It's all important when it comes to Investing in any ICO. There are so many scams around these days, 90% of ICO's could be scams or frauds. Must be very cautious these days indeed!
When looking into an ICO, you must check the website, the whitepaper which would be found on the website of course, look at the roadmap and see if that is achievable, if the goals are realistic.
It's important to look into the board of members and the advisors too, they could be a bunch of random people found on google. You need to make sure their profiles are legit and have some background and experience in the field.
Finally check forums and the official telegram group of the ICO, you might find some information there that might interest you or persuade you to invest in or not.

I read different forums daily and i see everyone putting out there different ICO's, invest in this and that, but do they really know what they are investing in. IMO, im a strong believer that you should know exactly what your trying to promote and invest in before you talk about it. Advice for a "newbie" would be to do good research before investing into any Altcoin or Bitcoin. It's a world full of risks! In the cryptoworld, you win some and you lose some ofcourse but you can prevent losses or fails from happening by checking before investing.
I believe you can participate first in Bounty programs and Airdrops too, read forums regarding coins and ICO's!

Canceling SegWit2x is a step in the right direction, and it looks like Bitcoin Core’s roadmap will prevail for now. While the intent behind increasing the block size was to make the bitcoin network more efficient, going ahead with the fork without broad community consensus would have caused more harm than good for bitcoin.
The fork cancellation dashed hopes of “free coins,” causing traders to rebalance their portfolios to include more altcoins.
As a result, altcoins registered gains on the 9th of Nov, as multiple top-tier coins posted double-digit price increases and capital flowed back into their markets from bitcoin.
So, there is some hope for altcoins afterall..

thanks for responding! There is a lot of people who are talking about it. It will help to know the gathered amount up to this moment. Even if is just 1 million for pre-ico is very good. Ok a trading platform using blochain we seen recently. But having the characteristic of a liquidity pool, is the first time. Someone said that xrp is also looking for more liquidity, so by having the members providing this with your tokens should be good.
So how much funds have they gathered? When did the PRE-ICO start?
Am seeing some exposure, has it hit the news agencies yet?

I tent to agree with cryptoenterprise here. trade.io does seem to be legit with a whole team of real people behind it. I have done a background check on most people mentioned within their videos and website and have concluded that these people have indeed been active within the world of forex for decades. FXPRIMUS - one of their committed early adopters is a multi-awarded broker that has been gathering momentum for the last 9 years and their staff knowledgeable, aggressive in marketing and capable. trade.io's project is not just a front - as is the case with 90% of ICOs. They seem to be fully committed to the project and fully capable of making it a reality. I am sure that investing in this project and it's tokens is a sound investment. This is my vote for the designs if I can vote:
1. Good but the logo is copied from other site. Also called "Plagiarism" considered Cheating by others.
2. Somewhat unique although other said font is overused but over-all "Eye-Catching".
3. Nice logo it has simpleness in it. It lacks something that can make it stand out although it's good for simple logo.
4. It's just the same as #3, the logo on the top part was nice though.
5. Simple but lacks something that can make it stand out, maybe trying different shades of colors.
and my vote goes to #2. Good luck to all participants.

You want simple? You got it. Modern? Yup. I used a bar graph as a model for the "M" in the icon typography. I didn't want to overwhelm the logo with too much detail. Logos need to be concise, and when displayed at 110px in height, to-the-point and easy-to-read. Green? Because people associate the color green with two things: 1. Green means "GO", and 2. Money  And, as always, I can't wait to see the designs that come in after this point that are going to be similar to my design.
