541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Increased Gambling Risk for the Younger Generation on: January 21, 2024, 06:11:19 PM
With the easy accessibility of the online gambling sites and tools, the younger generation is more involved in gambling. The risk for them is not only that they will lose money but gambling at such a high rate and at the age of teenage will cause them a lot of problems like lack of physical activity or no interest in the studies as they will more inclined to get easy entertainment in the form of gambling.

The most effective way to address this issue is for the parents and teachers to play their part and convince the young generation the do and don't of gambling and how it can harm our personality and life if we are addicted to it.

Gambling risks are rising for young people

What is it with everyone acting so weak? We must eliminate all gambling from the world or we will burn in hell type attitudes. Gambling has been around forever and it's not going anywhere anytime soon.

Instead of this gambling is evil attitude and our kids will suffer, how about you teach your children the risks? Teach people that gambling is for fun, not for life. Let them know not only the risks, but the rewards as well. Can't just teach the bad.
542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Patience can help alot on: January 21, 2024, 04:45:38 AM
The game of gambling isn't something that people with low patience can survive be it the different types of gambling @sports betting  @casino games like dice and slots, patience is still the key to survive. Sometimes anxiousness and anxiety can make a gambler take decision that he might end up regretting.

Today I experience this ill feeling although am okay now but I thought I should share my experience and thought with some of the gamblers here to see if we are on the same page.

I made a very wrong decision on a game I staked today and this is unlike me because I don't normally check on my games until its settled because sometimes you will tempted with some crazy things like cash-out which is what I did today and although you won't blame me to some extent but still if I was patient enough as the final results if the games came through and Instead of winning the whole money, I got only a fraction of the funds.
I don't agree. I've made some rash and irrational decisions on dice that ended up paying off huge. Sometimes taking a risk is how you get rich. I've had some massive hits on dice playing crazy. I've also had some massive losses, just saying that sometimes risk and no patience can pay off. I don't suggest it, but if you can afford the risk ya know.

Vitalik Buterin Took to Twitter to share Some of His Financial Advice.
quoting a Tweet About Bill Gates and Warren Buffett He Wrote:

Quote
Some actual financial advice:

* Diversification is good.
* Save. Get to the point where you have enough to cover multiple years of expenses. Financial safety is freedom.
* Be boring with most of your portfolio.
* Don't use >2x leverage. Just don't.

What are Your thoughts about his financial advice guys? I like the first and 2nd which I've been doing by myself too.
He forgot to put no love life. If you got a girlfriend/wife or whatnot, you likely aren't thinking about saving. Looking to impress most likely and get all the action she will give.

Solid advice or course, but how easy is it depending on your circumstances?
544  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wolf.bet not paying out winnings (at the moment) on: January 21, 2024, 01:29:05 AM
Hello, I played at wolf.bet last night, making a small deposit, in ltc.
I won the equivalent of 1050 dollars regularly, I requested a withdrawal 21 hours ago but at first they told me that it would take a maximum of 24 hours, now speaking in chat with one of their representatives they tell me that it will take longer because they have to check carefully whether did I cheat or not. do you have experience with this casino? do they always do this? will they pay or are they a scam casino?

thanks in advance
Played on wolf.bet a load and never had 1 issue. Didn't matter the amount I cashed out, was always paid pretty quick.

As long as you did nothing fishy, you'll get your funds.
545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: January 21, 2024, 12:12:11 AM
Tho of freaking course Love looks to be a rising star. My god, GB has some sort of QB drafting cheat code.

It's not a cheat code they draft and have them sit behind the veteran for a year or 2 or 3 to learn the system before throwing them to the dogs.

You're not wrong at all.  That's how it used to be where rookies would come in, sit for 2-3 years and learn the nfl.  Now it's just fire them out there and cross your fingers it works out.  Most of these kids are shell-shocked out of the league before they shoukd have even been starting.

With that being said it's fooooootball time!! Love this time of year.  Enjoy the games fellas

There’s def something to that for sure. Tho Favre and Rodgers are two of the best ever, so they’d likely still have been great regardless but preparing before being thrown in certainly helps a lot. I understand throwing in say Cam Newton (imo best college player ever), andrew Luck, and others who were clearly NFL ready from the start. Not that sitting behind someone for a year wouldn’t still have been very helpful.

