After some time, and you'll keep getting paid for a few hours after you stopped mining. That's because of pplns system. Keep mining and your income will go up. |

Im getting sick of notroll.in the LTC mining pool:
-they rise their fees without notice
-they have a no withdraw for 12 hour without notice
they give NO info at all.
What LTC mining pool is similar in hash rates and has a fee <5% that has proper user support?

Seriously though, there isn't really much point in making Litecoin forks just to get the happy warm and fuzzy of seeing 50 WhateverCoins in your wallet.
Don't underestimate the power of the warm, fuzzy feeling. Joined the party late (my own fault) and have single digit LTc & BTC. Having 50+ Feather Coins have given me new hope @skull88 - I think everybody is worried about missing BitCoin 2.0 - I certainly don't want to be the guy who spent a ton buying shares for MySpace while ignoring the new kid on the block. Of course, it has to give significant advantages - considerably faster confirmations, for a start. Feathercoin has very fast confirmations and a decent profitability selling/buying trough the forum. I will admit I am impressed by the ferocity of this coins early adoption. I started mining it for the heck of it last night... this morning the difficulty had nearly doubled and I'm not even in the top 15 anymore. People are jumping on this bandwagon, and that may give FC some value weather or not there is any other logical reason for it.
We shall see.

With 1400khs I can mine 700 feathercoin a day or 3.9 ltc. So 1400 fc = 8 ltc !
Difficulty is raising up fastly though. |

You are correctly solo mining. The difficulty is high enough that it may take a long time to solve a block. I would suggest joining the pool linked in below to mine. http://fc.dontmine.me/Ignore the mining tab in the GUI and use cgminer. Quick question on the pool - on the manual cash out option, it says it charges a 0.1 ltc fee. I'm guess typo?  Yes it is, it's 0.1 FC :-) I found same amount it's charged by other FC pools. I also found same fee applies in case of very low amount payment from my wallet to another one. (0.03 FC). It says the 0.1 will go to nodes confirming transactions. |
