541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: December 15, 2017, 11:06:36 PM
We can't really do anything if someone hates BTC. In my opinion, there is no need to convince such a person as he is doing his own loss by missing a wonderful opportunity to earn money. BTC and cryptocurrencies are the future of modern economics, so he/she can't really remain too far from crypto-world for a long time.
542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who do you think is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: December 15, 2017, 11:05:14 PM
It's a sheer waste of time discussing the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto coz most of us will keep on guessing who he is without knowing anything about him. Even documentary maker does not have any valid proof of this claim. So let's not waste our time in this meaningless discussion and follow some other knowledgeable thread.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Trading Platform ? on: December 15, 2017, 10:56:29 PM
Best trading platform
for ERC20/ETH---Etherdelta is best.Fast and reliable. No need to make an account om EXchange. It helps you exchange tokens directly from myeherwallet, so It safe and relaible.
For other coins to BTC or ETH---My personal favorite is HITBTC and Bitterex.
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy and Hold 100 Cryptocurrencies for 5 Years - Week 1 - $404 USD in profit on: December 15, 2017, 10:50:03 PM
This seems to be a really good idea but I think it will only be effective when the market is in a Bullish stage. And for next 5 years we can't trust the market sentiments.  Moreover, 5 years is too long time, in between that Central authorities will try to regulate it in some way or another, so this regulation we can't really predict market movements.
But yes, diversifying investment is definitely an effective way to earn profits in long term.

546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I try to win back my loss? on: December 10, 2017, 11:35:20 PM
I have around 500 000 bets placed on FJ
It was a matter of time when this would happen ( placed a lot of bets on not Martingale, so it already happened a lot of times, just not with Martingale)

I got 16 losses in a row
Starting with bet 0.000001BTC
And last bet was 0.03BTC
Counting a 0.06BTC loss total

Now, my question is, should I try to win it back?

I have a total bank of around 1.6BTC on my disposal

Odds of me losing those 16 bets in a row were 0.00179%
Somewhere around 1 to 60 000

Now, if I place a 0.06BTC there's a 50.5% chance I'll lose
If I lose, I place a 0.12BTC bet,  0.505*0.505= 25.5% chance I'll lose
If I lose, I place a 0.24BTC bet, 0,255025*0,505= 12.88% chance
If I lose, I place a 0.48BTC bet, 0,128787625*0,505= 6.5% chance I'll lose

If I lose, I have a total loss of 0.48+0.24+0.12+0.06 (+0.03) = 0.9BTC (+0.03)

Is it worth it?
Should I cut my losses o.o

Odds of me losing 20 bets in a row should be 1 : 860 000
Which, with me having 500k bets, doesn't sound very good

Sad to hear about your loss. I believe recovering Losses is like a trap in gambling. Most of the time it is seen that people often lose more in order to recover the loss. Even if they recover the loss then they don't get up for the day and play more to earn profit but ultimately lost even more. and then circle continues until you got addicted and lose everything.

But still, if you have handful gambling experience and probability figure strongly supports you and if you got the capability to bear more loss then you may try your luck once. Just play to recover loss not to earn the profit.

547  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I only have 200$ per month ! on: December 10, 2017, 11:18:33 PM
You should invest some part savings in the crypto market but it is never recommended to invest all in it because Crypto-currency is really very much volatile and unpredictable. I suggest you to invest $100 out of 200 every month in BTC. This will help you get best ROI with the minimal risk taken.
548  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you should worry this is a bubble on: December 10, 2017, 11:09:03 PM
BTC now a days has been dropped from its major intent (i.e to be an alternative mode of payment). Major reason behind it is too high transaction fees and too much confirmation time to complete a transaction.
So BTC is now serving the role of an investment instrument rather than being an alternative currency. The reason behind the rise is quite simple, people are inventing on BTC seeing its price growth in past year. they are looking the growth, not the concept which is a wrong approach. As BTC does not have any income source of its own, that is why I feel it is just being a bubble now.
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Universa be bigger than Ethereum, NEO, and waves? on: December 10, 2017, 10:35:26 PM
Universa may have some amazing feature but I don't think it can come on top 20 coins list that easy. 20th no coin got the market cap of around $840 Million. Nowadays investors are quite alert and don't want to invest in ICO's coz most of them seems to fraud. Even US citizens and Chinese are prohibited to invest in any ICO so in that case beating such a huge competition is not an easy task. So even if it is better than waves and NEO still it will take time to gain popularity and to inc. market cap
550  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Best online Bitcoin wallet ? on: December 10, 2017, 10:10:32 PM
Hello,
I am looking for a good online Bitcoin wallet.
I want a wallet that respect my privacy (no log, no asking for ID card, no asking for my first name, etc...).
Low fee.
Do you have any idea ?

