541  Economy / Trading Discussion / trading purely based on luck. on: October 03, 2023, 10:09:35 PM
I tried to trade without any analysis, relying only on luck, I was flipping a coin for each trade I entered.
During a three day period, I initiated three trades per day, each with a small profit target and a stop-loss order. Surprisingly, these results outperformed the trades I made based on speculation and trend analysis.
it is important to note that the long term outcome remains uncertain.
I considered this experiment a success mainly due to the fact that I was trading on a demo account with no emotional involvement, and the trades automatically closed when they reached their stop loss levels, and I did not make impulsive decisions to alter the stop loss orders.
In real trading scenarios, emotional factors, such as adjusting stop-loss levels and increasing leverage, often lead to losses.
542  Local / India / Re: Gemini Exchange planned to invest 200 Crores INR on: October 03, 2023, 09:52:15 PM
snip
Gemini's decision to invest INR 200 crores ($24 million) in India is a smart move. Despite the 30% crypto tax, India offers many advantages for businesses like:
  • Talent: India has smart people, like Google and Microsoft CEO's sunder, making it great for tech ventures.
  • Cost Efficiency: Low living costs mean you can do more with less money then any other country.
  • Government Support: Initiatives like "Startup India" supports business growth.
  • Infrastructure: India has good physical and digital infrastructure.
  • Big Market: With 1.3 billion people, it's a huge market for products and getting new ideas.
  • English: Most people in India speak English, making it easy for global business.

So, despite challenges, India remains an attractive place for businesses to grow.
543  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: chart reading and prediction on: October 03, 2023, 09:32:03 PM
everyone on twitter, insta reel and youtube is making prediction related to different cryptos based on chart lines. Do you still believe these chart reading?
When influencers provide content related to crypto price predictions, I prefer to use their knowledge and make it a new insight, not use it as a benchmark or belief that we don't research more deeply. Because in terms of determining predictions we will again be faced with the decision to buy or not, to invest in crypto or not. So my advice is that you only need to take positive points like the methods they apply. Because that's just what we need to take, not believe it without reconsidering the decision. One more thing that influencers do when they predict is usually for commercial purposes, namely being paid so that what they talk about becomes profitable because it has attracted beginners to enter.
It's really important to be careful when it comes to crypto and investing. Don't just blindly trust anyone, no matter if it's an influencer, big company, or even just a person with good intentions. It's hard to predict what the future holds for stocks and cryptocurrencies, so it's important to do your research and make sure you know what you're getting into. YouTube and other social media platforms have become a hotbed for crypto promotion, but not everyone has your best interests at heart. You might see "shitcoins" being promoted or people getting paid to promote shady projects, which can be really risky for new investors. Don't just jump into something just because you see it online - do your research and learn more about the technology, team, use case, and long-term potential. Your financial security should always come first.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Getting paid on gambling accounts on: October 03, 2023, 07:08:17 PM
You would really be ending up on having that kind of regret on the time that you do spend up those campaign payments with gambling activity specially if its credited out on a gambling account.
It was a really bad experience. One time, I got two weeks' worth of money in my gambling account, but I lost it all in just 10 seconds. So, if anyone else gets money in their gambling account,
I suggest you stop doing that and use a different kind of wallet.
Also, if you're thinking about making small bets to save a little money on fees, don't do it. Trying to save a little money could end up costing you everything.
545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Getting paid on gambling accounts on: October 02, 2023, 12:23:22 PM
It’s important for me to tell this story so that others don’t make the same mistake I did. This has been a huge life lesson in managing money and emotional self-discipline .

Wow, so you mean to tell me that you submitted your gambling wallet address to your campaign manager when he requested your payment address? Sorry to say this but that wasn’t a wise decision.

The reason why we always calculate how much we are going to put in our gambling account is to make sure we don’t over spend and trust me if you have up to a million dollars in your gambling account you won’t be aware of when you’ll finish everything and that’s why you see people come to the forum and give stories of how they spent over ten thousand dollars in a week on their gambling account and for you to have been receiving your payment in your account seems like a dumb mistake IMO.