Praying Caleb Williams is truly a once in a decade prospect like he’s been touted and doesn’t get ruined by A going in too soon and B Da Bears.  Unless they keep Fields which ..no thanks.
I saw a story where kliff Kingsbury interviewed for the offensive coordinator job in Chicago. He's familiar with Caleb as he is working with the USC football team. Could go a long way in making Williams feel comfortable going to Chicago.

They may keep fields and sit Williams for part of the season unless a really good offer comes in, but who's gonna give up much f9r a guy who's won less than 20 games?
546  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Opinions on Mexc GLobal on: January 20, 2024, 10:54:33 PM
If the reason for choosing the exchange was possibly no kyc, I'd go ahead and use a regular bigger name and get security. Looks like a user posted this exchange is asking KYC. I personally have never heard of the exchange and have nothing good or bad to say, but I like to feel safe when it comes to money and would go with the bigger name.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: January 20, 2024, 05:31:08 PM
Lions Bucs may be the best game in terms of having no clue who may win.

This will be a fun one to watch, for sure. If Mayfield continues the trajectory he's on, they have a good chance of winning. I shoulda paid more attention to the trajectory that Jalen Hurts was on before making my last bet, LOL. Kind of an opposite direction.

As for the other games, I agree with you -- I don't see the Texans letting the Ravens beat them by more than 9 points, and I don't see the Packers letting the 49ers beat them by more than 9 points. Not putting my money where my mouth is, but all 4 games will be fun to watch, regardless.
Playoff football, these lines are ridiculous. Almost like they're saying the Texans and Green Bay are trash.

The 49ers and Ravens are 2 very good teams, but I think the games will be very competitive. Baltimore are the favorites to win it all, but I'm liking this CJ Stroud.
548  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit stole my withdrawal… please help on: January 20, 2024, 02:39:35 AM
If you were talking to support and were advised to wait 30 days to reactivate, then it sounds like you already knew about the self exclusion. Then once you were not able to reactivate the account, you decided to break the ToS. Correct me if I'm wrong?

It is your responsibility to know the ToS of the sites you sign up on. So, since you broke their terms they can pretty much do as they want including confiscating your winnings, refunding your deposit, or ignoring you.
549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: January 19, 2024, 07:20:24 PM
It appears everyone in this thread was correct. It was announced that Mike McCarthy will be the head coach for next season.

Owner Jerry Jones explained his decision in a statement:
"I believe this team is very close and capable of achieving our ultimate goals and the best step forward for us will be with Mike McCarthy as our head coach. There is great benefit to continuing the team's progress under Mike's leadership as our head coach.

On the divisional games, I worry for the Ravens, the Lions and the Bills. The Texans defense are not to be underestimated and we have already witnessed the difference between Lamar on the regular season and Lamar of the post season.

On the Lions, I am not very optimistic on them after the wildcard game vs. the Rams.

On the Bills. Patrick Mahomes and Taylor Swift.
Jerry Jones is delusional. They paid Dak and lost all their receiver talent when they did. They now have Cee Dee Lamb who is good, but cannot do it all. Yes they have other receivers, but none that are awesome. Pollard is declining, guy looked great when competing for playing time with Zeke, but has dropped off since getting the starting job. The defense is solid, but didn't show up in the playoffs.

I'm not sure if the problem is 100% McCarthy, but the guy isn't doing a great job when it matters. Look at all the teams the Cowboys beat and look who beat them. They played terrible vs teams with a winning record. I would have probably let McCarthy go and got me an offensive coach.
550  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: January 19, 2024, 06:38:35 PM
It's fun guys, govs hardly avoid accepting Bitcoin is money, but when it comes to gambling then users are risking money, so, casinos need a license.

Let's be honest, If you can deposit, wager, and withdraw. I don't see where the license is in the process...

Just want to say Fuck Curaçao, the island in the middle of nowhere who decide to take the crypto gambling industry in their hands and make billions of dollars with it. Who the fuck they are to wash money this way?

Crypto gambling needs freedom, and i insist in this point. If you can Deposit, Wager and Widrawal, then you don't need anything else.  And a big shout out to those casinos who still working until now without a license, freebitco.in, Just-Dice.com, bustabit.com... They are big examples of how crypto gambling should be.
Unfortunately governments always look to step in in any way they can. It's only going to get worse and worse for the crypto user I think. Governments are going to look for more and more control and make sure they get their piece of the pie.

