541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin continues the positive trend today, is the altcoin market in trouble? on: November 15, 2020, 02:57:39 PM
Bitcoin market making positive trend will not have any negative effect on the altcoin market if the altcoin have good concept and utility. Aside from that, before altcoin have could reach a new ATH, Bitcoin always lead the market so if Bitcoin market is in total bullish all genuine altcoin we have will follow the bullish trend so theres no need to panic if Bitcoin is in a positive trend.
542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Need withdrawal help from blockcypher to electrum wallet on: November 14, 2020, 09:53:15 PM
The only thing I believe will cause these are
1) Human error from the OP ending
2) The vendor lied about refunding
3) The refund wallet is not fully synced
Greenshoes5, the vendor refund the BTC did he provide you the transaction ID? If yes kindly provide it so we can be sure if the fund was really sent back to you as the vendor said.
543  Economy / Exchanges / Re: what is the lowest fee platform for buying selling bitcoin at this time? on: November 14, 2020, 07:10:39 PM
Dont talk me into coinbase,. I had horrible experience and heard and keep hearing from other about coinbase's terrible experience. It does not matter how popular they are or whether they charge less or nothing for fee.

I have been using gemini for while as it has been quite convenient. There has been lot of frustrating issues lately however I will focus on the fee.
I think last time I bought and sold bitcoin, they charged me 30$ fee!!! Actual blockchain mining fee was less then few cents. Haha. way to make money huh?
No, genuine crypto trade will sees coinbase as a god playform for trading crypto but Gemini charging you $30 fee for a single trade is an unthinkable fees. Do you have any idea the %

Any better platform?
Bibox, Binance and Kucoin offer an interesting fee but you can check the list of exchange site and there fee on https://www.cryptofeesaver.com/exchanges/fees/coins/bitcoin.

544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: USA government power over Bitcoin on: November 14, 2020, 06:03:29 PM
Statistics shows the US to be the most powerful country in the world in terms of Military power and dominant economic. Besides, in the aspect of cryptocurrency users and Bitcoin ATM location the US has the highest users and BTC atm which i believe automatically make them the world police but I don't think they will sure Bitcoin cause if they have such a plan they won't have given Kraken the ease of crypto to fiat (vice versa) license. Mind you, Trump has once tried to stop Bitcoin and the Chinese either but they all failed.
With that been said, with the increase in institutions investment in Bitcoin we may somehow see some price manipulation from their side in the future though so the crypto community needs to spend less and accumulate more to avoid this from happening.
545  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should DT members tag accounts that evade the ban? on: November 14, 2020, 03:42:21 PM
I believe the rules are created for the fairness and wellness of the forum and the abusing act may increase in the forum if nothing is done by the DT about ban evade users. However, i think reporting ban evaded account or flagging such an account is still fair since it has nothing to do with a single person's decision.
546  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Didnt store 12 word phrase for coinbase wallet on: November 13, 2020, 10:54:36 PM
Not your keys not your coin.
Buddy, the OP issue have nothing to do with custodial and non custodial it completely consciousness cause even it your keys and you dont save the wallet seeds or private keys well the coins is also lost.
It sad the OP has to learn a pretty good lesson during the season of economic meltdown.
547  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will atomic swaps beat centralized exchanges? on: November 13, 2020, 10:24:47 PM

Atomic swap is very easy to use and no KYC which is more attractive to people who give importance to privacy.
Traders whoever just want to see the order book to bid for the lowest price. Centralize exchange just allows traders to spread fear too on the chatbox. This is just one of the things you just can't find on Uniswap.
No doubt atomic have the characteristics you mentioned but for newbies which still don't understand how to prevent a human error if security is a top priority I won't recommend the use Atomic swap and when it comes to using exchange user have to trust the exchange activities so i don't expect atomic swap to beat centralized exchange in that aspect because of it LN integration when it not the first exchange to do that.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 13, 2020, 09:58:39 PM
Perhaps the gambler from England who had bet as much as $5m have gone crazy. With the stakes not on target.
When a lot of big media support Donald Trump, he just believes, without analyzing and collecting data.
Because it turns out that the news is fictitious, and can’t prove Donald trump to win the presidential election right now.
But indeed, the country has a very high average salary, so for this gambler from England, $5m is not a big deal,
compared to the monthly salary he receives. Who knows?

