541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The risk and reward of having Bitcoin on: December 11, 2023, 08:00:13 AM
Your risk points are based either on investing recklessly or on not knowing how to protect your coins. If you created your wallet in an AirGap system and the entropy was truly random, and you stored your seeds correctly, then the chance of losing your money is almost non-existent.
The investment must be long-term, for two halving cycles on average, to avoid any real loss. It is true that it may not be the ideal investment, but adding Bitcoin to your investment portfolio is considered a smart move.
542  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: message Not enough funds. You need to set a lower fee. on: December 11, 2023, 07:53:16 AM
My first advice is to stop using ETA as a fee estimator option. Instead, use mempool since it's more accurate. Just make sure the "Target" is bellow 1 MB from tip for a fast confirmation.

If this does not work, the error may be due to trying to spend from inputs that have not been confirmed. Open Tools, then Preferences, and make sure that this option is not activated “Spend only confirmed coins”.
Then create a new transaction with a higher fee than the previous transaction.
543  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Which mining stocks are holding? on: December 11, 2023, 03:00:48 AM
It may seem like a good bet that the rise in the price of Bitcoin will encourage these companies to avoid selling their Bitcoin, especially during the coming year, and given that Bitfarms (BITF) is less exposed to the possibility of the Fed cutting interest rates due to its deleveraging campaign, I find that buying Bitcoin and investing in MARA It may give you a good chance to make a quick profit.
It is not investment advice and I do not advise you to go out of your way to invest long-term in these stocks.
544  Other / Meta / Re: Question about mixer signature. on: December 11, 2023, 02:48:50 AM
You cannot do that, as it is against the rule of no spamming and advertising outside signatures, but you can send a message to the campaign managers. There are still many active campaigns and I am certain that they are ready to add you. If you do not like the payment rate, create your own topic
545  Other / Archival / Re: 📌 [banned mixer] - Maximum Anonymity 🤖 Fees 1 - 5% on: December 11, 2023, 02:39:49 AM
It turns out that even bitcoins coming from an exchange can be flagged as dirty. Yesterday, my wife sent bitcoins from her account on kraken.com to my account on bitpapa.com. My Bitpapa account was blocked, and Bitpapa wrote:
I created this topic a while ago, in which you will find all the discussions related to Risk/AML score
These tools are not accurate and give results to the point that they cannot be relied upon as evidence in court and even Chainalysis failed to prove the accuracy of their results when there was an investigation.

The data showed that the volume of illegal transactions:

If the data is correct and compared to trading volumes and there is no regulated market, the percentage is very low.
546  Economy / Economics / Re: On retirement on: December 08, 2023, 08:22:57 AM
Even those who love work do not like restrictions. I can love my work, but if a specific number of compulsory hours are set for each day, I will definitely not like this work. If the work is without working hours and without specific tasks that must be carried out, it may not be profitable for the employer. People don't hate jobs as much as the obligations that come from these jobs, which are often a deduction from time for leisure, hobbies, jobs, or other things.
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador national treasury experience boost after Bitcoin surge. on: December 08, 2023, 08:04:55 AM
It is updated with every change in the price of Bitcoin. If the price rises, you will find news headlines saying, El Salvador has become a rich country because of Bitcoin investments, the country has gained billions of dollars from cryptocurrencies, or exactly the opposite if the price falls, Nayib Bukele is wasting tax money, or How El Salvador lost billions of dollars in useless investments
Based on investment numbers and total public debt, we find that Bitcoin alone will not improve the economic situation of that country.

548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Niger State Government About To Adopt Bitcoin As A Trade Subject on: December 08, 2023, 07:54:03 AM
The first time I heard about Niger was after the military coup a few weeks ago, which was followed by an attempt by them to remove the French role in controlling the aspects of the state, especially uranium. Therefore, I did not think that they would be open to discussing issues such as blockchain or teaching Bitcoin to children. Will this decision include the entire country or a group? Specific schools or how will it be included in the educational curricula? Because including such things in our educational curricula takes an average of 5 years and 3 years before it is approved, as the curriculum is amended every 5 years.
549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be enough to buy 100 dollars worth of Bitcoin every month? on: December 08, 2023, 03:51:49 AM
If you intend to invest for a long time and leave this money for ten or twenty years, it may be sufficient according to your country, but since you deal with Bitcoin as an investment, it is easy to predict prices compared to keeping this $100, and you will inevitably find that the value of your investment will increase, and it may increase faster if you decide Invest a large amount, such as $1,000, from one of your friends, and return it to him with $100 in the coming months.
550  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Sharakarma.com on: December 08, 2023, 03:43:57 AM
After digging and use some Google tools the site was published March 11, 2023, not 2022.
So all the information he provided above is not true.
I don't think he will come back again. He will try to promote the service in less strict forums and they do not care whether it is a scam or not, but it is difficult to believe that he will not create other accounts with other links.
551  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: alternative to coinomi (android) on: December 07, 2023, 06:52:20 PM
Why does this wallet continue to add and use Monero even though they know there is a synchronization problem for more than a year?
If it's abandoned, there may be nobody left to remove Monero.
There have been responses from the support team over the past year. It is funny that the support team works without an update from the technical team. https://coinomi.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/29000009675-how-much-do-i-have-to-pay-to-use-coinomi-how-do-i-set-fees-
I haven't read many articles, but some of the advice in the above article needs updating.
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any way to swap Bitcoin? on: December 07, 2023, 06:20:22 PM
The easiest solution is to download the Samourai wallet for Android or Sparrow for desktop devices, and then use Whirlpool (zerolink coinjoin implementation).

