Pool has been down for 2 minutes as I had to optimise it for PoW/PoS, sorry for the short downtime. Now Back up and we're getting blocks! pool down? I can not see my hashrate and pool status. What is your username? the pool is unstable. When I start cgminer, my hashrate is high, but it will drop and there is no accept. It is so strange! I have to restart cgminer again and again. I had the same problem getting setup. You may have to restart your computer to clear all the memory and then it may stabilize on the higher rate. Worked for me with cgminer. I think there may be a memory leak in the code that causes that to happen.

I just solo mined a block with no reward. Something is wrong.
The pool I am in jsut found a block with a reward. Restarted my client and still no dice. Orphaned block i guess. sh!t happens. Join a pool. I'm at http://grain.altminers.com and making good coin right now. They just did an adjustment and the payout is good. Got about 500 for 30 minutes of messing with my miner and restarting my computer to clear the memory.

What pool are you mining? Are there others than altminer?
I've only been mining for about 15 minutes and there should be something showing. I'll hash away for a while and see if they get the front end fixed.
Finally I got cgminer mining at about 375mh. See what shakes out with some tuning.
I was finally able to get CGminer to work with the windows-qt, putting out 333mh from my block erupter, lets see if i hit any block with this crazy high diff
Other than the Erupter specific stuff, how did you get it to recognize "localhost"? I can get 300mh+ from my GPU if I can get it to connect.

Sorry, very new to mining. I've added -gen=1 to the shortcut path and when the wallet is opened all 8 cores read 100%. I'm not getting any GLB in my wallet however, does it usually take a while to produce anything?
Also does the .conf file have to be called anything specific? How would I go about checking my hash rate using the Windows-Qt method?
Your conf file is in roaming\appdata\globe if you are using win7 flavor and should be named globe.conf. You can check your hash rate by typing getmininginfo in the debug console in the windows client-->Help-->Debug window-->console.

So how would I go about mining with the Windows-Qt file?
Same way, create a shortcut for the windows qt, right click on it and go to properties and add -gen=1 to the end of the path to the qt client. You can also use GUIminer. I was hashing at around 270K/hs.

When I run cgminer, it says "no suitable long-poll found for..." -> it's normal as i'm solo mining, but just after, it quits, without any error or warning. What am I doing wrong ? My conf file: listen=1 rpcallowip=* rpcuser=username rpcpassword=password rpcport=8682 port=8684 server=1 daemon=1 addnode=81.107.45.67 addnode=31.55.44.123 addnode=109.190.53.141 addnode=93.83.25.85 addnode=78.160.226.228 addnode=84.249.109.128 addnode=83.215.164.206 addnode=146.185.150.184 addnode=202.198.62.133 addnode=151.229.177.76 addnode=110.22.7.0:8684 addnode=109.190.53.141
Quit reading my mind LOL. I'm getting ready to do the same thing as soon as everything is synch'd. What port are you using? 8682 or 8684? Not sure what the local port should be.

Okay, which libdev do I need to install to get libdb_cxx-5.1.so? I don't use Linux that much.
Im not quite sure nod probably knows this better but if he doesn't reply.... try: sudo apt-get install build-essential libdb5.1-dev libdb5.1++-dev It will maybe works, installation is still in progress for me. What i've done for Ubuntu: ldd globed -> it lists all the required files then i searched every files in google and installed each required package (i do not remember their names...), but in the end i got a segmentation error. EDIT : installation finished, let's see what happens. I'm using the software manager and getting them loaded now. See what happens when it's done.

S***, i've installed every missing packages one by one and now i'm getting "Segmentation error (core dumped)". What is the exact version of Debian you used for compiling (i want to download the same and run it in a VM) ?
Sorry for your troubles. I am using debian-7.1.0-i386 No problem, you don't have to be sorry, it's decentralized so no one is responsible, if i'm not happy i just can leave, but i stay here, beautiful philosophy lol @digitaltradz : i'm doing the same... Who will be the fastest ?! Well thanks thats very kind. It reminds me of the quote : An army of principles can penetrate where an army of soldiers cannot."- Thomas Paine Although in this case its more An army of philosophy can penetrate where an army of technical issues cannot."- Thomas Paine Debian installation is sooooo long (net install), hope I can start mining tonight. I downloaded the torrent for the Live version and got it installed. Now to grab the QT

nod, I'm installing Debian now, I'll let you know how it goes.
Is that downloaded on the Windows build? I'm downloading Debian to run on a virtual machine right now.

A fix is being worked on for Windows wallet by some of the folks here. As soon as it's ready they'll post the files.

What's Tranz IP cause I'm getting the same thing, won't download chain.

Ripped me off again. Piss off Nick. I'm going to rape the pool and be gone. What an ass.

Notroll is screwed. Just got another .5 LTC taken away. Cash out at .10 and the it's okay. Until Nicsasa learns. Oh well. Isn't life strange?