Perhaps, that gambler addicted to gambling, and he doesn't realize that the money he used for betting was too big. Or he has a lot of money that he can use for gambling, so he will be okay if he losses that money. There are many opinions about him related to what he did in that gambling, but only he will know why. But for people who saw that amount, they will be amazing or shocked because the money was too big for them.

If he doesn't search for the data or does not analyze the data and only place the bet without valid data, he will lose in the gambling. That will also happen to us if we gamble without collecting data.

now I'm curious about this guys who made this bet after Biden successfully taken the seat.
I wonder if he's still gambling for some random politics sh*ts.
People can do crazy things when they have affection towards something especially when it has to do with gambling and this is the reason why online gambling added on their site a feature to help such people.
With that been said, if you check the date when the article was written you will see that the person in question stake his bet before Biden won the election.

Regardless of the win or loss of the bet on trump, betting with $5M is insane and very risky. This is clear that he must be a rich person who can afford such a big bet but i am not sure if he could bear this big loss. He would be considering himself very unlucky on this bet.
To common people betting with $5M is insane but for people who are whale it doesn't matter cause it not too extensively for them to afford to lose it and if you are a well follower of a gambling site on this forum you ought to have heard of the guy name WangTang which usually bet a big amount of BTC on a single game.

550  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits 2.0 |Instant BTC & ETH withdraws | Live Games & Slots! |Rakeback | VIP| on: November 13, 2020, 10:17:38 AM
6, You can now see stats for games like crazy time & monopoly. You can see the previous rolls up-to 1 month.
People like serjent05 which once have an issue with seeing his previous bets will be happy with this updates and I will be happy if the Duelbits team integrate more new games like Crash which will make their make their site an additional competitor to long existing crypto casinos.
551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halloween inspired poll –would your Bitcoins get passed on if you suddenly died? on: November 13, 2020, 06:06:33 AM
55% of my own holding will pass yo my heir but i hope he know how to operate hardware wallet

I also have a folder here in PC that contains all passwords and links to important stuff I have in crypto world.
Saving your password on a computer connected with the Internet is not advisable cause sign on your wallet on the online computer has to expose your wallet not to talk about saving all your password in a PC folder.

Quote from: Astvile link=the topic=5284824.msgon560624#msg55560624 date=1605006958
He also knows where I hid some of password written in paper but I don't think she will have interest that's why I'm not 100% that she will have that all if I suddenly died.
If more government support and legalized Bitcoin she will have interest in Bitcoin and your holding don't judge her understanding about crypto now.
552  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Interviews] with Bitcointalk members on: November 12, 2020, 09:58:43 PM
Hello zasad@,

I'm happy to be part of the forum interview you created

Questions:
1. When and why did you become interested in cryptocurrencies?
I was interested in cryptocurrency back in the year 2015 but I don't totally see it as an investment then and I only see it as something I can try out maybe something good will come out of it.

2. When and why did you buy your first bitcoin?
I bought my first Bitcoin in December 2015 through zapo.

3. How did you get on the forum?
I found this forum doing some reseach about Satoshi and I find out that he created this forum and I decide to join.

4.1. What prevents mass adoption of cryptocurrencies?
Cryptocurrencies investors see crypto as an asset than a currency, the government having a negative thought about crypto and the crypto community believes about centralized companies that want to join the crypto scheme.

4.2. How do you think mass advertising of gambling projects has a positive effect on the development of the forum or harms the community?
Mass advertisement of gambling gives the forum the sign to be well known in the gambling sphere and it also creates some sort of competition between gambling sites. However, this is a sign that a lot of gambling sites believe cryptocurrency is the future and the way to make a profit through their business.

