541  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 Official Partner of Newcastle United Football Club on: January 02, 2024, 05:40:44 AM
The winning is big for Liverpool if we only see the final result but during the match, it was not easy for Liverpool. They dominated this match, created many opportunities but had to wait till early of second half to get an opening goal. After that, it's an equalizer for Newcastle United by Isak. Even when Liverpool scored two more goals to lead 3 -1, they let Newcastle United to have another goal to make it only 3 -2. No guarantee that Liverpool can win the match with that temporary result but finally, Jota found a penalty for them, and Salah nailed the winning.

The Magpies come to Anfield with many shortcomings. Several main players were sidelined due to injuries, such as Trippier. Trying to get the best result against Liverpool on paper will definitely not work, but they can put up no less good resistance even though they have to admit defeat 4-2.

Liverpool won and the victory was not a big victory but an important victory to maintain their position in the standings table.
This victory made Liverpool ahead by 2 points from Manchester City, which I calculated from Manchester City's 20 matches even though currently they have only played 19 times.

A team experiencing a crisis will find it difficult to win against a team that is in the best form. Like Newcastle, when a storm of injuries occurs in their squad, it is difficult to explain what strategy is good for the coach to implement.
542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 01, 2024, 08:30:42 PM
Liverpool vs Newcastle united

This is an opportunity for Liverpool to take a comfortable lead on the top of the table with three points ahead the second place Aston villa, currently Liverpool are better in performance than Newcastle united because Newcastle united only won one match in last five matches while Liverpool won two matches. The game has started and let see how it's goes.

Liverpool dominated the game and that's what's happening now 25 minutes in. We will see the progress in the next 25 minutes.
By the way, Newcastle played an away match with many shortcomings which can be seen from the line up installed by Eddie Howe. Trippier and several main players suffered injuries. For me, hoping that the Magpies win this match is difficult.

For Liverpool, this match cannot afford to lose points. Even a draw could make them unsafe at the top of the standings because Manchester City could take over with one game remaining.
By the 30th minute of the match, Newcastle had only taken 1 shots. Liverpool is already 12.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health concern on: January 01, 2024, 08:05:18 PM
-snip-

My question is :
Do you know the status of your health while gambling and what do you do if you happen to suffer a mild or hard stroke?

This is why I make it a point to open my messenger and have my loved one that I can contact in case, whenever I'm playing alone.
I have never checked my health status apart from checking my blood type because I need to donate to my friend's family who need several bags of blood.
Mild or severe stroke sufferers who already know their status are not advised to gamble because they can experience the disease suddenly when they express victory or defeat after the game is finished.

The expression you get when you win a big enough win can make your heart rate not normal.
When that happens, I think a player whose health status does not experience symptoms of a stroke could have a different reaction, especially a player whose health status is known to have had a stroke. Mistakes can result in paralysis and loss of life.
544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What course can one study in university that can build potential in bitcoin? on: January 01, 2024, 07:38:19 PM
The time has passed when people go to university without considering studying a course that aligns with modern technology. Bitcoin and Blockchain technology are some of the areas one can consider building potential while choosing a course of study in a university.

Economics faculties and computer engineering faculties are still relevant and have something to do with Bitcoin for those who have chosen and have started studying.
In terms of economic facts, the course material taught is still around transactions and trading methods as well as market behavior that can be practiced in investment and trading activities by people who use Bitcoin as an investment and trading asset. Like me, who is currently studying at the economics faculty, majoring in management at a university.

For those who have chosen to study at an engineering faculty majoring in networking and programming, it is very closely related to Bitcoin technology.
But it depends on the person's will, even though the person is studying in that department, but there is no interest in focusing on that section.

Lectures are important as formal recognition in the social environment. However, if the goal is to be able to learn Bitcoin technology, lectures are not that important because there are many informal spaces that can be used as a place for learning such as courses.
We can also add loads by taking advantage of easy internet access.
545  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: REWIND SFI 2023 on: January 01, 2024, 05:01:36 PM
Kalau hanya mengumpulkan data momen penting selama setahun kebelakang khususnya di sub Indonesia, nampaknya sedikit gan.
Sekedar referensi tambahan, dulu om Manji pernah membuat semacam sejarah sub Indonesia, dari diskusi sebelum dan awal mula terbentuknya local board Indonesia, memilih moderator, dst.:
"Sejarah SF Indonesia".

