541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 01, 2023, 08:38:23 PM
No matter how safe it would be, it's never an option to adopt the idea of gambling... We all know how hard times have been recently, but don't ever try it.
Nevertheless, I've seen peeps that indulge in that and I sometimes wonder how they cope with funds to recycle the process; most times, they're successful - but what's the possibility of becoming like 'em if you decide to begin? Mind you they'll never tell you if they lose; all you'll get to see is what they allow you to see, which are the win tickets.

Look, you ain't got no business with whatever thing they say.... except you believe but like you said, you don't believe in religion so you shouldn't be hesitant to obscure every form of tribal or religion wars/ retaliations.

yunno why I said this? A time will come that some daft-headed fellow would lay down a threat in here to some known, opposite religious fellow and that won't be nice at all.. you are a moderator; stick that off your board and trash 'em.... This isn't a religious site!

Has everyone read this news today?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5476162.0

In this regard, the entire crypto-community has the following question:
Theymos, when KYC will be introduced at bitcointalk.org?
KYCs? On a Bitcoin forum?? I didn't get your question. Are you tryna troll today with the said post or you truly know what you said? Cus what's the sole purpose of Bitcoin creation if I may ask? National/political
induction or enforcement?

look, you'd be called a clown for not knowing that anonymity is a sole prospect of freedom.. and that BITCOIN= FREEDOM? I done explaining this to you cus it ain't happening next time..

Hi everyone I am a newbie, who is open to learning new things here and also about Bitcoin, sincerely speaking I will say I have little or no knowledge about Bitcoin and I am eagerly seeking to know the basic aspect of it and also to become professional like some of you guys someday, if there is anything I need to know about Bitcoin I am always ready to learn.
Welcome onboard!
There's definitely one ugly thing about this inquisitiveness all the time... How did you gain your access into the forum? To the point of knowing how to create a thread? Why haven't you learnt overtime that there's actually a way to SEARCH with subtitles for significant threads that's been created already??.. Incase you dunno, this particular subtitle and thread has been created over 1500 times (my estimation though) in the last 2 years or so?! Now, doesn't it defy one stein rule on the forum already? Think about it.

"Insecurity" has fondly been the usual misconduct that alot of people aren't able to bypass that easily - especially newbies... I've heard of several stories - where these coins were HODLed right from inception, but  was lost in a tragedy, maybe due to real life events, massacre, war or natural disaster...
It could also be as a result of carelessness and lack of self-esteem - cus why would someone post 'em secret phrase or priv keys on the net, seeking for help on why he ain't able to log in?
When this happens, there's not much anyone would do to recover 'em coins back...

Sometimes, rushing up could help in a whole lotta ways.. remember, when you get registered, time begins to tick - peeps are also looking at your activity level and effectiveness... Sometimes you'd ask why? You cannot attest to your efficacy over time in here without posting - Not just posting but, posting valuable documentaries, threads, guidelines and giving solutions to people's problem.. That's exactly where the quote comes in "study to show yourself approved" ... Without much pain, merit will begin to flow in... But what if you don't wanna rush and you begin to relent? name a verdict for yourself then...lol

Has anyone been able to make steady income with gambling ? If yes, what had been your strategy ? Do you diversify to multiple games in order to ensure that end result is always profit ?

I personally feel that there are very less chances of making a steady income with gambling. In fact, if you win a big amount in gambling, from there on , you should play games with less on stake and keep the winnings invested in some good option like crypto. It is important to have self control to end profitably with gambling ventures online. Do you agree with this ?
If you own a casino? Yes! Otherwise, no!! It's insane to think anyone does make enough income from gambling... Anyways, why did u just create a new thread? Related topics have been discussed severally - why didn't you just write on the thread?

casino sites don't program Thier Virtual games to sort anyone's plea - if you're lucky to hit the jackpot today, it doesn't guarantee that happening again.. just be thankful for not wasting up resources again in vain..

548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes betting is just ridiculous. Sometimes it is complete nonsense. on: November 29, 2023, 09:58:25 PM
This is not the first time bookies have provided a place for betting on war, as far as I know on the Ukrainian and Russian wars there were several bookies that provided bets on who would win or how many casualties would fall on either side. This is disgusting, how could someone have the heart to post a bet like this. What if this happened to them? Don't they have a little heart to grieve? or at least just ignore it if they don't think it's important.
I think the bookies should take action against this, because it's disgusting how these fools bet on something that really shouldn't be bet on.
If this isn't the first time bookies have provided slots to bet on wars, then I think this world entirely is the most atrocious place to live in... honestly. How could several sportmakers use another country's downfall to create winning chances for others?

There's absolutely nothing to say about this since I'm not even a party of any form of gambling; how do people feel when others are suffering??..Does it really make sense to feel very comfortable and make jest of situations like that?

Definitely not. There are no chances of increasing 'em stakes assuming a poor person is an addict... Sometimes, increasing 'em stakes might be an obtainable technic to win big...how? You could definitely wager 2 odds with a high deposit rate and expect a high potential wins too.. but on the other hand, to make the potential wins a little bit high, you'd need to speculate on more odds.

I don't believe in the mystery that there are actually some peeps with so much Fortune and luck than the others...

I'm so happy that alot of peeps have confirmed that they've tried the same thing severally and it doesn't workout... Do you actually think the person in question tried it for the first time and it worked?.. he be doing the same thing over and over again, with the hope to win someday and it happened - the problem there is that it's not even guaranteed!

You can become a millionaire in sports; only that the later isn't guaranteed.. there's a higher chance of you becoming broke for the rest of your life.

