541  Economy / Economics / Re: Share Your Best Money Advice Based on Personal Experience on: December 04, 2022, 07:01:13 PM
For the longest time, I have been thinking about doing this. It seems like the right time is now. All of us have had good, bad, and ugly experiences with money. So now is a good time to offer your two cents worth of financial advice.

Ty question-  Based on your cumulative life experiences, can you share your best money advice with us?

I'd go first -  Stay out of debt as much as you can.

Talking about finances is usually directly related to the needs of living everyday life from getting up early and getting up early again. Identifying needs is very important for managing finances well so you can manage expenses well. Therefore we have categories of primary, secondary and tertiary needs which are physical and spiritual.
Dividing your money into several categories such as basic needs, investments, cash funds and emergency funds is highly recommended for those of you who want to have healthy finances.

Why do so many people hate debt? I think this is done by people who use their money for consumption or subsistence, so they are forced to pay off debts without producing anything.
Let's say you are an entrepreneur, when you have a very significant increase in demand, productivity must be increased because to meet customer demand, and you will find it difficult to increase production if you only rely on income from the money you rotate. Of course, you have to borrow to increase your capital and expand your business so that you can meet market needs and have a bigger cash flow.

Debt will be negative for consumptive people and debt will be positive for productive people because productive people will use it to attract other money.
542  Other / Off-topic / Re: How important is working experience, and can it be ignored? on: December 04, 2022, 11:05:28 AM
I came across a post some time ago (not here on bitcointalk), I was not in the forum then too, so I did not take note of the link for discussion, but it was about how many jobs can be taught, so the writer was trying to understand why people get disqualified for little or no working experience in a Job Interview? Recently I came across a job listing that required over 9 years working experience to be qualified, looking at the job description, I didn't see any reason why someone with 5 years working experience was not suitable for it since it was not a job that required special skills and the monthly pay for the job was not encouraging. What is your opinion on eligibility for regular jobs that are based on working experience, do you think they are necessary, and what chances does it give to the young job seekers who are looking to gain experience on a job? how can they get experienced if they are already been disqualified for little or no working experience?
What job would you like to talk about?
Is it a bank manager or a very sophisticated machine operator in a factory?
If you are a good specialist with 5 years of experience, then you should not have problems, but I do not understand what kind of vacancy we are talking about. You work for a company, many people find better paying jobs and they poach good professionals from their old jobs.
True, we do not understand what job you are talking about and what position you are referring to.

Competence in work experience is very important for companies not to take up time in training or work adaptation. I think the job you are talking about is an important part of the company that requires sufficient experience in the job if your friend has the experience that does not match the job offered by the company, no matter how long he has experience in the workplace without any consideration the company will reject the friend's application You.

Work experience is very important for companies because indeed people who already have experience will know how to work in a company, therefore many companies prefer people who have work experience.
I think the case that you find is for key positions in companies like executives, managers, specialized teams and others that require a fair amount of work experience in the job.

What about young workers with little experience?
I think there are not a few job vacancies that require workers who have no experience, you can have experience there even though the position offered is under the company.

If you don't have the opportunity to jump right into a key position in the company, start from the bottom.
543  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's understand about what can be the actual long term holding... on: December 03, 2022, 11:42:03 PM
I do see people come here and declare themselves as long term holders of bitcoin because they are holding for weeks to months; they are right because previously they were into intraday or sessional/trend trading which may not last for more than six months.

But, bitcoin's cycle is 4 year long which means your long term should cover at least one full cycle of bitcoin markets.

To enjoy the real benefits of bitcoin investments, you must plan up for covering 3 to 5 cycles of bitcoin markets. Waiting period of more than 10 years may sound unrealistic to many people but I like to suggest them to google to know about the real power of decade long holding of famous stocks.

Yeah, there were stocks which transformed long term holders to multi-millionaires for the investment of $100 to $1000. Luckily, we do not have to break our head to find the right stock for long term holding in this crypto space; it is only bitcoin but to get 1000x returns, we must learn patience.

For the people, who argue that they cannot lock $1000 for year then they should plan up for $50 or $100; that is very basic. If we stick with basics of investments then we can easily convert deep bear markets of bitcoin into moderate ones.
Broadly speaking the Bear market is a threat to people who hate blood in the market and makes them afraid of losing their money and going into a panic sell, but there are those who make it an opportunity to increase the load or start investing in Bitcoin, I don't think it's necessary to wait until 10 years to reap enough profits doi Bitcoin, I can say it's very good patience or greed.
The DCA strategy starts from now on investing $ 1000 per month in 2023 until the halving time in 2024, it is enough to make profits, although not a thousand times.
If you want a sizable return you have to make a large and regular investment from now on.