Learn more here
https://samouraiwallet.com/whirlpool
https://sparrowwallet.com/docs/mixing-whirlpool.html
https://bitcoiner.guide/whirlpool/

Using Bisq to mix your coins may not be a smart idea.
553  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: alternative to coinomi (android) on: December 07, 2023, 05:41:25 PM

Yesterday I had to receive some payment using XMR, and then I discovered Coinomi is supporting it (it generates addresses) but it doesnt sync and doesnt send coins. Terrible!

You have many closed source options for multi-currency wallets and I don't know why anyone would prefer to use currencies like XMR without open source wallets.
There is an easier solution, which is to use Cake wallet.
Why does this wallet continue to add and use Monero even though they know there is a synchronization problem for more than a year?
554  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: December 07, 2023, 04:28:58 PM
So, is chipmixer now compromised or just restricted on clearnet.
What do u think guys
The backend, server data, and hosting have been accessed by law enforcement authorities and this service will not work again. Any other site promoting this service is a scam, or at least you should not trust them with the same trust as chipmixer.
555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: best way to start on: December 07, 2023, 04:20:32 PM
It seems that English is not your native language. Perhaps you need to write in your local language or to better explain your idea.

The beginning is always difficult, but the content related to Bitcoin, which is available as open source, you will find everything you need here https://www.lopp.net/bitcoin-information.html. If you want more sources, you can read the sources mentioned in this topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5156874.0

happy learning journey.
556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Financial Services Commission (FSC) of Belize banned crypto it seams? on: December 07, 2023, 04:06:49 PM

Why not just let things be? Wouldn't it be better for their monitoring system to work if they have a way to understand the workflow of the transactions, pausing the transactions would mean that they're going to look harder because they're going to be making it difficul
They do this because it is easier for them to ban it than to look bad, and it indicates that they give CARF a priority and are trying to understand it before there is a clear regulatory framework. I think this will happen with some countries until there are successful experiences in regulating cryptocurrencies, which may need another light from The United States or the G7 countries before we see more countries taking serious steps.
557  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to avoid scams on the network? on: December 06, 2023, 04:12:45 PM
Give us advice to avoid scams on the network BTC
Assuming you have downloaded a non-custodial wallet and followed these instructions
https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum-docs/blob/master/malware.md Most likely all you need to do is make sure you are copying the correct address and not accept any transaction that has less than 1 confirmation.
The Bitcoin network is decentralized and attacks targeting the network are something you do not need to worry about at this stage.
558  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Sharakarma.com on: December 06, 2023, 04:03:57 PM
We have been working since March 2022, during this time more than 20,000 successful transactions in various directions have been performed.

The domain was registered in October, how has it been working since March?
20,000 successful transactions and we did not hear about you anywhere. I searched and did not find user opinions, whether positive or negative.

It is best to avoid making bank transfers with unknown services, as this may cause problems for the account holder and you will receive cryptocurrencies, which are easier to hide.
559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What's the current state of replay protection for the forks? on: December 06, 2023, 03:49:29 PM

Are there any safe non-KYC exchanges where I can do the swaps?
Since they are on a different blockchain, we cannot use the word swap. There are many non-kyc exchanges, and I used https://simpleswap.io with small amounts, so if the amount is less than $500, you can use them. for large amounts you can create a topic  in Currency exchange board and do By exchanging with a trusted member.
560  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium wallet import help. on: December 06, 2023, 03:41:17 PM
I have some coins on an address I created using mycelium wallet and I tried importing it to Trust wallet it worked but my balance was not displaying, I did the same for Exodu wallet and same thing happened.

The reason for this is the derivation path which is used by trustwallet m/84'/0'/0'/0/0 while Mycelium wallet is m/44'/0'/0'/0, the easiest solution is to list the seeds for Electrum and the balance will appear but since you have listed the seeds for closed source wallets, it is better to transfer your balance to a new address when the transaction fees are low.