Yes, it was a stupid mistake and I thought I would withdraw it after I received it in my gambling account but it was out of my control due to greed and recovering the initial small payment I received.
Because of that small amount I lost more than this many times.
I’m sharing this because a lot of smart people also act like stupid sometimes.
It’s easy to say but it’s hard to follow through every time.
546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling on: October 02, 2023, 12:15:28 PM
Is this thread should be added?
I have done a mistake of getting payment on gambling site, later losing it all in hope of increasing that amount a little more.
a small lesson: keep your hard earned money away from gambling.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Getting paid on gambling accounts on: October 02, 2023, 12:11:18 PM
I made a mistake of getting paid for signature campaign in gambling platform accounts.
When I got my payment, I thought I would slowly increase the amount by about 5-10% before I initiate a withdrawal. But I quickly lost control of my emotions and ended up blowing the entire balance of my account. This happened more than once, it happened about 5 times as I received money from different sources.
It’s important for me to tell this story so that others don’t make the same mistake I did. This has been a huge life lesson in managing money and emotional self-discipline .
548  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotions dealing on: October 02, 2023, 11:58:17 AM
Now I can control my emotions in trading. It's just that I don't understand chart patterns. Even though indicators are very helpful, I believe chart patterns must be mastered. now I have bought XRP at the top price. but I'm not in a hurry to sell it. This is just a bit of a beginner's mistake I guess. I just believe in predictions not with feelings like many people use because they always contain emotions.

I think you're missing a lot of  beginner mistakes, like buying high, selling low, FOMO, etc.
Chart patterns are the basic elements that we learn about first. It is  difficult to control emotions when trading if you make rookie mistakes like buying XRP at a high price,
so how can you control emotions in trading when you don't have much trading experience?
549  Local / India / Re: We need active people on: October 02, 2023, 11:39:38 AM
Just a suggestion I used utopia app and played poker game to write a review, really it was easy and fun experience.
you can try to promote utopia on other big sites where privacy matters the most, like on 4chan like sites. where the people who concern about privacy visit the site.
if you will promote utopia to people who take interest in it, they will use the site regularly and will become active members.

552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling on: October 02, 2023, 05:27:42 AM
For me, the best practice is to have a separate account for games, an email and phone number that I use only for this activity. It’s easier to separate the industry and everyday life, and thus the chance of my account being hacked is much less since it doesn’t appear almost anywhere.I know several people who do the same.
I don't know why you are so worried about getting gambling account hacked because we just deposit money which we can afford to lose we do not deposit amount here like we do in bank account.
Having different phone number, email, etc. For the money which we want to or going to lose in the end..?

553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: October 01, 2023, 02:22:58 PM
So here the most important thing is that there is no problem if gambling is carried out among women if they can control their thoughts, are disciplined and responsible when carrying out these activities and can bear all the risks they will face from their gambling activities.[/left]
I think anyone who plays gambling must have taken all the risks when they started entering the casino. No matter male or female, when they create an account at a casino and start gambling, they must be prepared for failure.
Regarding men or women who spend more money at the casino, I think it's all the same. When you have enjoyed the game, no one can actually control or force you to stop before you feel satisfaction.
Everything would really be equal and its totally nonsense if you do pertain about on a certain gender in speaking about winning rate or chances which we know that it cant really be just that a solid
indication for you to win because chances or odds would be entirely be random and would really be depending on how lucky you are. It is really just that not shocking that the community would really be that too judgmental when it comes to different gender which if they do see you to be a women or girl and then involved with gambling activity then people around would be having that odd impression
that they shouldn't really be here.

There's no indeed difference as we do all know because it cant really be just that men are the ones who could play gambling but also women too. Its for free for everyone
and as long you do have the money to be spend then it would really be just that you do have the right on playing gambling as you like.

If we talk about how they play man and woman don't have any different cause we are all know that both of them man and women once they are in gambling they can not predict the outcome of their bet. So literally  speaking there no gender who are pro in gambling. But if we talk about addictions then there are many woman can control themselves so that we can say us that woman cactrol away from addictions while men there's a high chance of involve in addiction.
Women are more able to limit themselves when gambling, when they lose they have no ambition to get back their winnings, it could be that gambling is done by women, just for entertainment, very different from most men, many of them make the wrong move by using gambling to earn income in a short time.  So that gambling addiction is more dominantly felt by men than women
Well, women might be more capable to control or limit themselves when they're playing but I think this still depends on how you treat gambling. Because regardless of the gender, anyone can control themselves, as well as go beyond their limit.

