541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money? on: June 20, 2017, 11:16:24 PM
Bitcoin can never replace conventional money, different uses, bitcoin more as investment and speculation, just like stocks, in contrast to money that is fixed and stable value, and suitable for use as a means of exchange of goods and services
but to me i think there is always possibilities for that, it depend on the number of bitcoin users if the users of bitcoin are increasing continuously and if people will start using bitcoin for most of their buying selling activities then it is possible to reduce the use of conventional currency and eventually will disappear.

No it will not happen. Just look how worst the world financial system if all transactions are about using virtual currencies. Not all countries can adopt the cryptocurrency system especially those poor countries with no internet connection at all. Since it's virtual people need internet connection and a platform to access bitcoin.

And why people desire of $10,000,000 price of bitcoin if they want bitcoin to replace fiats. Then fiats is useless now even bitcoin will have that value.

May list sila doon.

Di pa ako interesado nun that time.

545  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: June 20, 2017, 09:47:33 PM
Currently the price of bitcoin is 2800 dollars and I think 4000 dollars will happen in the end  of october. Halving is near and for the price of bitcoin will becoem double or increase 50percent. So its time to buy bitcoin now so we can make a lot of profit. Just hold it to your wallet for few months and enjoy later the profit that you make. More bitcoin more money .

Huh? Bitcoin Halving is near? Are you ok? Bitcoin Halving happened last year and it will happened every 4 years so that is on 2020. Don't just  post mate. Someone might reported you for that. That is the funny post I have encounter today, better than those shit threads around.

And even bitcoin halving is near, it doesn't have to do with the price increase since the community will decide if they will join the hype of positive speculation.
546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: June 20, 2017, 09:34:15 PM

Well, i guess you havent heard the rumor that Lebron might leave the Cavs and if that does happen, Irving would be pushing a move away fro Cavs too. In another news, Jimmy Butler seems to be interested in the move to Cavs.

The rumor about Lebron James leaving the Clevaland is currently unheallthy so we don't that rumor easily. Jimmy Butler and Paul George playing on Cleveland Cavaliers is likely on talks right now. For Butler, I don't see this guy as a consistent. Remember their playoffs run? Totally a dissapointment.

Kyrie Irving might leave Cleveland Cavaliers if Lebron James will leave.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao VS Horn (Boxing) on: June 20, 2017, 08:44:21 PM
Im not saying that Horn can't matched Pacquiao but who's tough fighter already defeated by this guy? Damn you Bob Arum, you allow Manny to take match with a boxer with only 16 professional fights? You are more aggressive to money compare to Mayweather.

Manny Pacquaio will take this match. I don't care if Horn is much young. Experience is the key not on aged. Back in Pacquaio-DelaHoya match, Golden Boy has better experience but Pacquiao already built experience and take down those with big names prior to their match so this match against Horn is totally a different story.
548  Economy / Speculation / Re: Biggest threat to the future of Bitcoin? on: June 20, 2017, 08:16:51 PM
Currently I can't think of a threat for the future of bitcoin.

About the current fees, there are already proposed plan about it and this was being discussed for long time so I think even a bit, we can expect that fees and slow confirmation time will be no problem in the future. What else? Support from people? If bitcoin will be much better then I see no reason why people will not continue to use and support bitcoin.

But like I said, it's just for now that I can't see any threat. Maybe for the upcoming depends on the situation.
549  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Wallet that can send to multiple addresses? on: June 20, 2017, 07:46:50 PM
Im looking for bitcoin wallet that has some feature of sending bitcoin to multiple addresses. Much better to ask questioned here than searching Google as here I can get not just the name of the wallet but also the feedback.

Thanks in advance!

The Electrum wallet has a pay to many feature which does what you are asking. You can download Electrum from the official website www.electrum.org . This wallet has only positive feedback so far from a big majority of users in the forum.

551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DCORP Crowdsale - Democratizing Venture Capitalism on: June 20, 2017, 07:13:50 PM

Maybe I missed it but are you near that target? Starting to look very promising!

I think the target will not reached but Im sure it will be close to that which is already a good achievement as other projects are struggling even at $1m for month of crowdfund.

Starting to look promising? I guess too even at the start. Now for the remaining days let's see if it can breached or passed their target amount.
552  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 20, 2017, 06:55:44 PM

553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for beginners to avoid getting scammed on: June 14, 2017, 11:31:57 PM
Can you suggest some precautions for beginners to avoid getting scammed ?

Common sense and trust your guts. If you feel like engaging in a suspicious transaction, then better not to push through it. You need to be careful since there are lots of scams in the internet now.
554  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 14, 2017, 09:48:19 PM
The site is running smoothly now.

