541  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADING TOOLS? useful/useless on: October 26, 2019, 04:13:18 AM
Heyhey. Little help needed here.
Are tools for arbitrage, coin tracking, correlations etc useful or are they just another pitfall for not learning crypto? Was searching for useful platforms but got even more confused, which ones are trustworthy?
Appreciate the help!

The thing here is that it is not the tools you are using. It is what you are making of those tools. Those tools that you mentioned are there for your perusal. How good are you with those is another story. If you are good enough then you will probably hit the right price range for your orders. But if not, you will expect that those tools will be useless to you.
542  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin Doubler? on: October 26, 2019, 03:49:20 AM
I'm really confused about this kind of platform wherein you just have to invest your money and after 24 hours, they will double your money without you doing anything. Is it really possible?

No need to get confused. That is an outright scam. In other words, that is too far from being possible. Even the best of traders cannot double their money in 24 hours.

You may ask yourself, is there any business in the world that has a very profitable source of income that they are soliciting for investments and can afford to pay them double in just a single day?
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another Shit Coin Up 155.54% (24H) Today on: October 26, 2019, 03:19:33 AM
When will these shit coins go away so all the damn money spent on them can go to real projects like Ripple's XRP? We need regulations now.

Wixlar (WIX) today's price is $0.0225 with a current market cap of $53,889,162.00. Wixlar (WIX) 24-hour price change is 155.54% up.

You can never expect regulations in the altcoin market, much less in the whole world of crypto. Who or what agency will do that? The cryptocurrency phenomenon is saturating the entire globe and they are subject to no single country's laws and regulations. But the shitcoins will die if the people will begin to see their true colors. For now, lessons are being taught to them in the hard way.

When you complained about Wixlar (WIX) and compare it to a real project, you should not have cited Ripple (XRP). A lot are saying that Ripple (XRP) is also a shitcoin. Why not mention Bitcoin instead?
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCH price prediction on: October 26, 2019, 02:52:36 AM
I sold a small percentage of my BTC today but still have the BCH I got with them. Not sure whether to sell them now too. What's everyone's thoughts on whether BCH will continue to move in tandem with the BTC price or whether it will outperform or underperform BTC. I have to admit I have never really followed its movement or predictions for its future - I have focused mainly on BTC.

You should have done the opposite, sell your Bitcoin Cash and shift into Bitcoin. Altcoins such as Bitcoin Cash are just following the lead of Bitcoin. When Bitcoin falls, they also fall. When Bitcoin rises, they also rise. Look at what is happening right at this moment, Bitcoin rallies, some altcoins are also rallying including Bitcoin Cash. But the percentage of increase of Bitcoin is higher than Bitcoin Cash.
545  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s President Xi Urges Accelerated Blockchain Technology Adoption on: October 26, 2019, 02:05:07 AM
This is not a total surprise from china since their courts were already recognizing Bitcoin as a property. But this one is very special because it is the president himself who proclaims that the blockchain technology should be utilized and with a little sense of urgency with it. This is Xi Jinping talking, the most powerful man in china. This will have a massive effect on blockchain and its use, and most likely on Bitcoin as well, the coin that comes to mind when talking of blockchain.
546  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin using or need! Vs stable coins on: October 25, 2019, 02:04:31 AM
Bitcoin and stable coins are two separate worlds. Bitcoin is limited. Its maximum supply is only 21 million. How about stable coins? You can create as many as trillions and quadrillions. There is a problem in there as we all know. With stable coins, we are going to face the same problems as fiat. Fiat is printing billions out of nothing. The value of stable coins is the same value as fiat. And the value of fiat is determined by the same old players who owns the banks. Stable coins are nothing but a little more than digital fiat. Come to think of it.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Tips On How To Receive More Rewards In Bounty Campaigns! on: October 24, 2019, 03:22:30 PM
If you want to receive more rewards in bounty campaigns, there is only one way. That is, to develop your skills. If you are a good coder or programmer, or if you are expert in creating videos, you will make massive income. You will even get paid in whatever coin you prefer. That is the best way to receive more reward.

But the more important question at this point is, how sure are you that the bounty campaign you are joining will pay? You need to learn to make sure that whatever campaign you are joining is legit and will pay.
548  Economy / Economics / Re: Fear of Facebook spurs Federal Reserve to build its own digital currency on: October 24, 2019, 02:52:58 PM
Yes this is what I was talking about , the reason the government was so controlling over the Facebook's decision of building their own cryptocurrency is not because it is bad for the society but it's because  they fear that it might cause a uproar , a now government , a new nationality might arrise , everyone already knows how many people are on Facebook and how many companies trust them and are sponsoring them , therefore I think it might really be successful.

while I agree with the first part of your thoughts, but as for the second one I think it is even too complex then that. all they want is to control financial flows and money emissions
in fact it does not matter for them if it is paper or digital money until they control it and gains profits.