Could be worse man and there be no online gambling at all. How can we improve and take control away from the governments?
551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NFL Playoffs & Super Bowl Prediction Thread on: January 19, 2024, 12:37:23 AM
For the Bucs vs. Lions match, i'm liking the Lions to win only because they've been tested against different teams, and they already beat the Bucs in the regular season.

My only counter to this is that Baker Mayfield has been on a meteoric rise -- I like the trajectory of his season. But sure enough, the line is currently -6.5 Lions. For me its still a hard game to call. Gonna put some thought into it & come back with my definitive playoff picks tomorrow.

Here's what teams I like for outright wins:

Ravens
49ers
Chiefs (the only upset at +2.5 -- they have a tremendous amount of post-season experience)
I think this is the year Josh Allen takes out Mahomes. Chiefs receivers are just not awesome and drop the ball a lot. The bills look great, Allen running smart with the ball vs his usual reckless style. Gonna be the game of the weekend, but I think the Bills pull it off and win outright. Forget the points.
552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 18, 2024, 07:11:24 PM
Like I said earlier before the trade happened. The Raptors are waving the white flag and they are on a journey to rebuilding which I think is a great move from them. They saw nothing was happening for the team and it was time to move on. They already traded great important pieces like OG Anunoby (recent), Kyle Lowry, and Fred VanVleet, it's time to move on and create a new roster that would highlight Scottie Barnes.
Better do it early than act late. Soon they might not find some good trades to best fit their goal and now they are a winner because of the three first-round picks they received. Who knows if one of those players will be the next star of the NBA?
Indiana Pacers on the other hand could start building chemistry with the other players as soon as possible and all he needs is to wait for Haliburton to come and I am sure they will be more of a scary team. The Pacers lack the defense and a big man, but Siakam can do both offense and defense so I think it's a big win for them.
It seems though that they have traded everyone from their championship team when Kahwi lead it? There was talks that they can still make it when Kawhi leaves but it looks like that it was not the case for the Raptors and I do agree that they are now in the rebuilding phase, perhaps the last important pieces to say that the Raptors will have a new look has been traded in Pascal Siakam.

But I was surprised that he goes to Pacers or at least Indiana is very much interested on him. And I do agree that they are the winner in the trade as we will see a immediate impact for them as Pascal is going to be in their starting 5 and help the team since Haliburton is still out. I don't think that they lack a big man inside, they still have Miles Turner. Obi and Pascal though will have to fight it out for the PG position, but there is going to be depth from the Pacers.

Pascal is definitely going to be a very big asset for the Indiana Pacers. In my opinion, he is going to contribute to the team a lot as well. So I think it is easy to say that this was a win for the Indiana Pacers. I think we can also say any doubt that the player is also in his prime time, right? At least that's what I think when I consider his age. Yes I cant deny sometimes the performance from the Indiana pacers has been a little inconsistent in recent times. however I think they have the capability of improving the performance and being a lot more consistent.

I also think that Pascal was because the team was very interested in him, an surely  this was a good decision. Now if this was a good decision or not for the team, we will be able to know that later by watching him perform.
IMO this trade made the Pacers a very strong team in the East. I will have to see how the chemistry is between everyone, but if it's good then the Pacers are going to be very tough to beat. Definitely could go very deep in the playoffs with the acquisition.
553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: January 18, 2024, 04:22:53 AM
@yahoo62278. There is something inside of me that will certainly not be surprised if CJ Stroud and the Texans give the Ravens fans a panic attack. Lamar on the regular season is a different quarterback from Lamar during the playoff heheheheheee.

On the Packers and Jordan Love, Christian McCaffrey is healthy and he rested during week 18. The 49ers will win the game and against the spread.

