That was quite a close call, congratulations!

Brooklyn Nets were supposed to call timeout after the second missed throw from Jalen Brunson with about 18 seconds plus left to play but the coach allowed time to run off the clock and that was definitely to their disadvantage as the Knicks were able to set up a defensive play, even with 18 seconds and down 3 they could have gone for a quick 2, and play the long game.
When Brunson missed that second free throw, my heart sank thinking the Nets would spoil the spread and i'm glad they couldn't get one in. Grin

Props to the Nets player who made an unnecessary foul in the last three seconds after they missed that shot.
542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you preffer your dealer talkative or not? on: January 24, 2024, 02:55:16 AM
I always enjoy listening to talkative dealers, but it still depends on my mood because I have moments where I don't like to engage in a conversation and only focus on playing out the rounds.

It is nice to have a small talk with some dealers as they can give off a welcoming vibe, and it can be entertaining when the other players chime in.

If I can't pick both, i'd probably pick a quiet dealer that's straight to the point because there are levels on the side of the talkative dealers.

One thing I dislike though is that oftentimes dealers have to pay attention to people that see the chat as a flirting app. I'm hoping betting companies would be more strict with that because these people are just cringe and I don't want to cringe when gambling.
I agree there are always users who are down bad while playing.

I think our friend @ralle14 deserved to win with a score of over 1.5 because the result was that Liverpool won with a score of over 3.5 in 45+8 minutes. Diogo Jota is the Liverpool player who opened the door to winning the @ralle14 bet.
Thanks, and also congrats to buwaytress for cashing his chunky $100 freebet multi.

Think ralle14 gets alot of those bets correct and even on another thread he had a parlay of four matches on the NFL thread which were all correct. So it seems he has been the lucky one of us as of late in his betting.
These past few days have been great except for my NBA bets.  Tongue

I guess i'll give the Bet free-6 a shot. I rarely place my predictions there since i'm better at incorrectly predicting the correct scores.  Cheesy

As we're just talking about the first removal from Nigma.Galaxy, there goes the two new additions for another qualifier. They're not going to do good if they keep on changing roster and I think that they're aware of that when they will be just with these players for a very short period of time.

Good to see kiyotaka back on 9Pandas. And for Raven, I think that there will be a lot of opportunities that will be open for him but isn't he playing other roles in the pubs lately?
In my view, this change was a must for Nigma when their previous roster couldn't even beat the other MENA teams like Winter Bear and teams don't have the luxury to wait this season in hopes of improving their teamwork when the qualifiers can be scheduled a few months early.

I don't follow Raven, but I did see some comments mentioning that he initially wanted the offlane role, and he had no other choice since the org already got Gabbi.

The Knicks vs. Nets game is so trappy i'm still taking the Knicks since the Nets were atrocious the other day against the Clippers and failed to close out the game while having a big lead.

I guess it'll depend on who'll fuck up less as the Knicks can easily give this away if the Nets can redeem themselves and make little to no mistakes.

Edit: Another lackluster fourth quarter from the Nets and what a comeback from the Knicks, winning by 5 points after going down as much as 10 points.
546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL Sportsbet.io discussion & predications thread rev on: January 23, 2024, 04:06:02 PM
@ralle14. Those were my predictions also, I should have also made that bet hehehe. I did not like the spread on all of the games in the divisional. The team I speculated that would cover the spread was the 49ers but they were behind for much of the game against the Packers and lost against the spread.
I also thought the Niners spread would be the easiest one because of their trends in the playoffs, but the Packers performed like they weren't a big underdog and still kept it close while having a couple of turnovers.

@everyone in this thread. On Lamar and the Ravens vs. the Chiefs, Mahomes, Travis and Taylor, what are your predictions? Will the Ravens' defense stop the Chiefs from scoring more than 10 points? I am quite certain the Chiefs' defense will have much difficulty on stopping the Ravens. This -3.5 spread on the Ravens might be an underestimation by the sportsbooks.
I'm still on the Chiefs and I like the extra points because the Ravens didn't look as impressive against the Texans. They only took over during the second half when the Texans' offense started to lose steam. I would easily be on the same side if they dominated from start to finish.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Roller Coaster feeling When You Gambling on: January 23, 2024, 02:02:32 AM
An hour before going to a casino?
Bored and sometimes excited because of the sports bet I placed yesterday.

After logging in and pulling out the games you are about to play?
Positive. Assuming I can get a decent win from these games and end it with a profit.

While playing?
Always in the neutral vibe, I prefer to suppress myself while making bets, and spending less helps a lot.

After you experience successive losses?
Annoyed and motivated. Losing gives me a reason to do better and work on the mistakes i've previously made.

After you won successively?
Worried and happy. I'm happy that I get to go on a winning run, but I also wonder about the worst that could happen after this.

After you log out whether you win or lose?
Acceptance. Understand that I can't always win and accept the luck i've had for today.

Maybe guys you haven't noticed it yet, I've just seen that the ESL One Birmingham open Qualifiers are happening right now. While the main event is far from the date now, they're setting these qualifiers.
I haven't watched any of the recent open qualifiers, but i'll check on it once the closed qualifiers start next week.

We've got some team announcements earlier today.

