A lot is riding high on ETF decision. If it gets approved then be ready see the bitcoin price shoot to 2000$ to 3000$, irrespective of any one understanding significance of it. But big whales are moving(buying/selling) large bitcoin chunk too fast.  If it gets rejected then some correction is expected but bitcoin price would not plunge by huge margin. It would be relatively small/appropriate.

It is better to stay away from the cloud mining. Most of them are indeed scam. Those which are legit offer very low earning to invest. Those offering high return are probably scam.

Not invested a penny in fraud. However I've seen this fraud flourished among colleagues and most of them have taken personal loan just to invest in this scheme. Now these people have lost their mind/money when these new changes. I've been asked to invest in gainbtc however after reading this thread I started investing it from my side. I found more evidence of fraud nature of it.  Sad part is there are people who are still joining it.

You indeed have vivid imagination! But that is in wrong direction.

Neither I visited ASOCHAM nor would have received any answers because that was not the platform. More importantly it is the investors who invested their money in gainbtc should do that.

I checked the site and it seems his reply wasn't a spam.  The site is peer to peer exchange for digital coin. Some observations :
* There is no mention about who is behind this site. The leaders are not mentioned.
* HQ is located at Tamilnadu
* nothing much to add about the site.
* site Looks more amateurish than professional.

US Dollars will remain global currency in coming years as well. There is no chance of any country allowing digital cryptocurrency to become global currency.

100% sure that it wont be used by more than 20% of world. Current bitcoin technology is not scalable to the world or country level market.

Digital currencies have some acceptance just because of bitcoin is successful so far. Others have tried and not succeeded that much. If in future other cryptocurrencies scale up to the expectation then one could switch between them otherwise sticking to bitcoin is safe.

It is not going to happen soon and hopefully later as well.  There is much more awareness and people involvement in bitcoin. 

ETF has been rejected twice/thrice earlier. And that too based on security issue and not on price fluctuation. So there is chance of rejection this time as there is chance of approval as well.  Approval will help in gaining rise.

- Payment system has been changed. That too without any intimation to users. This has created rage, frustration among the investors.
- Now these investors who have been receiving payouts regularly till now, have to get the payouts by manually requesting the payouts. This is particularly affecting majority of users who have created dummy account or farmed account of and invested 0.1 btc contracts from gainbtc.

1. Forced investor to use the coinbank app for withdrawal or receipt. There are increasing cases of payments and transactions getting delayed over 2 days.
2. New condition on withdrawal limit:   It seems that Mr. AB has implemented limit on withdrawal. That is minimum amount one could withdraw is 0,05. This mean those who have account-farm or accounts with contract worth 0.1btc will get 0.01 per month. This mean these contracts will have to wait for five and half or six months for withdrawal.
Just imagine the consequences of this. Those with 100 or 200 contracts worth 0.1btc will  be screwed because 100 contracts worth 0.1 are now stuck for five months or more to get withdrawal from those accounts to reach 0.05btc threshold.

This must have definitely caused havoc for those who were defending the gainbitcoin for there regular payouts.

HODL is good policy. However price wont drop after ETF rejection. It is definitely going to get some correction.  Another cause we need to  check is Chinese market situation:

As per bloomberg report the story is different. It says that major exchanges will life the suspension after regulators approve internal compliance upgrades. More information at [1]

The chinese exchanges have continued to hold the suspension on the withdrawals. This is a big thing. Because this time the ban is for indefinite time. suspension will lift only after regulators approve internal compliance upgrades. Withing few hours, the price drops in bitcoin prices fell sharply and continued to remain so.

* Absence of FUD ( fear, uncertainty, doubt),
* Absence of pump and dump

There you go price of bitcoin will 99% stable. With above two options, price of anything will remain stable/steady and all increase or decrease will be gradual.

This is true especially when trying to estimate the usage of bitcoin in day to day life. Just check how much time does any credit/debit card takes to complete the transaction. It happens in few seconds. Everytime I try to send or receive bitcoins average time is few hours. Who would wait for that much amount of time for completion of transaction.  Bitcoin technology needs to be scalable to growing requirement.
Just imagine what would happen when bitcoin price would reach to the highest level, transaction fees also increase exponentially. That is not good sign.

Looking at recent price fluctuations, it does seems that prices are being manipulated. Prices are observing bit of dump now.

Trading is short term self-investment whereas investment is a long term trading.   There are many ways to go about trading. Investment also requires quite a lot research.
