541  Other / Meta / Re: Avatars re-enabled on: April 01, 2015, 11:03:45 AM
It is now once again possible to upload an avatar to the forum. You must be a full member or above to upload an avatar. Go to this page (also linked in your "Forum Profile Information" settings):
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=avatar

You can only upload new avatars: you can't choose one from the server or use a link as you could before. (If you are currently using one of these types of avatars, the upload avatar page will say that you don't have an avatar.) Also, uploaded avatars are not resized: they are simply rejected if they are too large.
Thanks for the great news! I thought we would be only able to see avatars in the next forum but happy to see that avatars have been re-enabled.
542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting On IPL on: April 01, 2015, 10:58:50 AM
Our friend thebitcoinquiz.com done this job for Cricket World Cup now I am following him and starting this thread for IPL2015

I am starting this just for information and fun hope some one will make profit from this

Share your suggestions and informations with us about this

Whoa!
Thanks for putting my name there in big red letters Smiley
I was thinking to change the topic and content of my last thread and maybe we can continue talking about the IPL over there.

For the Kolkata vs Mumbai, ill be supporting Kolkata, although I don't feel that IPL has fair games.
543  Economy / Auctions / Re: 999DICE ACCOUNT WITH 5134 Refs Auction! on: April 01, 2015, 10:54:04 AM
Why such a high starting bid? How much do you make from your refs on average per month?

High bid because it just makes loads of money! You earn 5k-10k doggies per day, 0.001 ltc per day( LTC refs are less) and 200k to 500k satoshi a day! Do the maths!
I really doubt if you can make that kind of money on 999dice because 999dice is already a proven scam site and there are hardly any people who play over there and so that much earning from referrals isn't really possible(cause people don't play there).

I bid 0.4BTC
Just read the warning given by Qyickseller in the 5th post.

Well its not really proven scam, its just proven to have a bad provably fair system that was really hard yo verify, but if you verify each bet (there is a bot for it) its fair. Even if it wasnt i can tell you that a lot of people play there, just take a look at their profit, 2600 bitcoins.
Well still its almost a scam because everyone claims it to be and when the society says its a scam then it is a scam and is not playable even if the site is legit.
And the profit can also be faked out, its just a mere matter of numbers, I can open my own site and claim my profit to be a million bitcoin.
And just went on 999dice, I wasn't able to find people there except for 1 or 2 and so I think they don't get traffic anymore.
544  Economy / Digital goods / Re: selling win vps @1 $ only on: March 31, 2015, 07:44:18 PM
Does anybody can confirm this seller is legit?
Seems fishy. The server specs don't correspond to the price.

I thought so.
Anyone with similar specs and price PM me.
The OP seems illegitimate. He was online yesterday but didn't care to answer the questions posted on this thread. Be careful before giving any money to the OP. Better to search for other deals with trustable companies.
545  Economy / Auctions / Re: Bitcoinsmonitor.com on: March 31, 2015, 07:35:37 PM
Buy it now is $500 obo

Reserve for auction is $99
Did you realize that people are not ready to pay even 3$ for this domain(the last bid was 2$, and I was going to bid 3$, but after seeing your reserved price, I changed my mind). Consider me out of the auction.
The price is set to be too high. Frankly speaking, the domain is really not worth 99$(no offence)
Thanks.
546  Economy / Gambling / Re: [NEED ADVICE PLZ]Lost 0.10 BTC Betting..How To RECOVER? on: March 31, 2015, 07:33:07 PM
All this...for 25$? Huh
if that's low amount why don't you give that to people for free -_-
Well practically talking, yeah 25$ is a pretty low amount. But t depends on person to person whether its low for him or not. And you don't need to give it for free to show that its a low amount for you.
But Tschai, never forget that in some countries 25$ is what you get for 10days of hard work.
I know.
I also know that people living in such a country (should) know the value of that money...and don't gamble that amount!

i m not from one of those countries but people here ask for loan of 0.01 btc
so is it wrong if i ask for advices to recover my small 0.10 btc?
There is a point in taking such small loans. At certain times if I want to buy something using bitcoin and I am just short of like say 0.03BTC then I prefer taking a loan from the forum users rather than to waste my time in buying 0.03BTC from an exchange. This happened with me multiple times
Also if you so much wanna get back your money, then go to primedice, deposit 0.1BTC, enter a stupid seed and Ho high with 0.1BTC bet. You'll win(just getting a gut feeling).
547  Other / Meta / Error 502: Bad Gateway on: March 31, 2015, 07:12:09 PM
Hey!
While I was trying to open my profile page from the index page of Bitcointalk, I got this Error 502 : Bad Gateway.
It kept on happening till I deleted my cookies and logged in again. After it everything became fine. I have encountered the same situation many times since the forum went down(when RAID failed and theymos had to use backup and all).
What's this? And is this something serious?

I am not so interested in chaturbate but can you provide me accounts with token/a premium account on mfc? Do PM me if you have such accounts.
Thanks
550  Economy / Gambling / Re: [NEED ADVICE PLZ]Lost 0.10 BTC Betting..How To RECOVER? on: March 31, 2015, 06:41:12 PM
Seeing your condition I believe that its best for you to not to gamble and accept that you lost 0.1BTC and keep quiet.
I don't think you have enough guts to gamble more bitcoin to recover your loss. You shouldn't have gambled when you were so afraid to loose it.
Although if I were you then I would have gambled the left bitcoins to reciver(simply because I can afford to loose the 0.76BTC).
Do what your heart says don't listen to anyone else.

