541  Economy / Economics / Re: If you had to choose one fiat currency to keep your money in... on: July 18, 2014, 11:25:36 AM
I Choose Singapore Dollar (SGD)
but not so many amount of my wealth in fiat, i prefer invest to gold / property / stock
RMB.

If people argue wider adaptation is why bitcoin value should sky rock, then choosing RMB is a no brainer since all the production are mostly done in China these days.
be careful holding currency from Big industry country
their gov weaken the value of their currency to support product export

BTC-e and bitstamp are not P2P exchange, they have centralized servers
bitfinex is P2P exchanger Grin

A) So are Paypal/Visa/MasterCard, etc.
3 of these payment are credit card. (paypal needs credit card). i know in advance country it's very easy to apply credit card, but in third world country it will be harder, too many requirements and it's annoying. don't forget monthly fee Sad
and i don't like credit card, they urge me to spend more for consumer product with their discount

Quote
A) Western Union can send money to many places. Of course with a fee.
I used this service once and never want to use again
their fee is horrible. with bitcoin i can send money to my family with smaller fee, and quick confirmation
549  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My wallet is stolen! (10 BTC) on: July 18, 2014, 09:26:46 AM
are you sure your computer not installed any keylogger/malware?
i saw the tx and i'm sure the hacker already mixed that BTC
so sad for you
550  Other / Off-topic / Re: Just won BTCbanc and BTCbanq on: July 18, 2014, 09:20:27 AM
nope, BTCbank owned by someone Tongue
it's active site anyway http://btcbank.com/
551  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transaction Fee question on: July 18, 2014, 09:13:39 AM
It may take really long time, why are you so greedy?? You only need to spend like 10-20 cents on transaction fee if not less.
it's just an example for the question, i always add fee for miners Grin
i saw some big amount of tx not include fee, like my current signature payment did
If your 1btc has more than 150 confirmations, you can send it for free. Same goes to 0.5btc with 300 confirmations.
where i can get this information? it's only take 25 hours to get 150 confirmation

If you leave it to get old enough, your outputs must not be dust and your inputs must also not be dusts. The transaction size also matter other than the age.
what's parameter to described old enough?
for one day? for 150 confirmations?
552  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the best online wallet for my spending money on: July 18, 2014, 09:03:07 AM

i received recent phising attempt some days ago
553  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why does losing ~10,000 satoshis feel so bad? on: July 18, 2014, 09:01:05 AM
forget about faucet and BTC, you earn only 10000 satoshi for three days and you'll feel so bad if you lose it in just one bet Tongue
i earn 20000-30000 satoshi / day form my referrals, and just gamble it away for 3x-4x profit
if i loose, i'm not feel bad, since i didn't waste my time t earn it Tongue
554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what exchange do u use? on: July 18, 2014, 08:57:01 AM
some users mentioned lakeBTC, worth to try?
i use cryptsy because I like the interface, performance ,& high security.
And they have enable trading for $ currency. One more step foward  Cool

Interesting. I actually hate Cryptsy. Their interface is horrible. They take forever to credit deposits. And their trading engine is not real-time. It's extremely laggy. Very frustrating when trying to scalp pumps.
yeah, i remembered some users in this forum call them craptsy Grin
me too have bad experience with it and don't want use it anymore Sad
I used exchanges not much, bitstamp's liquidity is not very good, and the charges are so many even deposit; bitfinex makes someone feels good, but it does not fit me, I don't need short/margin, it's enough contented for me that just a simple buy and sell; coinbase seems simple buying and selling, but it is not a true exchange, lack many features; while lakebtc to meet my needs, simple to buy and sell, quickly and safely, complete bitcoin exchange service.

I think it is well suited for the demands of most people to simply buying and selling bitcoins.
i think bitfinex good for daily trader who like margin so much Tongue
i'll try lakeBTC, i only need buy and sell bitcoin, with many options for withdrawal
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: We buy your signature Credits CRD on: July 18, 2014, 08:53:33 AM
wow may be if he pay 10k-50k CRD people will join ...
everyone will jump to this ship and we ready to da moon Tongue

Tongue now is 190sat
still not worth for 21 posts
i can make it just for 2 posts in my current signature Grin
556  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: investing in cex.io on: July 18, 2014, 08:50:07 AM
1) bad experience Tongue their GHS is way overpriced, and they maintenance fee is horrible
2) per Day   0.00002901 BTC   $0.02
minus their maintenance fee (just googling about it)
you will get lesser
3) Do no buy there, just keep your bitcoin in your wallet is wise decision

just googling some thread about cex.io experience in BTT

cex.io is very expensive now  Tongue
you can try to invest in LUNAMINE

lunamine.com Mining Contracts || 0.0025 BTC / GHs || Highest ROI & Fast Support
i don't like mining contract
since we can't predict the difficulty in the future
who knows in 3 month later, 100 GHS will not worth anymore for mining
557  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this site legit? on: July 18, 2014, 08:44:02 AM
Haven't heard of the site, but it is a Bitcoin Foundation silver member. Smiley
https://bitcoinfoundation.org/members/

Doesn't really prove anything except they are willing to pay to advertise their service. Doesn't affect whether they are legit or not. The bitcoin foundation itself has been questioned whether they are legit or not.

Very true. Don't forget mtgox was a gold member of the bitcoin foundation lol. Smiley
i think donate to bitcoin foundation is easiest way to get exposed
and some of them is scammer
i saw updown.bt is gold member, but their service are horrible

based on my calculation