4.3. How do you consider whether 2-3 years of experience in cryptocurrency is enough to successfully invest or does an investor need to receive special education?
Something someone is doing for 2-3 years is enough to have good experience in it but sometimes the level of individual understanding plays the big roles cause someone who's a guru in C++ can easily understand cryptocurrency than someone who's into it for years.

5. What do you think of the current Merit system and signature campaigns?  Do they harm the forum?
The current merit does no harm to the forum and it only makes user that make a reasonable contribution to the forum rank up.

6. The most useful forum topic? Most helpful users?
I believe the most useful topic of the forum is usually found in the project development, mining, technical support and meta aspect of the forum. The most helpful users I could think of right now are TryNinja, LoyceV, Vod, Coding Enthusiast etc.

7. 3 things you would implement on the forum?
Moderation of scam especially in the bounty setting and permaban of newbies accounts that spam the bounty with high ranking profile information.

8. Do you trade on exchanges or invest in projects?
Ever since 2017 I never invest in any new project but I do trade on exchange sometime cause I'm too lazy to be a day trader lol.

9. Tell a story about your big profit or big loss?
My big profit was through Komodo and my big loss was selling my AR coin last year when it was $0.5.

10. What do you think about the DEFI ecosystem?
There's too much hype surrounding the Defi ecosystem and I hope those that invest in it sell now before it too late because when the market correction happens a lot of Defi project will be dead.

11. Is your anonymity a vital necessity or precaution?
My anonymity is very vital to me and it good that Theymos also respect that cause liberation was the reason why 97% of us decide to join the crypto scheme.

12. The last cryptocurrency book you read?
Honestly, I never read one

13. Advise 3 cryptocurrencies/tokens for investment in the next 1-2 years?
I only believe Bitcoin, ETH and BNB to be a reasonable investment for the 2years.

14. How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2020?
No one can predict that but if the market maintains this current trend we may see a new ATH before the end of this year.

15. P.S. (Optional)
Thank you for the questions.
553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: November 12, 2020, 03:03:56 PM
Deontay Wilder is really forcing this trilogy fight now and most people knows that he would only lose again.
Look at Tyson Fury now offering to help him with his mental issues, and he is not showing interest to fight him  Smiley
Fury said he is preparing and hoping for his next fight on December 5th with Agit Kabayel in London:
https://www.boxingnews24.com/2020/11/tyson-fury-worried-about-deontay-wilders-mental-wellbeing-offers-to-help/

Anthony Joshua is fighting against Kubrat Pulev on December 12, and everyone is expecting Fury vs Joshua next.

For now, slowly the interest of this Trilogy is going now, they are not in the situation where fans are dying to see these two fighter fight in the ring, the interest now has shifted to Joshua vs Fury, and slowly Wilder is loss somewhere, of course he can get back, but not with a fight with Fury this time.

Both of these fighters would win their respective match, and I would say it's easy for them.

