541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TRC][POOL][DGM] RoyalMiningCo Pool on: November 30, 2013, 02:50:23 PM
With BTC-E no longer delisting TRC and the big increase in the price of BTC and various alt coins, I've gone ahead and upgraded the web and database servers to larger machines. At the moment I'm losing money on them but I'm hoping use of the pool will pick up some.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TRC][POOL][DGM] RoyalMiningCo Pool on: November 29, 2013, 10:53:28 PM
For the whole pool? Yeah I should do that.

For yourself you just need to click on your user string on the front page and it'll give you all sorts of info.

Now says they will not delist after all.
544  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL has Black Friday SALE!!! Be careful on: November 29, 2013, 01:52:26 PM
The dates on the web site might be out of date. It's safer to listen the dates in the actual Black Friday ad they emailed out, which says "early 2014" for shipping with th older 65nm products in stock and shipping immediately.
545  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: So, did you buy more stuff from BFL on the Black Friday event? on: November 29, 2013, 01:51:13 PM
My Jalapeno works fine. Considering getting a Single.
546  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BFL Monarch - Black Friday on: November 29, 2013, 01:50:31 PM
The email ad says the Monarch ships in "early 2014" right in the email. Don't expect it in December.

The older devices are in stock and ship immediately.
547  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: BitBurner Fury IN STOCK MAJOR PRICE CUT on: November 19, 2013, 03:14:08 AM
Well BTC/USD is out of control right now. Just nuts.

I'd suggest you price the miners in USD/Euro instead.
548  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: BitBurner Fury IN STOCK MAJOR PRICE CUT on: November 18, 2013, 07:19:28 PM
Can the CAN-BUS be used between different devices, like a Bitburner XX + Bitburner Fury?
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTC and TRC getting removed from btce -- which currency will replace them? on: November 14, 2013, 02:32:10 PM
TRC is still getting removed.

Yar, what was the volume of TRC trades after the news though? If I wasn't tired, I'd find out both of their trade volumes since the news came out they were being delisted, and see if that supported my thesis.

About 250K coins the half hour following the news. FTC volume was about 650K-750K each of the following half hour blocks. So about 2 million FTC coins in total were dumped on the news. Once BTC changed their mind, the value shot back up.

Since I run a TRC pool it's the only coin I pay much attention to, need to find a new exchange to try though. BTC-E is the only one I've used much in the past.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TRC][POOL][DGM] RoyalMiningCo Pool on: November 14, 2013, 02:19:57 PM
BTC-E is where I do all of my TRC sales, but they are delisting it in a couple weeks. What other exchanges do you like? I've not really used anyone other than BTC-E.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TRC][POOL][DGM] RoyalMiningCo Pool on: November 13, 2013, 09:38:51 PM
Hi there. Coinotron does have way more speed. They were the biggest (almost only) pool back when I first got this one started. There are other pools too, but noone is even close to Coinotron's size.

So it just comes down to preference basically, in terms of stats/interface. Also in my pool there's no login/pw that could hacked/stolen, and all coins are paid out as part of finding new blocks, so I never hold anyone's coins. Both of those were core features I wanted when starting my pool up. I also think DGM is the best available payment model.

Sometimes when TRC gets more profitable, some larger ASICs will join for the pool for a while. Maybe I should show a speed history graph on the front page of the pool's total speed (like on the user stat pages for user-specific speeds).

If you have any suggestions on what I can do to improve the pool for you, please chime in. Smiley
552  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: November 08, 2013, 04:35:06 PM
Aren't the chips for one board alone priced at 0.95BTC?

It is 19 Euro or 25 USD per chip right now for small lots. There's a discount for a reel for of 3000 a few months from now. (An immediate reel is much more expensive.)
553  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: November 08, 2013, 01:54:23 PM
Do you need 3000 at once though?

http://www.bitfurystrikesback.com/product/bitfury-55nm-asic-chips/

Has individual chips in stock for sale, and can sell them in trays in lots of 260.

Or in USD:

https://megabigpower.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&path=33&product_id=62

Of course I'm not sure how the larger scale production is needed, so to mass produce miners is the reel of 3000 needed to fee into the assembly machines?
554  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Jalapeño on: November 03, 2013, 02:48:34 AM
No BFL has still to reach April 30th 2013 shipping dates but they are closing on that date so maybe before Xmas. Smiley

My order was earlier in April and arrived about a week ago. So you shouldn't have to wait much longer.
555  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast launches sales of the Baby Jet on: November 03, 2013, 02:46:12 AM
pure greed. we are all human and want to make money. makes the most sense.

So merely anecdotal based on a common problem with the human condition?

It's called "projection". If hashfastcow had an ASIC company he'd rip people off in this manner, so he assumes everyone else would act in the same way he would.
556  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 03, 2013, 02:31:20 AM
Interesting concept.  Have you any evidence to support your theory?

It's the same conspiracy nonsense you could find in the thread of every single ASIC product. Best thing to do is just add people who spout it to your ignore list and move on.
557  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BitBurner Fury ~50GH/s IN STOCK 499€ + 21%Vat ! and faulty USB on: November 01, 2013, 01:27:14 PM
this is just a tale told by fraudulent dealers! knc  and many others still selling their bitcoin related items with paypal
PayPal is only freezing accounts what is doing faulty Business!

They've seized funds from indie game developers in the past as well, such as Xenonaughts, Minecraft, and others. Just Google "PayPal seizing funds".
558  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BitBurner Fury ~50GH/s IN STOCK 499€ + 21%Vat ! and faulty USB on: November 01, 2013, 01:07:14 PM
btw.. why he does not accept Paypal anymore?
Paypal was the only way to get my Money back from CryptX, after i never seen my buyed Miner! (and never become a replay of emails and so on)

PayPal is generally rejecting any Bitcoin related business, and seizing the funds of any that already use PayPal.
559  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: November 01, 2013, 01:06:29 PM
Hello burnin,

Avalon will soon start auction of their 55nm chips on TradeHill auction. Will you be able to build boards for these chips?

You're a brave one to trust Avalon to actually ship chips on time after the last disaster.
560  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: October 30, 2013, 02:11:03 PM
What are the bitburner XX "standard" Avalon and voltage settings for cgminer without overclocking?
