NFF hasn't told us Nigerians what led to them not renewing Jose Peseiro's contract but prefers to call out for a new coach on Facebook, leaving a good coach that has taken them to the AFCON finals which they haven't reached for long.
They had a contract with the coach and had a target for him to meet which was to win the African Cup of Nations but since he did not meet the target it means the contracts cannot continue. This should be the reason why the Nigerians Football Federation has let the coach go so another coach can try. The super eagles coach was hired for obvious reasons which was to win the Nations cup so since he couldn't achieve the terms of the contract hence NFF seeking for another coach but to me, despite the agreement of the contract they would have still given him more time to continue with the eagles because he made huge difference during the AFCON competition and giving him more time would have made him take the super eagles to a certain length. |