547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying and Losing My First Bitcoin on: December 30, 2023, 07:29:51 PM
✂️ I had a hard time losing my first bitcoin.

How did it feel when you first invested in Bitcoin?

It's great to receive notifications indicating that Bitcoin has entered your wallet.
Losing Bitcoin because you don't know how to save it. For beginners, losing Bitcoin is due to various mistakes caused by not knowing how to store and maintain it.

I didn't immediately enter the world of Bitcoin investment even though someone told me about Bitcoin on one occasion. I learned slowly what I had to do before I entered it.
The first thing I learned was about wallets and their security. If I have a lot of money and can afford to buy Bitcoin, if I don't know how to store and maintain it, then I think it will be a waste. And for me, when I was still a beginner, learning about wallets and their security was the foundation for starting activities in Bitcoin and other coins.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 30, 2023, 02:15:13 PM
Chelsea is too early to get 1 goal in the 20th opening match against Luton which is taking place now.
Palmer was very difficult for Luton's defense to stop. Chelsea's 1 goal lead was purely a blunder by one of Luton's players who gave Palmer a pass. Kabore meant that the ball was given to his friend but because Palmer was too quick to cut the ball, he managed to shoot hard with his left foot which the Luton goalkeeper couldn't anticipate.

Chelsea temporarily doubled their lead again with 2 goals. With these two goals up to the 37th minute, I think Pochettino's team will lock in 3 points in this match.
I have no doubts that Chelsea will win because Chelsea's game is quite good.
Chelsea is stronger than Luton and I have hope that they will win the match today, which they have shown their superior over Luton by scoring two goals in the first half. From the look of the game, I don't think that Luton will be able to equalize these two goals in the second half because Chelsea is really dominating the match and they were in control of the first half. Luton is still finding it difficult to break the deadlock and I hope they will be able to do that in the second half. It is not yet over, until it is over and let's watch out what will be the outcome of this match by the end of the second half.

With normal time remaining, it is certain that Chelsea will win this match because the score is already 0-3.
Chelsea's attacks in this match were built through the wing sector and this strategy succeeded in making it difficult for Luton to decide on their attacks.
This strategy is worthy of being maintained by Pochettino in other matches.

To equalize, Luton managed to score 2 goals. 1 goal was disallowed because the Luton striker was caught offside first. The score has changed to 1-3, even though there are still around 15 minutes left in the match, I'm not sure the score will be a draw.
549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 30, 2023, 01:10:57 PM
Luton vs Chelsea is the headline of today's match and as everyone knows, Chelsea will likely have difficulty getting full points in this match. As a team in the relegation zone, Luton will definitely not make concessions to Chelsea, especially when they attack Luton with all their might to defend their goal from being conceded. The only strategy that Luton can use is to defend and therefore they will probably only try to take a draw.

550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is you who can't stop betting. on: December 29, 2023, 09:31:14 PM
Bets can not force one to stake, but a gambler can force themselves to stake a bet, even when he or she does not have money to bet. Some gamblers did not learn how to gamble. They just see themselves doing it, but they can't stop it. Why because they can't control themselves, even when they are not an addicted gambler?
What do we have to say about this?

The point that I get from this topic is that it is self-control that determines whether a gambler can stop gambling even though the gambler is not an addict and it is not money that determines whether or not a gambler can stop gambling.

Okay. I always like discussions about how to stop the habit of gambling, even though during my time on gambling boards I have often come across discussions like this before.

Not being able to control yourself is also called an addiction because it is an action that has psychological origins. For me, setting gambling goals must be carried into one's soul before entering into gambling.
Even though someone is not an addict, no one wants to be an addict because getting out of addiction is very difficult or not an easy job.
551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Must you lose before you gain in Bitcoin investment? on: December 29, 2023, 09:13:13 PM
Questions like this has popped out in several occasions and arguments concerning Bitcoin investment. My friends will say you must lose before you gain or rather have more experience investing in Bitcoin. If its how it work, Bitcoin isn't for a low income earner as well as not gonna make you rich when you can't invest something tangible to it. On the other hand people are been made big and wealthy in same program. What does it in tell,

Bitcoin is for everyone not for high earners. People with low incomes can also own Bitcoin. If Bitcoin works only for high-income people, then low-income people cannot own Bitcoin. For me Bitcoin is not like that. Everyone has the right to own Bitcoin if they have the desire to own it.

