Hey guys, This one beats me and I have no idea what can be the problem. I am running on Giga 7950 GPU and it works and runs smoothly. I have tried mining different types of Algo on this and everything runs smoothly. When I run Scrypt, N-Scrypt, Keccak etc on my miner, I get a normal sound from the rig. Please see audio file below while on Scrypt, N-Scrypt, Keccak etc: http://vocaroo.com/i/s1JtVurpH3DaNow when I switch on SGMiner and mine x11, I get a weird buzzing noise that is louder than the actual fan noise. See audio file below. If I close the SGMiner / x11 miner, the noise goes off right away. The temp and fan speed are perfect in SGMiner and its runs and hashes just fine, without any HW errors, but the buzz is annoying and difficult to sleep in the night cause of this. http://vocaroo.com/i/s1IpBeraD64mI tried playing with the config settings and tried changing almost everything I could (temp, intensity, auto & gnu fan, etc.) to see if I can eliminate the buzz noise. Update: MAC Wallet here, its sync'd now with 5 connections. Current number of blocks 8208 Estimated total blocks 7204 Not staking cause of no mature coins (guess my coins have not grown up yet ). |

I was running my CGMiner alongside CGwatcher. For a short while there was HW errors and I was wondering if there is a way in which CGWatcher restarts the CG Miner after few hardware failures?

Before making any conclusion, lets first wait for the Dev to reply regarding stake's minimum requirement. Its early morning in the US, so please give dev some time for replying.

Everyone with less than 1.0 SYNC will be selling soon if the PoS is only for those with at least 1.0 SYNC. IMHO, I don't get the 1% PoS rate with a 1000 coins? It sounds like the bulk of people either cannot receive any PoS, or will not receive much at all. So, why would 1% be worth it, for anyone but the top handful of owners that accumulate the bulk of these coins? There will be little value to anyone else to hold them? And, in the end, little value for anyone if this coin ends up with a small distribution. Why wouldn't the PoS be set at 100%? What would be wrong with that? At least if you double your coins for holding them, it would be incentive…there's little incentive for the majority of coin owners to keep for PoS? ;-( Sorry, I don't see the value there?
I have less than 1 Sync in my wallet and according to it it is staking right now...Do you mind letting us know how many SYNC do you have in the wallet? Are you on MAC / Windows (don't see this as a factor) How many confirmations you have got on the last transaction before staking started? Thanks! around 0,6... windows...and i don't know now..didn't check...and I have more transactions since then...but I think it the last one one before i enabled the staking was above 1000 confirmations... also..I remember when i tried to stake few days before...the wallet was saying that my coins weren't old enough... and now my wallet is back ''out of sync''....with 15 connections...18 now Can't see the last block in the chain anymore...however the green arrow for staking is still on and expected reward is in 2 hr...  also...i did mistake a small transaction coming in for a staked block...it was the rest of coins that I got from the mining pool... sorry for that..wasn't expecting it and size, also not waiting for any confirmations, therefore no icon mistaken me.... Thank you for replying very quick. My coins are not mature enough and not staking, but now like you, the wallet does not sync. |

This PoS, even if it works, is 1% / year! YOU KNOW? ONE PERCENT / YEAR only!

No. You will be eligible for PoS every eight hours, and in total you will receive a 1% interest on a yearly basis. If you move your coins however it’ll take another 8 hours to make them generate PoS blocks again. |

please read previous page, this question is answerred many times! bottomline, you need a reasonable amount of sync and 1000 confirmations 1083 confirmations/0.52 SYNC/"Not staking because you dont have mature coins"/wallet updated/wallet is unlocked about 6-7 hours - what am I doing wrong?  I think you need 1 sync + for staking Thanks for info. Will close my wallet then... have only 0.13 |

No minimum, everyone gets 1% per annum regardless of volume Thanks, do I need to buy or mine more coins to my wallet as at the moment 'I don't have mature coins?' I am at 0.1356 SYNC now? |