I think the Netherlands will outperform the United States in the knockout round this time, Louis Van Gaal will pay a lot of attention to the game this time, considering that two wins and a draw in qualifying have shown them to be strong while the United States only won one and drew 2 in the qualifying round, I'm not sure America can win against Netherlands world cup this time.
But maybe Gregg Berhalter will not stay silent preparing his children to bring back the Dutch troops.
I don't deny that anything can happen on the field but I think this match will be very tough for America.
I do agree that there is this type of deal where it is not going to be easy for any team to beat any team, and Netherlands may look better than USA right now, but the reality is that USA built a good team and they have the narrative with them as well. The whole "it's coming home" of England, is also a marketing by Americans who do "it's called soccer" as well.

All in all I am guessing that nobody will think USA will win the cup, but that doesn't mean that they have something they are fighting for, whereas Netherlands doesn't, they don't even believe they will win the cup, so there is no need for them to play at 100% and that could result with an upset.
An interesting first half, even though the US-dominated possession, the US always conceded a counterattack from the Netherlands, they conceded again in the last minute of the first half by taking advantage of a cross that was executed by D. Blind.

As I said the United States will have a lot of trouble against the Netherlands even if they win in possession but haven't given away any goals yet. Can the US turn things around in the second half? I think it's very difficult because Louis van Gaal will change their strategy to semi-defence to maintain their advantage.

Did Spain, Brazil and Portugal lose on purpose to reduce the burden in the knockout stages of the Qatar World Cup championship? Getting Uruguay and Germany home is more important than chasing victory in a game that is already confirmed.
Yes, this is somewhat logical in my opinion, after all they have stated that they will definitely qualify for the next match. And perhaps they are intent on securing their place from getting into the squad they feared early in the play-offs.

And that proved Brazil against Korea, Spain against Morocco and Portugal against Switzerland.
Spain, Portugal and Brazil lost because their opponents outshined  them, they did not lose on purpose. Regardless they had already qualified for the round of 16. They didn't take those matches too serious. They just play to complete their game.

Today, Netherland vs USA and Argentina vs Australia for the first game of the round of 16. I predict USA and Argentina to win today's match.

547  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bottom prediction? on: December 02, 2022, 06:43:53 PM
This year has been the worst year for me and my friends because the price of Bitcoin fell so deeply that it touched its strongest support line at the end of 2020.

glassnode

If we look at the historical decline of Bitcoin, the pattern of price decline is almost the same as in 2015 and the end of 2018, meaning that it has reached the limit of the market cut and is the lowest in the current bearish market and therefore this is an opportunity to increase accumulation at low prices.

Yes, indeed there are several signals indicating that a crash will occur but there has been no confirmation. Let's hope this doesn't happen and it turns into a Bull Run.
I think continuing DCA is better because we realize that no matter how good the prediction is, it's just an opinion, it doesn't mean we already know what will happen next.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 02, 2022, 03:54:14 PM
It is true that Japan is one of the representatives from Asia who has achieved extraordinary achievements in this year's world cup. And today we are all presented with the South Korea vs Portugal match where South Korea, who is also a representative from Asia, must be able to win today's match so that it has the potential to qualify for the next round. Even if Ghana is unable to win today against Uruguay, which is currently in the bottom position in the group standings.
Besides Portugal, I hope Uruguay will be the second team to qualify for the round of 16 compared to South Korea and Ghana. Uruguay must win regardless of the result of the Portugal vs South Korea match, but if Portugal and Uruguay both win then Uruguay has the right to qualify for the round of 16.

It would be a shame if Uruguay failed to qualify for the last 16, but their chances are very low as Ghana who are currently ahead on points will desperately defend their lead to qualify as well. I'm still looking forward to this fight, I hope it's really interesting.

indeed the match south korea vs portugal has started I hope portugal won tonight's game and it's proven that the game went 4 minutes the goal happened and the score 0:1 for portugal was a good start but south korea will work hard to build attacks let's watch the match hopefully the results will be interesting to watch.

The result was equalized by South Korea in the 27th minute by Kim Yong-gwon, I think it will be a tense match again like Spain and Japan in yesterday's match, is it possible for Portugal?
Elsewhere, Uruguay's goal was a 2-0 first-half win against Ghana. It will not be easy for Korea to catch Uruguay in this match. Meanwhile, Portugal is certain to qualify for the last 16 of Group H because it has 2 wins against Ghana and Uruguay without thinking about winning or losing in now match.