For me, investing experience in Bitcoin is not the main thing, but knowledge of Bitcoin as a whole is what is needed.
Once someone has the basics about Bitcoin, then investment experience needs to be increased, such as understanding how the market works. Bitcoin investments that are made for the long term with a set target, I don't think require much experience except for making Bitcoin an asset for trading.

Buy cheap sell high. It is difficult to implement or not as easy as one might think, at least in investment, the DCA method or regular savings is a very simple investment pattern that can be done by people who want to invest their money in Bitcoin.
552  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODLers, When Will You Sell? on: December 29, 2023, 09:27:35 AM
I see wallets that their owners never moved coins from for 10 years and wonder how they do it.

Not me, but other holders who kept Butcoin in their wallets for years. In my opinion, they chose a Bitcoin wallet that wasn't just random. They take good care of everything related to access to their assets such as seed phrases, private keys and passcodes, of course keeping them away from internet connections.

This is very common, but my guess is that they do it — hold Bitcoin for years that way.

If you are amazed, carry out storage steps properly and correctly. You will be a winner with the Bitcoin you have.

If you're a HODLer, when do you hope to sell? Would you cash out if Bitcoin soars to $100,000 or sit back and wait until it gets to a million?

Some time ago, I spent some Bitcoin from my wallet for urgent needs. Hoping to sell at the highest price and will try to hold it in the wallet until the new ATH comes. This means that if Bitcoin reaches $100,000 USD in the future, then I will cash out most of the amount of Bitcoin I have which I am trying to continue to increase little by little.

If that happens within the next year from now, then that's the time limit I will hold.

Are you still checking the old submissions? I had a submission on 21 November but never got any response. (I know you are only human, not a robot). I understand. I'm just checking if everything is still in the process or not.

Of course, I am still progressing. Slow and steady.
For your guidance, it’s pretty straightforward to see where I got reviewing, as I usually give merit to the post with the links.
I am currently around 28 of September, or page 43.
I am also travelling, so I have some difficulties on these days without my usual setup to get on par with distribution pace.

Enjoying holidays while doing activities will not be optimal, perhaps patience is needed for every user who has created an application for review.
I really understand the situation you are in right now even though I haven't submitted a single review application in this thread yet. Have a nice holiday, @fillippone.
Sorry about this.

@DYING_S0UL, page 43 not yet complete, just got to #847 which has been reviewed by the OP.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Know, But Can i Invest In Bitcoin? on: December 28, 2023, 06:22:52 PM
Should I invest money with the suggestion of that guy? He told me that if I invest I will get good profit. He said, he will open my bitcoin wallet and help to buy bitcoins. Should I invest in bitcoin?

Investing is a good action to do because the aim is to make a profit. There are many types of investments that can be made according to your wishes. Bitcoin investment can save the value of money apart from getting big profits.
I cannot completely justify people's thoughts regarding Bitcoin investment about the opportunity to gain wealth because Bitcoin is not a get-rich-quick scheme.

Previously, you should know that Bitcoin is a currency, an innovative payment network. People who use Bitcoin as an investment asset are not wrong because many people use Bitcoin as an investment asset because it can be used as a hedge, although in my opinion the purpose of creating Bitcoin was not for investment but as a currency that makes it easy for users to make transactions throughout the world.

You have to think first when someone says Bitcoin investment, you need to know!
Should you invest in Bitcoin? If you know how fiat currencies experience decline all the time, then investing in Bitcoin is an option.
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: December 28, 2023, 09:22:28 AM
So CR7 scoring lots of goals in the SPL is not an easy matter. And if there are European players who underestimate this. I think they should come here and see for themselves. Because I think playing in the SPL now is the same as playing in other European leagues. Maybe not as good as the Premier League or Laliga. But I think the SPL will approach that level in the coming years.