Therefore it's not about the gender. If men can do unimaginable things just to feed their gambling addiction, women are not different. I remember a woman here who sell her baby because of gambling. She used the money to continue her gambling activity and pay her debt due to gambling. This might be an isolated case for woman gambler, but still happening. It's just that, majority of gamblers are men than women so we know more men are getting addicted to it.
A gambling addiction that has gone too far will always do unexpected things and I hate gamblers like that.
Gambling addiction does have a bad impact on women or men, so they do things that are inappropriate, but they still do it just to fulfill their desire for gambling.
I don't like gambling behavior that is irresponsible and has a negative impact on society. This is really very disturbing whether it is a woman or a man, it depends on those who react to gambling.
A gambling addict has his mind totally absent to this new things and experiences they just want to recover their losses and make more money gambling they can do anything for it.
people who know them(like wife, brother, friends) need to tell them and show them good path and how to escape from this gambling addiction,
they don't even able to think outside gambling, it will be better to stop gambling immediately and forget about the losses and start a new begenning my saving and investing.
554  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: October 01, 2023, 02:14:57 PM
Aside the above, I have seen and used platforms where one is allowed to deposit but can't withdraw without kyc,

Mostly trusted casinos don't do like this,
hey allow us to deposit and withdraw without kyc but for sometimes like 1-3 times after making an account.
after you deposited and withdrawn many times they will ask for kyc or after reaching their withdrawal limit they will ask for KYC.

and if any casino ask for KYC when you try to withdraw first time... and all are money is you won from casino then probably the casino is a scam.
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Changed the game you gamble on? share your story. on: October 01, 2023, 02:05:14 PM

556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading can ruin you on: October 01, 2023, 01:51:40 PM
Trading is most times profitable and sometimes challenging to traders, but it can ruin you just as gambling if you don't know how before venturing into it,  I have had a handful of terrible experience while trading and I discovered that it can return you to square one in terms of your finances if precautions is not taken.

Though am a better trader now, but I still thred with caution,  the best way for newbie to navigate their way in the market is to buy and hold, then sell when the price goes up.
When it comes to future market, newbie should stay off because it's for experience traders, even if you run a poll of people to tell of their experience in trading in this forum, %80 of people will rule out trading as a no go area based on their terrible experience while trading.

So newbie, stay of trading futures if you know nothing about technical analysis or fundamental analysis for not to be ruined.
Trading is "sometimes" profitable not "most times" because experience traders also face losses more than wins sometimes. If anyone is trading without any knowledge of it, how the market works, then they are like gambling with their money.
Future market is for people who have good win rate in spot trading and want to profit more using less money then they come to futures and leverage trading.

OP is new to this forum maybe he is a experienced trader already so stop telling him "better you know now", "thank hod you know this now", etc.
557  Economy / Economics / Re: Early Retirement [Pros and Cons] on: October 01, 2023, 01:06:03 PM
Even if one is in a position to retire at an early age due to financial success, they may still experience feelings of dissatisfaction, boredom, and loneliness. If they are already sedentary and do not exercise regularly, their body may become diseased within three to four years, and their muscles may become rigid and painful. If they are tired of working and would like to take a short break to spend time with their family, they can do so.

559  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: are these all are receiving address? on: September 29, 2023, 06:31:42 AM
The ones in green are the receiving addresses while the ones in yellow are the change address. You can use any of them to receive bitcoin, but it is better you use the one in green.
If i used 3 different addresses at different places and received bitcoin in 3 different addresses, when i want to send all bitcoins to one address then i need to send them individually or i can send all amount of bitcoin from one click or one address.
or electrum will use one totally different sending address that includes all bitcoins from that 3 addresses and send them to one address.
560  Bitcoin / Electrum / are these all are receiving address? on: September 29, 2023, 06:20:34 AM
Just a small question front electrum.