I like mycelium the most. It got a android mobile app....so you got your BTC wallet always with you. No need of any identity proof. Provides private key...easy to operate, low transaction fees. So it will help you to maintain your privacy and anonymity.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin or Monero on: December 10, 2017, 09:31:17 PM
Both LTC and Monero has shown some positive traction in last few weeks. I feel both got a huge potential to grow. If you ask to choose one between these two then I will go with LTC. Monero got some good feature to protect your anonymity but this is also its drawback coz no govt. will ever adopt it as a legal transaction mode.
But if you take a short-term view say for 6 months then you can choose any of them, both will give you best ROI.
552  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it illegal for someone to hack my BTC wallet? on: December 10, 2017, 08:47:30 PM
Hacking is Illegal in every way. In digital world, If you are entering into someone private space without permission then it is totally an illegal act and should be punishable under law. Now it all depends upon your country's law, how strong is your country's digital law and how seriously they take it.
553  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: state regulations about bitcoin on: December 10, 2017, 08:24:51 PM
Most of the countries havn't made a clear stand about Bitcoin legality till now. Some countries like Japan, Isreal, Switzerland, Canada are quite positive toward Bitcoin and adopt it as an alternative mode of transaction. On the other hand some countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Ecuador, Morocco banned it and called it an economical threat.
Reason for banning is quite simple...1. Decentralized currency without any regulation 2. Tax evasion or money laundering activities due to its anonymous transaction around the world.
554  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin Legality in India on: December 09, 2017, 11:39:15 PM
Not yet legal in INDIA...but soon it will be cleared about BITCOIN legal status in India. After the supreme court order, Indian govt has formed a committee to analyze pros and cons of BTC and how its legalization will affect the countries economy in near future.
Let's wait and watch what decision will govt take on the legal status of BTC.

556  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legal to gamble with Bitcoin in the US? on: December 09, 2017, 11:15:39 PM
Totally legal to play and earn from gambling in BTC in the USA if the gambling platform has the license and operates within the US law gambling guidelines. Moreover, it is safe to play gable on such approved websites rather than playing a decentralized website which can scam you at any time.
557  Economy / Economics / Re: What coin do you believe will be next to bitcoin? on: December 09, 2017, 11:09:26 PM
I think ETH, IOTA, and LITECOIN have a huge potential to grow....I don't know how much they are going to capture market cap in future but for sure these coins are going to rise with triple-digit growth in upcoming days.
Rest, I think it won't be possible for any coin to compete bitcoin market cap for at least next few years. The reason behind it is the growing popularity of BTC among public all around the world and people are just buying BTC because of its growth and mouth to mouth advertisement.
558  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: December 09, 2017, 10:20:31 PM
Traders often use their technical knowledge and experience to predict a trade. But again it is just a prediction not a calculation....so it is not wrong to say that that trading is educated guessing. Your guesses or predictions start being accurate when you learn all the techniques and its application in live trading.
559  Economy / Economics / Re: The Supply of Bitcoin Is Limited. The Supply of Cryptos Isn't! on: December 09, 2017, 10:14:57 PM
Being supply limit, only 25BTC will be rewarded after solving a block which will soon be reduced to 12.5BTC after 420000 blocks been solve. So Bitcoin supply is very well managed and limited.
560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to become a TRADER on: December 09, 2017, 09:58:35 PM
There are two factors which are really very important while performing a trade are:
1. Money Management
2. Emotional Control
One should always perform trade with stop loss and target setting. Work on fundamental for long-term and technical analysis for short-term trading will help you gain profits. Secondly, never be greedy and keep emotional control while trading. Exit the trade as soon as you achieved your target. Don't wait anymore to earn more profit.
I think these are basic techniques which help us to become a successful trader.