Will it be a miracle for south Korea in the second round to match japan in the round of 16 of the world cup Qatar.
549  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Japan fall behind in the crypto industry ? on: December 02, 2022, 02:20:34 PM
It's only natural that almost everyone doesn't know any news from Japan, even though Japan is categorized as a developed country, both from economic, political, social and other perspectives, it's as if nothing has happened in Japan. Values of mutual respect and respect, especially respecting a teacher, make Japanese people more disciplined and have very good ethics. Judging from the criminal record in Japan, it is very small compared to other countries.

Japan has no military capability worth speaking of, which leaves it a vassal state to foreign interests and foreign powers. They bully japan and force it to comply with international demands. This has been demonstrated in several different areas over the past few decades. While japan has been a hotbed of technological advancement, it is not independent enough to forge its own policies on cryptocurrencies and is forced to comply with international regulation and narratives.

Yes, maybe this is what causes Japan to prefer silence and not act much because the cryptocurrency is still in conflict with some world leaders, or maybe they are researching cryptography technology first without disclosing it to any media so that failures like Mt Gox don't happen again.

in front of the line or behind the line ? that was the big question yesterday at the world cup. when you see this photo, everyone thinks the ball was behind the line.
or am i seeing it wrong ? but maybe a few millimetres are missing . but never mind.
denmark gone, yesterday germany gone, belgium gone ,mexico gone , and today another co-favourite ?

out or not out  Grin Grin

but still congratulations to japan. you fought great !!

I think there will be no end to discussing it because the match is over and Japan has successfully conquered Spain to qualify for the knockout round, I know that match sucks making me lose the bet for Spain, but I think I have to admit that Japan has won that match and betting on the other matches in the knockout stage later  Wink

Yes, that's the match on the field that has been decided, it cannot be repeated even though it is clear in my eyes the ball has gone off the field, it would be very embarrassing if the referee annulled the goal that had been decided. this will also have an impact on the prestige of the Qatar world cup.

You don't need to be disappointed with your defeat, many have lost here, including me Grin

I congratulate Sakura country for being one of the teams that qualified for the last 16 from the Asian continent with Australia.
551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 01, 2022, 05:26:52 PM
It is a pity for Belgium that they are out of the tournament. They actually played quite well this game, and Lukaku had 2 huge chances that he would have made 2 years ago. If there had been another striker there, Belgium would probably have won now. This was also the last World Cup where we saw all the stars of Belgium at work. Most of them will be gone in 4 years. I don't know who they have to play against now, but Croatia is a dangerous outsider for the title. Modric was also very good today.
It was a very tense game, buying and selling attacks against each other showed that they were very good and both were strong which ended with a score of 0-0. The lack of spearheads for the Belgian children's attacks resulted in 2 very good opportunities which Lukaku could not maximize as the person in charge. It is with great disappointment that Belgium has to go home today.

Yes, even though Lucas Modric is quite old, he is still very consistent in this match. Zlatko Dalić might already know that by holding enough matches to a draw they could be said to qualify for the round of 16 with Morocco.
552  Economy / Economics / Re: Changing of bank notes; any impact on economy? on: December 01, 2022, 03:36:05 PM
I think it has some impact on the economy.  Changing bank notes help to stop the circulation of fake money.  This can bring inflation down at some point.  On a negative note, it will use the fund of the government, and changing notes needs huge amount of money because they have to pay for the design, materials, and production of the new banknotes.  This huge amount of money can be allocated to the development of the country's infrastructure or any profit-producing project that can help the economy way more than the idea of replacing the banknote.
If the negative side is using government money, I think infrastructure development can be delayed first. I think it's better to handle currency technology updates first. updated because the threat is that the circulation of counterfeit currency in society will result in inflation that cannot be controlled and will certainly affect the development and economic stability of the country.

If you look at counterfeiting for example, there are some highly professional criminals out there (and even countries like North Korea) doing this sort of forging on a large scale, so if your bank note security features are very weak then newer technological advantages could be very beneficial to preventing fraud. That seems to be the primary benefit you could get from a change, although you might get a sweep up of tax avoiders who have hoarded money in notes trying to cash in before the time is up.

It will only take months for the criminal group to counterfeit the new banknote, and at the end the scenario that is supposed to be fixe by changing banknotes will arise again in just a matter of month or two.  So I believe it is just a waste of government funds to change the banknote.