Sourch; https://sport.detik.com/

Cristiano was able to score 19 goals in 17 matches this season because the defenders he faced were not as good as the defense lines in European leagues, so it was easy for Cristiano Ronaldo to continue adding goals in every match he played in the remainder of the 2023/2024 season. What do you think if someone assumes something like that?

According to many sources, the popularity of the Saudi Pro League has increased drastically because of Cristiano Ronaldo and a number of players who have played in big leagues in Europe. Increasing SPL broadcasting rights based on data is a guide to justify this.

One point that is unpleasant to hear is that the SPL can still be determined which team will be champion at the end of the season. This rumor was clarified when Al Nassr lost 3-0 against Al Ahli in round 15.
556  Economy / Gambling / Re: PvP Games in Casinos | What's your thoughts? on: December 28, 2023, 08:25:08 AM
I've recently discovered the concept of PvP gambling games, and it really fascinates me.

I would like to research this topic more. Could you please share any PvP Games you like and any interesting articles about this concept if you know any?

I think you shouldn't miss seeing rollbit.com with the latest PvP games and with a unique concept in this type of duel arena game.

The duel arena game concept launched by rollbit.com makes players feel pleasure when playing because players choose their own characters to duel with challengers.
For me, this PvP duel arena game is probably the first with a 0% edge.

558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 27, 2023, 09:30:12 PM
So far, Everton is leading with 1 goal. But Man City really dominated the match. I think Man City probably plays more offensively in the second half. So, I'm not really sure that Everton will win the match. If their defense is strong enough, I think Everton can try to get a draw in this match. Let's see how Everton can deal with Man City attack.

Everton's lead with 1 goal was only temporary according to what I saw of this match which had lasted 52 minutes or 7 minutes after the first half break.
Manchester City does not want the opportunity to be in the competition for the Premier League title to be lost because they have just lifted a prestigious trophy.
In fact, Everton will have difficulty competing to move away from their position in the standings.

That's right. I won't edit it again.
559  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My btc and eth general trading stradegy best so far on: December 27, 2023, 09:15:44 PM
For btc limit buy orders: btc buy limit orders: 30k 26k 25k 24k 22k 21k 20k 17k 15k 10k 8k 7k 6k 5k 4k 3k 2k 1k then Even just in case smaller orders 500 350 120 50

This buy order will be filled automatically when the Bitcoin price decreases from the current price. My mind asks, can you wait until the price drops to the limit you mentioned? How confident are you of a decline?

Everything is your decision, but in my opinion you should not set the buy price order at a price below 30K. If you want to buy, why not consistently use the DCA method which is familiar among investors.
For me, applying DCA is a form of precaution so as not to continue falling asleep so that the dream goes too far.
Okay. Up to you. Good luck.
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin POW to POS the key? on: December 27, 2023, 07:22:32 PM
I have found another solution to remove this obstacle in Bitcoin but I don't know if this idea is acceptable to the majority. If you remember what happen to Ethereum way back 2017, it encountered this such problem.
They made Ethereum to POS from POW as a solution to this problem, and it's called ETH 2.0

If there will be a Bitcoin 2.0 or a change of network from POW to POS then not only the network congestion is being fixed but many more, and also it can reduced the energy consumption.

If Bitcoin switches to PoS from PoW, then Bitcoin is nothing more than an Altcoin and there is nothing special about it anymore.
From what I know so far, miners under PoW work to crack hashes, cryptographic numbers and verify transactions requiring rewards[1]. This means that miners also need profits. If you switch to PoS, then you are no longer a miner but a validator and Bitcoin is no longer different from altcoins.

Even though someone has already said it, I will repeat it again because I think it is true that switching from PoW to PoS is not a solution.
Switching from PoW to PoS based on the whitepapers I read, it will never happen.
Whitepaper is the beginning of the launch of Bitcoin with a unique concept. 21 million Bitcoins is a great innovation from Satoshi that will never change.

Actually, this is beyond my capabilities, especially regarding the offer to remove BRC-20 which was proposed as a solution to high transaction fees.

p.s. correct me if I'm wrong