Their attitude can be summarized from your post. It does not matter for as long as they gain profit. That is what they are and what they do. This attitude covers not only about financial flow and money emissions. This also includes the observance of the law. They do not care about whether something is illegal or not for as long as the price is paid. Double standard is always the standard of the government.
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who will Take over the Vechain Bulls or Bears? on: October 24, 2019, 02:25:10 PM
VeChain (VET) has a lot of recovering to do. I am happy that it is increasing in Bitcoin value, although very minimal, right now even if it is decreasing in US dollar value. But the truth remains that VeChain (VET) is more likely to be faced with a ferocious bear rather than a goring bull. But on the overall, this project will still be among the investment options by the altcoin investors. VeChain (VET) is always among the old solid altcoin gangs.
550  Economy / Speculation / Re: One more bitcoin dump ? on: October 24, 2019, 01:59:34 PM
What do you guys think about today's sudden dump of over $700 ? Is it a sign of further market crisis and bitcoin going back to $3,500 or $4,000 like the month of April or else it's temporary and we will see surge soon as this might have been created to reinvest into it by whales?

I don't think we will ever get to as low as $3,500 or $4,000 for the rest of 2019. That is very hard to consider. We have been there already in the past year up to this year. For the rest of 2019 and the coming 2020, everyone is looking at the ATH already. There is no reason why people will look back at the deepest bottom when we have have repeatedly been there without breaking the recorded ATH almost 2 years already.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zuckerberg: we will exit from project Libra !!!! on: October 24, 2019, 01:34:07 PM
Zuckerberg: if legislators’ trust is not gained, we will exit from project Libra
CEO of Facebook in a hearing in front of the Congress said that Facebook is no longer in the position of project controller and the operation of Libra is independent.
What do you think about this?

This is the ultimate decision that the CEO of Facebook has to make in the coming weeks. I think they are somewhat exhausted already convincing the government of the good objective of their project. And after all the efforts have been made, they still end up failing to gather the trust and support of these people. The loudest voice is still NO. If there is one or two YESes, it is enough for it to be buried among a hundre NOs.
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GUIDE AGAINST TOKEN PRICE DUMP on: October 24, 2019, 01:09:09 PM
You are mentioning way too many factors. Actually there are a few factors for a token to avoid price dump. One is that it should have a good project, tokenomics and real-life utility to be exact. This alone is even enough for a project to move forward and stand out above the rest. Another factor is that it is a project by a highly respected and popular crypto personality. This alone could also be enough for a project to move forward even if the product is below excellent.
553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: new possibilities of government crackdown on bitcoin on: October 24, 2019, 12:46:49 PM
Government has cracked down bitcoin before (such as China and India). Do you think what is the possibilities of government crackdown on bitcoin in the next 10 years?

This is important to me as I am going to leverage heavily in the coming bull market. I may lose all my money if the government crack bitcoin once again.

Thank you a lot!

You are worrying too much. If you are too worried about the next ten years, you should not consider it a hindrance to your actions in the next months or years. Do your thing now and worry later or when it is near. You will surely cross the bridge when you get there. And I know you are aware that Bitcoin cannot be seized. Don't worry about the governments, Bitcoin can always go around them and their rules.
554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some essential trading rules beginners! on: October 24, 2019, 11:29:29 AM
8. Always have risk management and money management! (Unfortunately half of the trader even don't know what these two are)
9. Start from learning by little instead of putting pressure on yourself and making the process stressful!
For me, this is the most important. The risk management.
There are lot of traders nowadays that has still lack of knowledge in risk management, event they are already trading for months or years. Newbie or not, day trader or not. They have still not risk management which is difficult. I admit that I am also like that before, but when I learned the risk management, my portfolio becomes healthy.

Risk management is very important. But it is going to be a minor consideration to one who has yet to know the basics of trading. Learn to analyze and trade first before anything else. Even if you are very careful in every step of the way and risk too little, if you do not win in your orders, you are still losing.

Both points in 8 and 9 may be tied to emotions.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin SV vs ETH on: October 24, 2019, 10:56:47 AM
Though Bitcoin SV is good coin and rank number nine. But, No doubt, Ethereum is best coin after bitcoin. So, we coin invest or hold or buy eth more without thinking.

