Dumping and Hodl must time are difficult decisions to make. I remembered Hodl a coin and it depreciated badly. I also remembered a coin i dumped that later appreciated. The best thing is for you to follow your mind and look at the team and their plans before Dumping or Hodl a token/coin.
This days, what i do is to sell some and keep the rest in case the price increases. I have so many token/coin that i should have sold then but i did not and they shit in my wallet now.

Where must traditional financial institutions finds it difficult is in fraud tracing. I was once hacked despite my years of experience in the blockchain, i traced to the point, i got totally confused. But if, it is traditional financial institution, you can trace the fraudster without much effort. I love blockchain and its use cases but there are also limitations to it.

Your analysis are wrong. I participated in that project, the price was already $0.006 before the distribution started. As at today the price is at $0.0075. I still have thousands of it. In most cases, the team always distributes the token to bounty hunters when they are done with the project. I have been hunting for 3 year. I have wealth of experience in the business. Hunters contributes to the fail in price but they are not the major cause.
You know that you will pay them, which modalities did you put in place to absolve their token? The law of demand and supply must take it's due place. So don't heap the blame on bounty hunters.

DeFi projects made some rich and wealthy while it made some poor and retched. The introduction of DeFi killed me and some of my friends. It is not really a good experience. Though some of the DeFi project are still waxing strong but they should count me out. It would ended well because the ideology was not bad but some criminal minded guys with the aided from some exchange wrecking us.

You are not the only one that is scared of doing it. I hardly stake because of it. Though, if the team is serious you can do stake without fear.
I invest in a presale last month, later they asked us to return the token for refund that they are not continuing with the project. Many of us returned it and they refunded few but did pay me and many us back. After taken the token back from us, and they later listed it moonswap and lock the telegram group. That was how i lost my money.

1, The problem they want to solve.
2, Who are the team members. (their profile and experience)
3, The roadmap/blueprint.
4, The infrastructure on ground etc

There is no country that does not have good and bad people. I know so many projects that have scammed people that are not Nigerians nor Africans. You should be proud that Nigeria Government is fighting crypto crimes while their counterparts in West not. Kudos to Nigeria government for this brave act. Let the European and Americans government join in this. It will reduced criminality in Crypto-related frauds.