Just didn't know what's the notice about bonus rewards all about? It says I have to play on Dice and purchase tickets. What is it all about? What is the specific requirement for the bonus?
555  Economy / Economics / Re: What don't you like about Banks and Banks controlling your money on: June 14, 2017, 09:25:48 PM
I love banks. I like their services. Banks have services that people can take advantage which is not present on bitcoin. I get my first car because of bank loan which only tooks 5% interest for 5 years. Housing loans too with low interest within 10 years. Instant mobile banking as I can transfer money even on holidays anytime. My bank also lots of stationed ATM's even at province.  I don't use bank to make money grow. I used banking services because it giving me a comfortable life. And now with additional bitcoin in my life, just imagine the advantages Im receiving.

So for those bank haters and just relying on bitcoin, then it's up to you. It's still more convenient to take advantage of the both than become butthearts to others. Feel sorry that your banks there in your place is a a shit. Care for privacy? Then don't use bitcoin exchanges. As soon bitcoin will become more legally adopted, expect that privacy is big deal now as exchanges will require more verification.
556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: June 14, 2017, 09:11:01 PM

i think we can reduce the risk in bitcoin investment, trading and even in gambling, if we have proper knowledge about trading and investment. in gambling if we have some good strategy and planing and if we are playing gambling in a limit even there we can reduce the risk of losing money in gambling.

When doing an investment, the first thing to do is reduce the risk so it's one of the things that needs to be practiced.

First of all, we already knows that investment have some associated risk on it. Rather than to treat that as an enemy or struggles, make room to learn how we can deal with those risk. There are lots of succesful investment today that faces so much risk but still reached the status of becoming succesful. It's up on the people how will they make their investment succesful.
557  Economy / Economics / Re: 'Creeping' war vs. bitcoin? on: June 14, 2017, 08:58:23 PM
Nothing impossible. We have been seeing the universe evolve for billions of years to make itself habitable for us, so why not bitcoin be replaced by something superior? But the biggest question is, how long will it take to evolve and will be be there to witness it at all ?

So just because Etherium have good price now it will be a candidate to surpass bitcoin? To my own thoughts, a big no.

Is ETH can now be used to buy products? If yes how big is it now? Etherium high price is because of traders want to earn profit and not because of demand to it that will be used to buy products. So meaning ETH is all about money after all and not to used as currency for usages.

Im still new to altcoins. Anyone can correct me here.
558  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to 5,000 $/btc ? on: June 14, 2017, 08:44:54 PM

It won't becausee there is too much hapenning with Bitcoin at the moment.

Still no scalability fix and our Bitcoin just got threatened by Jihan because of the UASF coming soon on August 1st.
https://blog.bitmain.com/en/uahf-contingency-plan-uasf-bip148/

Considering all that has happened recently, I imagine that Bitcoin is only alive because it is the pioneer in the world of cryptocurrencies and is already accepted and stamped as the "virtual currency" all over the world. Just compare Bitcoin with other currencies in the market and you will see how expensive our fees are, how slow our transactions are and how divided our community is, which ends up destroying the currency and its growth in the future.

I imagine we could have hit the $5000 some time ago if it wasn't for all this problems keeping Bitcoin's growth stuck.

Keep your Bitcoin, but also buy promising coins like Dash, Decred and Litecoin just in case.

So what is the exactly will happened on August 1?  What are some of the effect that it will give to bitcoin?

Is the price decrease now prior to the date have higher chances or just a FUD to take profits? We compare bitcoin fees now to other cryptos because other cryptos doesn't have a high price today and demands and usage are not too much.
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Name your favorite cryptocurrency on: June 14, 2017, 08:03:06 PM
Since Im still on early phase of my staying here in cryptoworld, I might not known well those other cryptos who also have a decent price. So for now, Bitcoin is on the first line. I saw other cryptos like Etherium is having a good future too based on my readings but still I don't want just to read but to learn why Etherium will be like bitcoin in the future in terms of being number 1 in coinmarketcap.

For now, BTC BITCOIN BTC.
560  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can reach 3000 USD in a year ? on: June 14, 2017, 07:07:36 PM

There is absolutely no guarantee that Bitcoin will close the year with a 3000 dollar value. It could be, but it isn't the 95% likely outcome people here like to think it is.

On the other hand, there absolutely no guarantee that bitcoin will not be on $3,000 within this year.

Since you is only a guess and speculation, same as mine, we all really don't know if that will happen or not. Rallies are not meant to last forever but those short rallies are pushing the price up that's why we are having a different bottom. Remember the $1,000 price? It's high price but now a bottom. That's why there are reasons to believe that $3,000 is achiveable this year.
