That makes no sense... nobody actually considers alt exchanges "more legit" or "more real" compared to fiat/btc exchanges... it's the opposite. Unless by "more legit" you mean "allows me to hide who I am and what I am doing with my money". Which, sure, is exactly what many altcoin traders think. Of course anonymity is a HUGE factor for cryptocurrency traders... That's kind of a big part of why BTC and altcoins caught on in the first place... You can literally look through this thread and find people stating the reason they don't want to use kraken is because they don't want to give out their info... But I agree, their UI sucks big time and that + the much fewer number of lesser-known altcoins surely contributes to the lower interest in kraken. |