Although we're 100% privately funded, within the week I will post a full incident report on our official blog regarding hufflepuff. I've already more or less revealed what occurred but in very little detail and will post more for the sake of transparency. Expect to see this sometime this weekend.

Thanks

you mean robbinhood? i thought hufflepuff's win was okay.

Hufflepuff indeed unfortunately. I discussed this in another thread but edited out most of my posts the next day as I'd like to have the full story available. We were planning on breaking the full story via article but this would better be done via a blog post this weekend. Thanks for your patience.
So actually you guys got robbed for a lot of bitcoins. If you paid out hufflepuff then I am surprised that you didn't make checks on him before paying him out. But its better to wait for the story before commenting.
For those who don't have the link to pd's official blog, here it is http://blog.primedice.com/
552  Economy / Auctions / Re: Advertise on this forum - Round 147 on: March 31, 2015, 05:40:09 PM
Can someone please say when the auction ends ?
There is no fixed time for the auction to end.
As theymos said-
"I will end the auction at an arbitrary time no more than 12 days from now. (I will probably end the auction 1-3 days before the ads are scheduled to go up."

You will have to wait for theymos's confirmation.

What would you all think if there was the *Optional* choice to provide an email when signing up? We aren't interested in creating more friction but the exceptionally high number of account recovery emails have greatly hindered our ability to provide very prompt support.

When we eventually roll out the casino this may potentially be mandatory.
I am in support of introducing an optional email choice. Ill be happy to use it cause it will be really helpful in providing me quick access to my account in case of forgotten passwords.
Personally I don't have any problems with doxxing but many(most) of the people are really concerned about their privacy and will be reluctant while providing their emails.

Well i guess people who lose password or 2fA will give theirs email to PD anyways because they need to send support email Smiley .

So yeah i dont see a problem with adding an option to provide email when signing up .
But there is a difference between 1) When the website itself asks for your email address and 2) When you provide your email address for password recovery.
I've seen that people are too hesitant to even share their email addresses at the time of signup because they find it fishy for a site(like pd) to ask for email ids, many of them are afraid of unsolicited emails and others are afraid of getting their emails hacked/loosing their personal info.
But if you yourself send the support the request to change your password then its not the same as collecting email ids during signup. Yes, your email will be leaked during the pasword change request but the site wouldn't get suspected of collecting email ids for crappy purposes(which I believe pd wont do), but if you ask for email ids during signup then ofc some people will start pointing fingers on you.

I normally experience little to no lag, and thats with running on the all bets tab. So I dunno, probably just a you thing.
Just try closing extra applications by going into the task manager then in processes. Close down the extra processes and make sure your CPU isn't all worked up. I guess 150MBs of RAM reserved for your browsers would be good enough to run the website properly.

Uh, yes, it might be a "me" thing.  Or it might be an "everyone who runs a cheapo, not super-fast, not a lot of ram sorta computer" thing.  I dunno either.

or maybe its the internet connection.. didn't experienced any lag

Of course, internet connection is a thing.  However, and while this may not applyt the super-cool among you with your octa-core processors and 32GB of ram or whatever, those of us who run more pedestrian setups experience max CPU issues when running the all bets tab.  If you fall into this category (like me and Micro) then you may find your performance enhanced by clicking over to the my bets or highrollers tab (like me and Micro).

Cheers!
That's not a solution. People with such problems often have a hard time in chatting and in playing pvp. Its beeter to free up some RAM and CPU usage.

No , if u are away from all bets tab u will have very smooth chat and pvp. Before when there was total bets counter it was bit more hard on CPU but now if u move away from all bets ur cpu should not go over 5-10% and everything runs smooth .

Now when i am on all bets its about 30-50% cpu which isnt to bad but yeah go to hr tab or my bets and its much better .
All I am saying is that there may be cases when your CPU usage and RAM gets consumed by other processes on your computer and there may not be enough RAM and CPU left for the browser to even display the HR tab and chat messages properly(have seen this happening with people), so its better to close the unessential processes.

I am interested in buying this VPS. Just want to know that are your running this machine by yourself or are you getting it from somewhere else?
Also how can you assure me that you wont mess up with the data stored on the VPS?
Can you provide me this VPS for free for just like 1day(just want to make sure that all the things are all right)?
558  Other / Meta / Re: How many type of ban? on: March 30, 2015, 08:00:54 AM
Insubstantial posts + paid signature spam = 14 days, 60 days, permanent
Ban evasion = ban length x 2

Other than that I don't think it's written in stone. I can request 3 days ban for a user for small warning about changing their behavior.
Sometimes the ban is also for like 7days so I don't think that 14days is the minimum.

What is the sentence for users who don't have a signature campaign but still seem to be cutting posts short? [Do you have to assume the account is being farmed to sell?]
Accounts without any paid signatures usually go unnoticed and so the accounts which are being farmed don't "usually" get banned.
But I don't think admins like spamming for account farming and so if they catch any such account(s) then they ban it.
But at the same time its very difficult to identify such account and its not possible for BadBear to keep a check on each and every account, so to get those accounts banned you should report such accounts to badbear(via PM) and he will definitely investigate and take care of the report.

Nice to see a poker website with a mobile friendly design after a long time.
I guess you are pretty new in the market so it would be nice if you guys build a trust amongst the community by signature campaigns and advertisements and also you need to attract some people who will actually"play", do you have any deposit bonuses and free chips for first few users?