In what particular ways would you consider Bitcoin SV good? For sure the rank does not suffice to explain it. Other than the word Bitcoin in its name, I cannot find any other good in it. That is certainly the only thing that makes it to that high rank. You cannot compare that to Ethereum. It stands not a single chance against Ethereum if original features, innovation, and contribution to the crypto development is taken into consideration.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is your opinion about MinexCoin on: October 24, 2019, 10:34:31 AM

Dear Community

I want to know now is right time to buy/ invest MinexCoin ?

Thank's

Even from a noob investor/trader's point of view, this is not a nice coin to buy. This project is barely breathing. This will die along with other shitcoins pretty soon. It is ranked lower than 1,000. Also, this coin is already at the bottom for some time. Although the volume is not yet dead because it has a reported $83,529 USD, I doubt if this is the real numbers. And among 3 exchanges where this coin is listed, the highest volume goes to the most unknown one. That is an indicator that the volume is fake. Stay away from this coin.
557  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin freelancing is dead? on: October 24, 2019, 10:03:21 AM
I've never really seen Bitcoin freelancing as separate from freelancing. I was a freelancer/self-employed person for a period of time until 2006, before having made the decision to relocate to a new place in 2015/16... forcing me to return to freelancing and remote work.

I still took a time to rebuild networks and reputation, before the gigs started flowing back in. And I had to work for a long time to slowly convince people (employers) to pay in bitcoin. Until around 2018 even, some were still paying in paypal or even bank wire but as of today, all my main clients are 100% crypto (only 1 pays in alt) and the few who still insist on paypal or others I no longer focus on as much.

So in practical aspects, I'm about virtually 100% freelancing for bitcoin.

Freelancing works better on upwork and other non-crypto specific platforms (ie. work your ass off by reaching out to people). Then it's your job to convince them to pay in btc. I offer a discount on my rates for bitcoin payments, and that's the clincher. They save 3%-5% on costs, I make it up by also gaining bitcoin feeless and I sell it on a good rate p2p.
I couldn't have said it any better , relying on a freelancer sites with the current bad trends bitcoin market won't give you any solutions... people tend to play safe lately, rather than have to risking themselves buy some bitcoin to pay services while the value could dropped drastically, is it makes any sense? Of course it is.

I was seoclercks customer back in 2014 / 2015 .. I choose them because they accept bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin ... guess they are no longer accept crypto payment since 2017/2018 for undisclosed reason. Now I feel the same like OP who thinks that the crypto freelancers it seems slowly dead left out, that's from a customer view.

This is clearly a single step backward for the progress of Bitcoin or cryptocurrency adoption. Freelancing is a niche where Bitcoin could have thrived since it is mostly done through the internet, and payments asked and made will have to cross borders. Crypto should really be gaining in this billion-dollar niche. But it seems the significant changes of cryptocurrencies' prices which happens all the time is spoiling every potential.
558  Other / Off-topic / Re: How Secure are Password Managers? Here’s What to Keep in Mind on: October 24, 2019, 09:12:33 AM
Password managers have grown in popularity over the years, but do they really keep your information safe? This article will give you guidelines that will help in making your data more secure than ever. https://selfkey.org/how-secure-are-password-managers-heres-what-to-keep-in-mind/

Do you personally use Password Managers too?

I am not using password managers. I don't like using generated passwords from third parties. I would prefer to just create my own complicated password and write it down on a piece of paper. That would be it. The most important thing for me in a password is that it is at least 10 characters long, with small and capital letters, and a combination of letters, numbers, and characters. That is safe enough already.
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asia can be the biggest crypto market on: October 24, 2019, 08:48:07 AM
As an Indonesian citizen, I can already see that currently the development specifically in my country is quite strategic because many people have started to know about cryptocurrency investments. plus the State has given a stance regarding cryptocurrency that is not prohibited in my country. but as an investment it is not a tool for payment

Just like a lot of countries in Asia, cryptocurrencies are not accepted as a legal tender because they are not under monetary laws as currencies. Well, how could they create a law on cryptocurrencies as a currency with all the confusions about regulation regarding circulation, volatility, blockchain, and other technicalities of it? Countries are still getting the hang of cryptocurrency as a currency and not just as an investment, asset, or security.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to get in? (DX token) on: October 24, 2019, 04:20:06 AM
Any advice?

Advice about DxChain Token (DX) is what I cannot give you right now. But you made it great. This is the first time I learned about the existence of this token. And when I checked it in coinmarketcap.com, it is showing good signs. It is rising as of this moment while the rest of the market is going down. Making profit even when the market is red is always a good thing.

Just be careful about dumping. The circulating supply is just half of the total supply. Set your take profit limit a little lower.
