To anyone who has a wallet with a block chain:
What wallet version do you have? What is the current block height you are at?
Have you tried the pools and/or the exchanges listed on the OP? Surely they will be able to supply the information you seek.

The security is extremely strong in ApolloCoin - perhaps a little overdone?
Could we have the decryption key to download the Mac wallet please?
Appreciate it.

While we're talking wallets, any sign of the MAC update? OP still says need update. I alerted mac dev no response yet i will contact another one soon. I just love the responsiveness of this team! Not many coins can boast such a can and will do team. Time to hit the donate address again

Ok another problem with someone's wallet. Everytime he tries to open it, the wallet freezes. He tried to restart the computer and the wallet many times and it's always freezing (not answering) What should he do? Do I suggest him to download the new Trustless wallet and open his file in the new wallet, how does it work? I don't know but I usually suspect corrupted files with such crashes - save the wallet, or better yet simply rename the current folder to something else without deleting anything, try starting the wallet again and see if it loads OK. It'll need to download the blockchain again if it works, stop the wallet and copy wallet.dat back into newly created folder & Bob's your uncle - if it works. Won't hurt anything to try it as long as you don't kill wallet.dat. You may need to perform the usual repairwallet sequence if coins appear to be missing but as long as you keep the existing wallet.dat you can't lose the coins. Best of luck.

That's not true, I implemented scrypt merged mining in my coin, tacocoin, and am working on it in greencoin and apollo
That's cool axman Any chance of a report on how that's going? A little news for the troops is always good for morale Well., I'm doing this for free, so this is low priority for me now. If there was a btc bounty, I'd have more reason to hurry up Ah yes, BTC... if only I had some

Any danger of a Mac wallet being compiled?

Sorry Camo, Australia banned assault rifles twenty years ago and we've had zero massacres since. Yes people are stupid, so we took the guns away. There was no practical way to only give it to the smart people, downunder.
This is categorically not the place for this discussion but demands a reply: One foolish thing the Howard government did, among very few examples, was to be seen to be "doing something" in response to one maniac's murder spree. The difference now is not fewer gun crimes - daily media is full of shootings and gun murders in Australia to a far greater extent than to that which existed at the time of the Port Arthur massacre. Restricting gun ownership has simply made honest people targets. Dishonest people, criminals, still have illegal firearms and a disarmed populace to shoot at. Our situation has not improved with violent home invasions up, murders up, in fact violent crime of all descriptions increasing significantly since Port Arthur. Gun bans simply reduce the defense options available to honest people. If people are intent on killing they will use any tool, from vehicles to knives, rocks or tree branches. Restriction of one tool type has zero effect on those of ill-intent, only on the defense options of those who are unwilling to be victims. It is a simple fact that those too lazy to work for a living think twice about breaking into a home clearly marked "Home security by Smith & Wesson". Now please take this discussion to a suitable forum and leave this darkcoin thread for the discussion of darkcoin. Edited for sprelling

Thanks for your support hellracer.
Also, new mac wallet compiled.
Works for 10.6-7-8 and 9.
Update OP with new mac wallet.
Wow! That was fast! This one appears to load OK, suffers from the usual crash on 1st attempt, then loads fine subsequently. Thanks guys, nifty work!

Bit of a problem for Mac users - wallet crashes on load on Mac Mavericks (OSX 10.9.4).
Source doesn't compile for me out-of-the-box neither.
Anyone got a working Mac wallet?

I am not making anything off this coin.
Yeah you just said a mouthful... Okay then please show me how I will make money off this. Prove me wrong. Exactly you can't because you are just trolling. I have no premine to dump. Well, there is that 600,000 first block reward, then there's the 20% for next 250 blocks, then the 1% from block 251-1500000... it certainly seems you have control of a lot of CKcoin. And you don't think you can make any money off this? What hope for anyone else then, I wonder?

Browsing the code for this coin does reveal a 600K genesis block with a comment suggesting they are for BitTrex distribution (main.cpp, line 972) nSubsidy = 600000 * COIN; // 2% Bittrex Swap Block for all users of CKcoins (HASH, DRM, NEB, TECH, FIRE, and ISIS) and all active Bittrex members
No mention of WEB, the coin he walked away from this past week. Quite how those burned with previously dumped coins HASH, DRM, NEB, TECH, FIRE, and ISIS are to be compensated from this is unclear, as is the amount intended for "all active Bittrex members". Of course, anyone can put a comment in code knowing it will have exactly zero effect on anything but human readers. This case may be different and I hope that it is but all available history says that "CK" stands for "Crapcoin King". It may be wise to remember the old adage, if it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck...

Does anyone know how to contact the dev other than here or PM (which hasn't responded in over 12 hours as of this posting)?
It is the same Dev from the old Onyxcoin (and many more coins) or now CKcoin.. Didn't you know ? Is that fact or suspicion? Update: Dev has confirmed he's moved on to CKcoin, willing to hand over Web to anyone in community who wishes to continue.

Alright, it's only a coupla days since the dev posted and it is the northern hemisphere vacation season. Assuming he/she's simply distracted atm it's up to us to bring some life back to this thread so, let's lose the negative crap. Our positives are quite solid :- - The coin works, always a great starting point.
- Distribution went smoothly and fairly, which is just about all Minerals had going for it and MIN is on several exchanges, traveling nicely at >1K sat.
- The wallets work with no apparent complaints and are feature-rich.
Now, how about everyone start adding to that list and come up with suggestions of where this coin could/should go. Does anyone know how to contact the dev other than here or PM (which hasn't responded in over 12 hours as of this posting)?

I think the logo is done on the knee in handy more representative. It can create address for the prize for a new logo. Then put webcoin voting lists significant exchanges. Vote, and the community sees them in time. Any ideas?
First move is to get Web dev immediately involved. We need some fixes on the OP: Block Explorer: http://cryptobe.com/chain/WebCoin <=== doesn't work WEB Faucet: http://cryptoarrow.com/faucets/webcoin/index.php <=== blank page CryptoCoinRank WEB Market Capital: http://www.cryptocoinrank.com/Webcoin <=== says api status down Having dud links in the OP is a serious demerit, these must be fixed or removed immediately and some explanation posted. C-CEX is always keen to host coin devs in their chat and that generally stirs more interest in a coin - always provided devs have something to say and can answer questions about the coin, its purpose, community and plans. At this stage a perfectly functional coin has all the appearance of a scam, we need to fix this fast or this coin is joining the dodo by the end of the week. Action this day!

Hello?
Is anybody in this thread?
Dev, are you keeping an eye on posts?
Any chance of posting some news about plans or developments?
Hello?
It's a nice wallet - seems to work well, even the Mac wallet works out-of-the-box.
So what's being done about promotion?
Is there anything in particular we can promote on C-CEX friendly chat box? Talking a coin normally stirs some action on the markets & keeps restless investors from running.
Hello-o...
generally from the technical point of view, everything works fine, but dev is dull crypto-past ;] Well... shy and retiring devs don't do much for a coin's longevity or current value. Anyone got any ideas on how we can wake this coin from its current slumber?
