We have just updated komodod master branch, and block 225000 will activate changes in consensus. In other words, we are doing a scheduled upgrade on block 225000, and all the key nodes have to upgrade before that.

If the new version is deployed before the block 225000 then no blockchain resync is needed, and all possible problems are avoided.

To upgrade the node just needs to do a git pull; make and launch komodod again.

There are ~10000 blocks to go, so about one week left.

Yes, we will publish the Iguana roadmap soon. Of course the times are just estimations, and delays are possible. However, considering the magnitude of our technology we are quite optimistic and the features are coming online relatively soon.

The first EasyDEX version will be released in 2-3 months according to the current (to be published) roadmap. A necessary piece in this are the liquidity provider nodes (LP nodes) that ensure our DEX has liquidity and it is actually usable. This week James announced that he is testing a market making bot in Bittrex, and that the LP tech is being completed.

Soon the Iguana GUI will have a page for the LP node config, which will allow us to publicly test out these liquidity provider nodes. Ideally we got the liquidity provider nodes ready once we release the EasyDEX GUI.

EasyDEX is a simple shape shift like DEX. After it is complete the GUI team will start developing a full trading environment called InstantDEX.

Hmm, the latest swap should be included. Is the ICO site balance zero? That would indicate that all of it is going to get paid in the next payout.

When you request a payout it is always for the whole balance.

Komodo is a big animal, but it doesn't control Poloniex, they have their own free will and will list us if they want to.

You can try to send a small amount first, and see if that goes through.

These issues are caused by various bugs which will be fixed. There's always a workaround, and we have live support in our Slack channel #support.

The release is a bit late as the dev team decided to fix a deeper issue the Basilisk Mode had. Here's what jl777 just said above:

No, SuperNET is not a coin so it is not possible to mine it. No further tokens can be created.

Komodo doesn't create any revenue, apart from the 5 % APR feature. Komodo is money and the infrastructure coin of our platform. That means that it has a place in our ecosystem. The demand for KMD will ensure the coins are worth something. For example, KDM is needed to get PAX fiats. But there's no source of revenue.

SuperNET owned BTCD and swapped them for Komodo, so in that sense SuperNET benefits from Komodo, and of course the overall ecosystem needs Komodo, Zcash privacy, dPoW, and notary nodes.

Komodo is not entitled to any SuperNET revenue, the REVS asset will get some though. There is no up to date picture about the revenue flows, but that is on 'to do' list.

The GUI team is developing the wallet every day, it is just a matter of time before all the major bugs are fixed. Next release scheduled to happen at the end of this week.

Notary Nodes notarize (record) komodo hashes into bitcoin blockchain via group signed bitcoin transactions.

Most people have already swapped, and the BTCD market doesn't have that big of an effect anymore.

 - BTCD volume is ~1 BTC

Many of the BTCD holders invested into our technology a long time ago, and kept holding it even when SuperNET was going through some crisis and a long bear market. I would say majority of the BTCD was in strong hands, and they are not looking to sell it all as they understand our vision.

We respect our investors and thus there is a BTCD swap. BTCD had a role in our ecosystem, and now Komodo is replacing that role, thus it is fair that the BTCD investors can exchaing their coin to the new coin. We had long discussions about this and not all the BTCD investors were happy, and I'm sure now all BTC investors are happy either. There's no way to make everyone happy, but this is the best solution we came up with.

A more stable beta release is coming at the end of this week.

To deposit funds to Bittrexx:
1. Login to Bittrexx and create a KMD deposit address
2. send funds to that address with Iguana app (login to Iguana app with your 12 word seed)

It's like with any other wallet.

PAX development is roughly spitted to two phrases: PAX1 and PAX2.

 - The 32 PAX assets have already been created, so they exist and have their own independent blockchain with dPoW protection and on-demand block generation
 - We recently hired another part-time GUI dev that is now working on PAX GUI together with Satinder. The GUI is coming together as our team is working on it every day.
 - We won't deal with anything that would require us to get a financial license, etc. However, we have found a way to integrate PAX assets with the fiat world, and that is something we will announce once its time come.

PAX1 backend is pretty much ready, needs a GUI
PAX2 removes certain restrictions we have to place for PAX1 as it will add shorting instruments and variable interest rates that will help the system stay in balance.