The L1ga team with Ramzes probably didn't work out that's why Kiyotaka moved back, and Nigma Galaxy now has a better lineup. If it works, they could maybe take over PSG.Quest in the second spot and give Team Falcons a competition.
549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: January 22, 2024, 10:00:05 PM
That turns out to be a close game but in the end Suns were able to cover the spread. Unfortunately not on my case since I bet early, the line movement was insane, it started at -5.5 and ended at -7.5 and I too the last line which I lose since Suns only won by 7 points. Tomorrow they'll play again, I think I'm going to bet against them as I like the fresh team which is the Bulls.
It was close and I thought the Suns would lose the game plus the spread when the Pacers got the lead. I did have to buy a point as the current spread was around -6.5 when I placed my bet and convinced myself to push it down because of the Suns' bad ATS record.

I'm going for the big favorite today with the Sixers -13.5 against the Spurs. I've been thinking between them or the Timberwolves since they're both facing weaker teams and saw their ATS record overall better than the latter.

Edit: The back-to-back buckets from the Spurs in the end cost us the spread.  Lips sealed

I got my cup bets locked in. Cool As much as I like to back both Division 2 teams in each matchup, I have to switch it up with Hhampuz on the other side.  Wink

I've noticed that in the previous cups, there's always a team from Division 3 making it to the finals, and I picked Ulven because the last time someone eliminated me from an official cup match, they made it all the way.

551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: While placing bet what comes your mind on: January 22, 2024, 04:19:59 PM
Yesterday was trying to place bet and during the process something in me keeps telling me to increase your wager do you know if you would hit something you never won before.. I was like is this how other people are being controlled by gambling or is it how it works?

However, have you had this feeling while gambling before be it offline casino and online casinos?
That happens to me when I become greedy, which I get a lot of the time, and it's what usually kills most of the profits I get instead of simply chilling throughout the day. Once you have those quick and easy wins, it could give you a boost of confidence to go for something aggressive like doubling up, and most of the time, it backfires to put you back to reality. It's okay to play the way you want as long as you can deal with the aftermath, and that's where most gamblers struggle, as these scenarios will continue to occur in most of your sessions.

The Bills were so close to a game-winning TD in the last 4 to 5 minutes of the fourth quarter it almost made me think my bet was cooked, but the Chiefs' defense somehow got the stop within the FG range.

The unexpected part was the missed FG from their kicker. I surely thought it would go to OT when they had a good field position.

I'm happy that I finally get to hit a rare parlay, thanks to the Chiefs.  Cheesy

Now, I don't think Daxak had a great run with Quest at all because this team is focused on pushing hard from first minutes , not playing for farm and late game and I think they made a right call by giving up on Daxak who I'm sure will find a team to coach soon.
It took them a while to officially announce his departure and one or two of the players could also leave because that's what he mentioned in his telegram post(reddit thread).

Usually if it's with captaining, what I have noticed with pro players. They like to be captained but as for another captain to secondary captain, there's the beef starts for one having ego of not being commanded.
With Kuroky that's probably the last thing to happen when he seems to be the guy that would easily de-escalate those heated situations.
554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: January 22, 2024, 12:49:39 AM
I'm also on the Suns spread (-5.5), as the Pacers would have less firepower in their lineup now that Haliburton is confirmed out.

The Suns might be one of the worst teams in covering the spread, but with the Pacers needing time to adapt after their loss against the Blazers, i'd better go with the team that could take advantage of that.

555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do i handle my first gambling experience on: January 22, 2024, 12:11:59 AM
How do I prepare myself for my first gambling experience?
What are the things I should expect as a first time gambler?
How do we react to my first gambling results be it winning or lose?
Thank you all for your helpful opinions.
Some posts above mentioned the budget, and on top of that, you should check the deposit and withdrawal limits of the casino you've picked because, at some casinos, they only accept specific amounts.

Depending on your luck, you could expect your first session to end within minutes or last for more than an hour.

I'd recommend holding off your emotions whenever you gamble so you don't make rash decisions like going after your losses.

Today, we got one of the best daily specials, and it's for the Liverpool vs. Bournemouth match. I already placed a slightly bigger bet on Liverpool's side, as that's how i'm confident about Liverpool winning by at least two goals, assuming Bournemouth can likely score one.

The difference between the regular odds isn't much, around 1.88 via the betbuilder, so it's more like a free odds boost.

There are still two questions left in the spreadsheet, but i'll need some insane luck to hit those two for a draw, so advance congrats on your sixth win. @vivekdkhyani

I need to stop falling for the underdog bait once more, as I always get too confident after winning the previous round.

559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does it bother you when dealers change during play? on: January 21, 2024, 02:05:17 AM
What are your thoughts on this? Do you mind when dealers in your table change? Or does it not bother you at all?
I used to care about it because I also experienced those coincidences from having a hot streak to suddenly going cold. Now, I don't care as much because the dealers are only doing their part and some factors also change during the transition.

As the others mentioned, when dealers change, you'll notice that other players would do the same, and that could be one of the few examples for you to start losing because having fewer players on the table can sometimes shift your luck the other way.

Who is agreeing with me that Kuroky needs to retire? Just look, after rebuilding the roster of Nigma Galaxy and falling short to the qualifiers for the Dreamleague in Mena region. Ghost and RMN have departed ways with the team. I know that it's just like a part time contract for the two but Kuroky needs to give that spot of his to someone else who's better and has more quick and active reflexes.
As much as I agree, he probably won't step down since he has the power to do what he wants for the team, but I hope they've already found a decent replacement for the next qualifiers.

They don't have to find a support player with good reflexes when those are better for the core roles. IMO, they need a support player who can influence the team as a whole and maybe become the secondary captain for the team to help Kuroky fix their long-time problems.
