I wish the volume was high enough for kraken to do margin on ICN that would seriously make me retire...
No stress, everyone who holds more than 10,000 ICO will be able to retire in 2018... That would be nice. For ICNX is it going to be tradable like any other token? Therefore will be pumping and dumping or do you litterally buy it and see profit coming back? I cant get a clear understanding of this. ICNX doesn't have dividends, it simply tracks the value of the basket of cryptocurrencies it is backed by. If you deposit capital into index fund on Iconomi platform, then new ICNX tokens are created and you can withdraw them. If you deposit ICNX tokens to the index fund on platform, then the ICNX tokens are destroyed and you can withdraw capital. This means the supply of ICNX (an ERC20 token on ethereum) will grow/shrink as people deposit/withdraw capital from index array. How are dividens payed out then? I read that holding Icn wouldn't pay out. I'm also a little confused with icnx :/ YOu will get divdents as long as you hold private key. So you will need to move your icn to wallet or Liqui or maybe devs will make Iconomi wallets for us |

Icn is a scam. Anyone want to take bets that their next "announcement" will go something along these lines -
We will have to delay the release, we want to make sure everything runs smoothly(like every crypto pump/scam)

all those that will invest future profits into hookers and blow and lambos, make sure you pay them in crypto and tell them to invest that money back into one of crypto funds on iconomi platform so we will get even higher fees

The price wont be just a 3K sat we are seeing a 1 usd value in the long run, i would not mind waiting for a long time to get listed in an exchange. If everything goes as it should be, we could see price around ETH price in near future. The price will skyrocket as soon as first crowdfunding will go live. I wonder how you got this estimation. Because I dont know on which ground price could go up so much. You have to start making some money with token to warant that price. Forecasting and evaluation should brink a lot of money to wings token holders in order to get such a price |

I want to ask if the Alpha wings DAO is a real DAO and the BTC pledge is a real one, because I don't think they should rush the platform since the mainnet is not available yet just to avoid the SLockit DAO mistake

The release was always going to be first quarter of 2017. So until told otherwise, assume the end of March.
They were almost ready to launch on Dec 28, but were delayed because they needed to apply fixes suggested by test group. Applying those fixes shouldn't take more than 3 to 4 weeks, unless they're rebuilding the entire platform from scratch.  "End of March" will be completely ridiculous, because that's long enough to build an entire fund management platform from scratch. So 3 months to build the first crypto fund management platform from scratch... Including design, architecture, setting the infrastructure, preparing the dev environment, writing the code, testing the code, UI... and few more You realise this platform will manage huge amount of money, do live trading on exchanges, etc And yet you know what is best for the project, how long it should take them to apply fixes and how long it takes to build it - all that without any actual look at it, and by the way you speak without having any clue whatsoever about coding or any other IT related project.. Maybe he should make his own one to have a benchmark for Iconomi |

Damn I was complitely wrong about Wings investment from ICNP hehe Wings has too complicated idea, not sure it really solves any real need in the world outside crypto. Alpha platform is out and it looks nice so i keep my fingers crossed for it. I think its real value could be to help small companies with ICO that does not have marketing funds like Chronobank an maybe to become a center for investors in ICOs. We will see with time but it is annoying they wont pay dividents from fees |

IF Iconomi gets listed on all top major exchanges and
To tell you the truth I'm quite happy it's listed on Kraken, gives ICN credibility which is much needed with all the trash coins around, Kraken has about 12 coins/tokens I believe being traded. They don't list random coins. Not getting listen on Polo will turn out for the better. have to agree here. Stable growth will be the best for good long term investment |

So if I understood white paper right, you will be etitled to "dividents" only if you will participate in DAO evaluation? There will be no standard dividents because Wings are not classical stock, am I right? These are not "dividends"; these are called getting rewarded for doing some work (in this case making an educated forecast) and being accurate in your work. Actually there is forecast rating goes up over time as well for actually showing up (making a forecast), so consistently showing up is also part of the reward. Dividends on the other hand are profits paid to shareholders of some company for work they did not do. In the WINGS system no one gets rewards for doing nothing. Ok thanks to clear up this for me |

Adding ICN/FIAT would be good thing i think. Because for newcomers its gonna be easier to buy crypto/fiat pair then first buy something else and then ICN. With more people in crypto there will be more volume

To get an impression how huge is this business in FIAT world I think the way Crypto world is going, fund managers will be the next big thing in Altcoin market, people need someone to manage their portfolio for them and this is good that ICONOMI is leading the way. I just hope they deliver the right platform Exactly that was my point. When people will find out about fund management I think this will be break through.