Maybe this can happen, but depending on the level of technology used by the government in making new money, I think using complex technology will be very difficult to imitate, and even if it can be imitated, there will definitely be a difference.

I think the circulation of paper currency now is very little because nowadays people use digital currency more for transactions so it will be easy to control the circulation of paper currency and identify counterfeiting.

I heard about Ronaldo's replacement options. After Man United definitely fired him, I read several social media if they wanted to bring in Cody Gakpo and the second option was AC Milan winger, Rafael Leao. Leao brought Ac Milan to the championship last season, apart from that he can also play in several positions such as wing attacker and center forward.

Cody Gakpo will be a good option not replacement for Ronaldo for he has shown how well of a good player and important player he can be for United. I love the fact he will be working under a Netherland manager if he leaves PSv for Man United. He is the first Netherland player to score in every single game in the World Cup. Leao had a good conversation with Milan he is not leaving soon or later.

Yes, Ronaldo's performance was unsatisfactory and did not meet the expectations of the red devils as the spearhead of the attack. Naturally, the management of the red devils are looking for players to replace their attackers.
Cody Gakpo is a great choice. He played brilliantly in this world cup championship as one of the strikers who are quite reliable in the current ranks of the Dutch national team and scored 3 goals in the group stage. Of course, all teams will be interested in him.
Erik Ten Hag really wanted him, Cody Gakpo even started a relationship with Manchester United last summer, but unfortunately due to some problems it had to be put on hold. Once again, Cody Gakpo's achievements in the world cup this time have made the Red Devils want him even more and won't let him go on a winter transfer now.
554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 01, 2022, 11:53:51 AM
Overall the Argentine team in this world cup has looked really solid. I say this because in the match with Poland I saw Argentina had more possession of the ball and attacked regularly until it produced a good result, namely the victory. So the Argentina national team in this world cup is a team that is very calculated and also really solid as a champion candidate, although I also can't predict whether Argentina will make it to the final or not.
Argentina are one of the teams touted as capable of reaching the final at the Qatar World Cup.
Currently Argentina have progressed from the group stage, and now we are all just waiting to see what they can do in the round of 16. I hope Argentina win against Australia in the round of 16, which will take them to the quarter-finals. I think Argentina have a big chance to win and they are favourites.

Before discussing the finals, we need to enjoy the stages that these teams will go through because each match will definitely be very tight starting from the round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals.

Yeah, you’ve got a point as the Argentine team is fit and poised to win the tournament. They’ve got amazing players who are eager and hungry for goals. I’m glad they qualified for the round of 16. They are a formidable opponent for any team in the World Cup and they’ve got a big chance to either win the cup or make it to the semi finals.
I thought Argentina's performance had fallen from that of one of the respected giants in the world cup, but it turned out that they only adapted at the start of the game against Saudi Arabia and suffered a defeat. In the end, Argentina won the group after beating Mexico and Poland. I am very happy with their victory.

Perhaps Argentina, the Netherlands and England as one of the strongest ranks on the world football scene have been confirmed to qualify from the group stage. But compatriots Spain and Germany will determine their fate in tonight's match to progress to their next game in the Qatar World Cup and maintain their reputation as football giants.
555  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should I invest? on: November 30, 2022, 10:16:22 AM
Investment today is an investment that can give us opportunities for big profits and in the short term, of course there are many choices of types of investment that we can choose but for now good and trending is cryptocurrencies, you can try investing in top ranking and doing research in Continue so that the goal for profit can be achieved.

If you only know investing as a tool to increase profits without knowing anything about the right way to invest, I think you will be stuck with investments that offer abnormal returns, even though they are frauds.

Talking about digital asset investment, you should invest in Bitcoin and use DEX as an intermediary to make it safer because we all realize that what the market is like today is because of centralized exchanges. I have nothing against you investing in Altcoins and using CEX, but haven't you learned from FTX and Luna customers who have had losses this year?

Never blame anyone if you fall for their schemes as many people in this forum have warned about it.
556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin,the bedrock of investors. on: November 29, 2022, 05:38:30 PM
Bitcoin has had so many positive impact on people's life especially investors to the extend that they can't do without it,( investing in it.)So many people today who started from the scratch, investing, have found their way in life, and till tomorrow, they will continue to give an encomium on Bitcoin.

I mean anyone can do without bitcoin or any other type of "investment" for that matter, as there's no such thing as one true investment that no on can live without.  Let's also not forget that bitcoin is inherently not even an investment, but a currency that has become an investment.  I think people seem to get themselves in to trouble thinking of it in a matter as an investment only, because it's just simply not.