I don't think the interest is going anywhere and I'm sure most would want to see a trilogy fight than one against someone like Agit Kabayel. Surely people would rather see him face Wilder again than some bum or journeyman? The AJ fights are a long way away and AJ is fighting this month so there's no point Fury waiting around. The fight against Agit Kabayel might not even happen either and if AJ loses again there'll be another rematch.
notblox1, even with the result of their (Wilder v Fury) previous fight, it too early to tell the result of their trilogy fight that havent occur cause the two fighters have the chance of winning.
Natalim, it not that the fans are not really interested in the trilogy fight, it was Wilder mute about the fight that somehow keep the whole thing on hold and as hilariousetc said I believe people will want the trilogy fight than Fury taking on Agit but I think it Carlos Takam not Agit.
With that been said, this is what Wilder said about their last fight and also make a video about on Instagram.
Quote
it is time for you to be a man and honor your agreement.
What is this bullshit of you fighting Carlos Takam instead of me, you got to be kidding.
When you were going through your darkest time, I told you that if you got yourself together I would give you a title shot. Being a man of my word, I gave you the title shot.
When that fight was a draw, I told you that I would give you a rematch. You know I was offered more money to fight Joshua than I was getting to fight you. Again being a man of my word, I fought you
like I said I would.
In the rematch agreement, there was a rematch clause. Now it is time for you to be a man and honor your word, instead of trying to weasel out of our agreement. Scared people run but a scary man will break his contract you coward Azz B**čh!
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UPS AND DOWNS IN BOUNTY ACTIVITIES on: November 11, 2020, 05:49:46 PM
I think Newbies that started bounty activities this year 2020 never knew or understand fully how this space works. i think they need to research properly on this fourm on past topics posted here about how frustrating and annoying it could be. campaigning for projects that will suddenly turn their back on hunters meanwhile at the beginning they were friendly. i have seen so many projects pay hunters and most projects launched this year. it looks like we are back in the good old days.
We don't know if there are still newbies in 2020 who joined crypto, I have my hunch that those who joined in 2020 are just alts of someone who have been during bounties specially the 2017 boom. So I will say. that he/she knows the risk of joining bounty campaigns already.
Actually we still have some newbies that don't join the forum through alt account though there's no evidence to prove that but judging by some newbies posts, questions and how they judge into bounty campaign without proper research I won't say all of them have already know the risk in joining bounty campaigns.

As you join campaigns and earn your pay, remember that it could be frustrating at some point especially after the bitcoin bull run run that is been experienced recently.
My suggestion, build your knowledge and move to the services section for quality campaigns
the altcoin bounty section is highly unpredictable.
Again, this is already evident 2018 to present, bounty hunting are not that worth compare to 2017 wherein many hunters really make a ton of money despite many ICO's turning out to be a scam.
That's correct but things seem to be doing good in the bounty scheme after the Paypal integration. When was the last time you surf through the bounty section?
555  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance tempararly blocked my withdrawal because i changed pc on: November 11, 2020, 05:11:13 PM
First, changing of PC is clearly not the reason why your account been blocked and the use of a VPN can cause it in some situations which is why I will never recommend the use of VPN for exchange or gambling site.
Second, the withdrawal risk control was just noticed by the Binance admin cause sooner or later you'll be asked to upgrade your account by going through KYC since your holding on the exchange worth $30,000 which is almost the price of 2BTC.
556  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Would the bitcoin blockchain work for voting? on: November 11, 2020, 12:14:25 AM
Blockchain will provide a provably fair election voting system but due to the total transaction confirmation that Bitcoin blockchain can execute every 30 minutes it was indeed an idiotic idea to use Bitcoin blockchain for election voting system and it better to make use of blockchain that provide almost instant tx confirmation.
557  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newbie- member help! on: November 10, 2020, 11:12:23 AM
I will advise you not to buy copper membership if youre not a project owner thats planning to create ANN thread or bounty campaign and here you will find everything you need to learn in other to upgrade your account.

You're either lying, or you bought the account.

Also, taking a look at your post history, good luck actually getting any merits when pretty much all your posts are for bounties.
Honestly, ever since Bitcoin is gaining more propaganda and traffic different forms of deed should be expected by the opportunist and cryptocurrency spammers but we also have some people that joined crypto during the time of last ATH and decided to leave when the market blood bath occurred and never come back until now that Paypal joins crypto setting. Either way, him asking a question about how to upgrade his rank is a sign that he's intending to make some amendments.
558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 10, 2020, 10:00:36 AM
With 290 votes, Joe Biden ended Donald Trump’s four-year presidency. This is very sad news for the British gambler who has already bet $5 million
on Trump’s victory in the 46th American presidential election. I don’t think it will frustrate these British gamblers with losing that $5m.
Maybe the gambler’s income is huge, so for him to lose that much money to bet won’t be a problem.
This is only natural because England's economic growth is very good. And England is also one of the highest-paid countries in the world.