It's very wrong to take such as an option....I won't even condone gambling, talkmore of gambling away borrowed funds... What on earth would give someone the guts to gambling with borrowed funds? Okay.. I get; some people really regard gambling as a business to venture into, but that's wrong to think of.

first of all, don't gamble - if you must, then don't ever do it with people's funds... Have it that gambling isn't the surest way to double up and make profits.

Halloween weekend is here.

Have you found any particular online casino Halloween Promotion or Bonus worth checking amongst reputable brands?
I have seen some decent ones as well as some not even worth checking out.
Why do I feel like most of these bonuses are fake and are only used to chase clout ?? Cus why ain't no one saying it's been of a positive impact to them?.. on every occasional celebration comes a treat for everyone to either register and claim, or vye for..

There are actually alot of promos and bonuses ongoing on almost every casinos now - I think roobet has an active one currently but I'm not sure about trust dice though.

Yes, I took long to respond cus I needed to make some personal observations as to what happens afterwards but, I'm disappointed!
Sorry about that but you didn't mention that you have full control over your wallet and TW is another term that I don't recognize that is why I ask. Since Charles-Tim said the close wallet for TW is Trust Wallet you should have a backup seed and you can import it to Electrum and follow the guide posted by hosseinimr93.
I do have full control... I was able to import my seed phrase into the new electrum wallet... Though nothing's changed since then; my balance is still zero and I've tried manipulating the severs to see if it'll connect to a one but, all to no avail...Also, it's being connected to about 10 nodes and the mempool fees are fluctuating between 38sat/vb - 145 sat/vb.
How much is the fee rate you used for your transaction?
15 sat/vB
viabtc.com tool is not fake it works

All others are fake.
VIAbtc ain't crap...  I used BITaccelerate and it wasn't working, I didn't need to be told that was wack ASF! Maybe I'll just have to wait till whenever?? Uhmmm.

554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most gamblers do not believe they can consistently make money, that's why... on: November 27, 2023, 09:59:08 PM
It's not even about being optimistic... BTW, is there anyone who stakes just to lose? Absolutely no one! Everyone's got that positive mindset towards the game and I think the main focus is winning at the end - you seee, if wishes were horses, beggers would ride

believing that you can win in a game doesn't bring that into reality, it'll only create an interface for you to either increase your stakes with fake hopes, or increase your betting frequency. Don't ever take this as a motivation for any reason; the fact that peeps ain't able to quit gambling easily isn't precise, but is being used as a daily motivation for the non addicts... "I dunno if you could derive any sense in what I said"

555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can old generation cause the habit of gambling in young generation ? on: November 27, 2023, 09:55:48 PM
There are some old people in my family which are paying cricket fantasy games. They usually talk about the games and their performance is matches almost daily. It is obvious that if any younger guy in family will listen about this, he will also be eager to know more about this. How can I stop the younger generation in my family being carried away by this and focus on other important things like studies only ?
There's a grand rule in life - people will only listen to what they wanna listen to, the rest would definitely be merged up as garbage... So no matter how much effort you put in letting the young child know nothing about this, they'll definitely do worse if they want. Haven't you seen cases that the most protected children become notorious armed robbers and rogues?? What happens on the way?? Nobody knows!!!

but you've got great hopes - cus everyone won't chose the same path.. so if they aren't kept away, one of them might be committed to it.

For the fact that something isn't recommendable doesn't make it bad my friend... The last thing you'd wanna do is condemn gambling in the midst of addicted gamblers... I mean, this very means has enriched alot of people and for that reason, people into it should be Left to thier own discretion ..
Secondly, gambling has also indirectly employed alot of peeps in here for some minimal token which could sometimes serve as a side benefit for just knowing that casinos exist...lol

You treat gambling as a place for entertainment and you enjoy every minute of it, but your family tells you to stop gambling for a week and challenges you to check other platforms for the same level of enjoyment that you experience in gambling.
So what will it be for you?
Do my parents really have to advise me at that point, assuming I'm already addicted?? If they do, I think I'll quickly switch up into playing other types of virtual games; like ps2,3 and 5.. it's not a girl thing yunno but I'll definitely learn on that for free, rather than spending money unnecessarily on virtually programmed games like bc, roulette etc.

The most important thing now would be how to convey the same feeling and ecstasy into this new phase of gaming..

I wanna try this description on electrum wallet to see how I could push through...
What do you mean by gas fee? Are you sending ETH/tokens?
Bitcoin doesn't have gas fees the term that is used on Bitcoin is transaction fees.
"Gas fee" wasn't the intended term.ty
Quote
Anyway, what wallet do you use? If you have full control of your wallet you can bump the transaction(RBF) if it's not an RBF transaction then you can CPFP if you have full control of the receiving address.
I'm not sure you read what I wrote clearly..I do have full control over the wallet.. TW doesn't enable RBF transactions and I don't have an idea on initializing the CPFP like I said...
Quote
You can also rebuild the transaction even if the transaction does not have a signal for RBF you can replace it with an RBF flag.
Lemme see how this goes then ..
560  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Pending transaction.. on: November 25, 2023, 01:16:36 PM
Hey y'all..
I made a transaction to another subsidiary wallet and I was charged with a high txn fees - the gas fee was as high as $11 and I reduced it through an enabling tool on TW.. mind you, the weight and size of this dustcoin is 450 and 195 respectively.
The problem now is, the txn has been pending for over 11 hours now and I had to use VIAbtc accelerator to quicken the confirmation process, only to be told that my adjusted gas fee is too low to be confirmed...

I was definitely looking for ways I could adjust back the gas fee and I stumbled on CPFP. I don't know how to initialize that to correct the fees and so on but I need your help!! Is there a way out???
Edit: I meant to say "tnx fees" not gas fees