Investment is a proverb that is intended to increase profits from what we spend/plant. It can also be used like you invest in yourself to make yourself better and better.

True, Bitcoin is not an investment asset, Satoshi's purpose in creating Bitcoin is due to his distrust of fiat currency and bankers. However, from time to time the price pattern of Bitcoin has increased significantly so that many small and large investors consider Bitcoin as a valuable digital asset to be used as material for making profits and they then use bitcoin as an investment asset to this day.

Qatar unfortunately did a horrible first match, so nervous in my opinion, and that match was responsible to the elimination, at least a draw against Ecuador would be good.

Indeed they are not strong enough for the current world level. Maybe if it was asian level they were king. But at least I'm happy that there are many Asian countries participating in this big tournament. I am quite happy with their success in holding this big event. Even though there are many issues, I think this event really entertained me and many people in the world. Not bad, this is the origin of the development of football in Asia.
The quality of Qatar is only being able to compete on the Asian continent, if to compete in a bigger event like in the World Cup which is filled with the world's top national teams they have not been able to provide anything of value.
Host status could not help them get out of the Group stage, two defeats to Ecuador and Senegal meant they would be eliminated soon. Qatar has the potential to be eliminated as a team that has not been able to gain a single point in the Group stage because in their last match they will be challenged by the Netherlands. This match will of course be one sided because the quality of the Dutch squad is far more weighty than the squad owned by Qatar.
I think Félix Sánchez Bas has given up hope in this round and will only fulfil the match, for them against the Netherlands is hell. While Louis van Gaal doesn't seem to have to prepare his players in totality, maybe he will sit pretty on the bench watching his students destroy the world cup hosts this time.
As for Senegal and Ecuador, they must exert all their abilities in tonight's round, determining their fate to survive in the Qatar world cup. This will be a tense match between Aliou Cissé and Gustavo Alfaro in charge of both teams.

It's like slavery in modern times with the lure of incentives that never reach their wallets, this is beyond humanity, they are locked up in production camps, they eat very little, and must hardly breathe fresh air. I think they are like robots in the company.

In terms of work productivity, it will be very difficult for workers to produce optimal and good products because ecological factors and living ecosystems are not fulfilled because it will cause stress, and this will greatly affect the quality of workers' production.

I hope that the Chinese government can provide the right policies for workers in Zhengzhou, because we realize that currently the cost of living is very expensive. And this should be a lesson for the world of work so that something like this doesn't happen again.

I do not understand what half of your post meant, but if you meant by most of it are into altcoins then you might be better of putting them all now to Bitcoin. Not going to convince you, but I had seen plenty of changes from snapshots of CMC top coins throughout the years and regardless of the trends, Bitcoin just does not move an inch from the ranking unlike some of those inside top 10.

You could get away with some altcoins in the market right now, but some of it are just profitable due to hypes or sheer luck and I do not want my investment to be just based on luck.
It may be true that I should move Altcoin funds to Bitcoin and store them on a Decentralized Exchange, but this will be a very difficult decision for investors buying Altcoins at a high enough price, while the current market position for almost all Altcoins has fallen 60-90% of their ATH. If we move our investment funds now This will be a consideration that can create a dilemma for investors including me.

The decision I made in this position is I let it go, if the price goes up again I will sell it and add it to my Bitcoin savings but if the price goes down I will consider it charity, and I will not buy any more altcoins.

Almost 40 minutes have passed, but no one has scored a goal in the Belgium vs Morocco match, the matches are equally attacking from both countries, I think this will be a draw in this match, hopefully someone will come out as a winner in tonight's match..
Belgium vs Morocco After a lot of fighting between these two teams, Morocco was able to score 1 goal. The goal was scored by A. Sabir in the 76th minute with a lot of difficulty. But the two teams are playing very hard. Belgium will try hard to score the goal.1 can score a goal then the match will be a draw and if no goal can be scored then Belgium will lose this match.
This was very difficult to predict, Belgium even conceded again at the end of extra time to make it 2-0, and T. Courtois was unable to hold the ball into the net.
Morocco is now at the top of the Group F standings with 4 points after beating Belgium today, the next match against Canada which might be a big task for Morocco coach Walid Reragui to be one of the candidate teams to qualify for the group stage match.
Meanwhile, Roberto Martínez must be able to beat Croatian troops who are able to match Morocco's game with a draw at the start of the Qatar world cup match.