290 Electoral votes for Biden is not yet confirmed. A lot of ballots remain to be counted across the United States. In states such as Alaska, up to 40% of the ballots remain to be counted. And counting provisional ballots is going to take a lot of time, because the authorities first need to check their eligibility. On top of that, states such as Wisconsin are about to start their recount process.
sayaya17, the banker the wage the $5M is definitely a whales no common individual will dare there such a thing on an arrogant president but I was amazed that the overall wager on the election was $1B.
Sithara007, the banker have already lost the bet because Biden won the election and will begin his transition plans while Trump dont agree to the election result and he challenges the election result in court.
559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: November 10, 2020, 09:09:02 AM
Yes, he may want to fight Manny because of the money involve but people dont care and what they want is to see him in the ring with Manny.

People are willing to pay to get this two in the ring, otherwise this fight won't happen.
What people would really want is to see how Manny beat Conor badly, he is not the king in boxing, it's not MMA, so there's no chance he will win.
Wait. If its up to Manny fans they wont have want the fight to happen but this is between the UFC, Mayweather and Manny fans doing. They wanted to see if Conor have a chance to beat Manny.

If he stand with Mayweather until 10 rounds, i think he would not last 3 rounds with Manny if Manny will not think of the "EXHIBITION FIGHT".
You have to be kidding. Is Manny some kind of Superman? Let last time i check, Mayweather Jr punches is stronger than his which i believe you agreed with me if you have watch wrestle mania xxiv when Mayweather take on Big show and if Conor was able to endure his punches  till the 10th round there chance for him to beat Manny. Try and watch Conor boxing training so you won't base all your presumption about the fight on what's understand about Manny alone.
560  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com |Instant BTC & ETH withdrawals | Live Games & Slots! |Rakeback |VIP on: November 09, 2020, 11:29:08 PM
Tried my luck on slots yesterday and today, it seems mr. luck is not smiling on me Cheesy.  The highest multiplier I got is not more than 70x and somehow got tons of consecutive reds whichever slots I played.  Oh well, I guess I need to relax for now and try again after a few days.  Hope you guys get lucky and hit high multipliers.
If you're looking for a high multiplier you must have a good bankroll, games that provide a high multiplier are games with high volatility.
if you want to play comfortably then play on Medium/Low volatility and the RTP above 96.5
Gambling is just a game of chance which makes getting an elevated multiplier not to do with having a good bankroll since it have to do with luck and i will advice Serjent05 to join Duelbits Twitter account cause the competition seems to be easy to win because there seem to be less experienced gambler on there than the forum.

You are right about that, but there is a significant different between betting and gambling. they are not the same for sure.
Although both have the similarities that you need a factor of luck to be successful.
Betting and gambling don't have any significant difference between or mean but betting is used in the sports form of gambling while gambling is used when playing casino but they both have to do with waging money for a chance.

[Snil]
Then you lack the understanding about how the casino operates. One none of them can operate outside the rules/regulations giving go them by their master license holder and there which you mentioned was operated by third parties which make it impossible for any casino to rig your game result.
Speaking of provably fair, that gives you the right as a user to verify if the game is rig
With that been said, this is was among the issue i explained earlier gambling is a game of chance and the chance of you winning every game you play is 1% if you don't win that game that doesn't mean the result is rigged.

Hhampuz , Shut up and go away, nobody cares about what you are saying. You are paid to make posts for them here.
Please go, and stay away and stay away and crawl back into your hole.

If someone were to pay me to post (which nobody currently is) I'd argue that they very much care about what I have to say, no? You are like a toxic cesspool just jumping from thread to thread spreading your crap, let me guess you lost your ass on gambling and now you've made it your life mission to take down any and all gambling sites? You are sad, quite pathetic too.

You accept money to defend sportsbooks, just like you did with Betcoin.ag. Accepting money and bribing your own to write positively about a site, who is pathetic here?
Wait. What the point your message now? Are you saying they was absolutely right when he's making baseless accusations without any evidence.
Mind you, the forum dont support scam, spam and dont support baseless accussation either.
