Depends what your vision of bitcoin is. I currently dont think bitcoin should primarily be a currency but more of a tradable commodity. I would like to see it used as a store of value or a transitory currency but not the way we think of currency in the modern world.

Still buying still holding, still waking up everyday hoping an the long awaited etf or another price booster will happen. Will I have wasted my time and money? Dunno I guess Ill let you guys know in 5 years.

There is nothing to worry about. Many Chinese are in bitcoin because they tired of capital controls, devaluation of their money and the government's control on their lives. The new digital currency they proposed fixes none of those problems. In fact it makes it easier to devalue, better at capital controls and better at monitoring their citizens.

My transaction has been stuck for 5 hours from the web wallet. It got cancelled due to it saying it was a possible double spend and I never got my money back. Does anyone know a fix for this? I checked the forums and other people have the problem but theres no response from the developers.

Grim did the problem ever fix itself? Im waiting been about an hour at this point 0 confirmations or even any acknowledgement it was sent.
