What gives you the assurance that Liverpool will be the club that will be this season EPL winner. You are too quick to judge because we just got to half of the season with 19 matches played, this cannot make you give Liverpool the favorite club to win because they are topping the league. If Arsenal has being topping the league for few weeks now and still they can't beat their chest to say that they will be the winner. I don't think Girona's squad is strong. There is no star player in their squad. But the understanding between the players is very good. And Girona's coach is very hardworking. Due to coach's mastermind and excellent match strategy, Girona team is performing very well in every match. The Real Madrid team is strong. Despite having some weaknesses in the attack, the team has been able to consistently perform well. Savio scored 4 goals and 5 assists. The bonding between the players is very good. The team's performance is consistent because of the good understanding between the players. Coach Sanchez's match strategy is also very good. More importantly, Girona is not dependent on any particular player. So when a player gets injured, it doesn't seem to affect their gameplay badly. Sanchez did a great work in Girona, for him to make sure that Girona game pattern and success does not depend on a particular player, because this is what do make a club to decline in performance when their key players are down with injury. Is only 2 ? I think being on 2nd place in LaLiga is really a great achievement that no one really anticipated before the season began. Personally , I think they will become champions of LaLiga just like Leicester did it a few years ago in EPL and I'm saying this because I've watched at least 6 games of Girona this season and this team is playing the best football in Spain right now and they should be champions as long as VAR or some referees won't screw them.

Girona's achievements after last season only reached 10th place and then this season competing at the top deserves the greatest appreciation. And what makes Girona unique is that their squad depth is not as good as Real Madrid or Barcelona. But their performance has matched Real Madrid and is currently even better than Barcelona.