On Belichick, it might be better for him to be the head coach of the Cowboys? Dak Prescott is certainly a good QB.
The issue with Belichick and the Cowboys is Jerry Jones. Bill is going to want a lot of control and Jerry isn't going to give it up, not to mention he will meddle anywhere he can.
554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: January 18, 2024, 02:08:55 AM

@yahoo62278. After witnessing how the Lions played against the Rams, Baker Mayfield might win another playoff game, I reckon hehehehe.
I would like to see Baker, Jordan Love, or CJ Stroud win this year. I know the Ravens are the favorites, but the other 3 I just mentioned would be better stories. A rookie winning would possibly be history being made(I'd have to look that up), Baker was written off after Cleveland, and Jordan Love went from 0 to hero in 1 season.

Atlanta is being labeled as the favorites as Belichick has shown that he cannot win without a good QB. He hasn't been shit since Brady and honestly I think if he didn't have Brady he wouldn't have this Legacy of 1 of the greatest coaches out there. The Falcons have a QB that's not considered a top QB at all, but have the 8th pick in the Draft. They could trade up or decide to keep their spot and pick up 1 of the many QBs in next years draft.
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING DISORDER on: January 17, 2024, 11:52:16 PM
How can one control the uncontrollable urge to keep gambling despite the toll it takes on once life.

It's getting worse every day. I'm extremely depressed I have thoughts of unaliving myself more often, some times I feel the betting companies manipulate people spiritually to get them addicted where be playing without plans and strategy. Once a bet place get cut, there is this uncomfortable urge to quickly book another one with the plans of recovering the first money lost but it will end up cutting again.
Read a book, go to a psychiatrist, take up a hobby, start a relationship. What I am saying is basically look for a distraction or another way to occupy your time. Get you a support system made up of family and friends and ask them to help you stay busy and keep your mind busy and not thinking about gambling.
556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: January 17, 2024, 10:42:01 PM
Everyone needs to keep an eye in the Indiana Pacers now after their big trade today. They acquired Pascal Siakam from Toronto today.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba/sources-pacers-acquire-pascal-siakam-in-trade-with-raptors-pelicans/ar-AA1n8Ajm

They were already playing well vs a lot of the top contenders in the East, but now they took a step towards dominance. Pacers lines might be worth betting now.

Without giving away too much personal info, I have a chronic disease. I've had this disease for a decade and have had a lot of treatment for it, but it is winning. I likely only have a few months left. And so, I bid you all farewell. I'll be spending as much of my remaining time as possible with my family. In a week or two, once this thread has run its course, I'll ask theymos to lock this account.

I have learnt a lot from many of you, and I hope many of you have learnt something from me. Although we will never meet, I would have loved to share a beer with many of you, and I hope you'll remember me fondly.

I'm so sorry to be reading this post man. You were a voice of hope when I posted about my medical issues. I hope you come to terms with the illness and can enjoy your last few months. Please reach out if you need an ear to listen.
558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making too many picks reduces chances of winning. on: January 17, 2024, 05:01:28 AM
As gamblers, we love more action, so we tend to make more bets on a regular basis. However, experts say that when we make too many picks regularly, our chances of winning decrease. This is due to the fact that we won't be able to analyze all the games carefully that are in our ticket and won't have the advantage needed to win. So instead, it's recommended that we should value quality over quantity if we want to succeed in sports betting.

Share your opinion regarding this matter.

Edit : I see that some replies are talking about parlay. FYI, this is not about parlay, it's about making many single picks on a regular basis. Please avoid using parlay when sharing your opinion.
I would look to find some teams who are running hot. Some NBA teams go on streaks of 10-12 games in a row that they win. Find a couple teams on a hot streak and ride the wave with them.

As a giants fan last night was enjoyable end to end.  When the camera panned onto the crowd it was priceless lol.  I've never seen a more dominating beginning than that was.  Cowboys didn't even look like they showed up to play.  Now just need the eagles out of the playoffs and the world will be right again. Smiley
You got your wish, I loved seeing Baker Mayfield own the Eagles. The Eagles have been playing so bad and have lost 5 of their last 6 games, so I was pretty sure Tampa was gonna win. Only bad thing about last night was Jason Kelce retired after the game.

If you like poker I have been playing on coinpoker.com alot as well as AmericasCardroom.eu. Both have pros and cons. Coinpoker has small fields of players in the MTTs and a decent number of small to medium buyins daily. AmericasCardroom has big fields and large guarantees.

Both sites you deposit in crypto and have a fiat balance, you also cashout in crypto and its usually pretty fast cashouts on both.
