i think xrp is a LONG term hold. it has to much support for it to not be.
It's not so expensive to put some bucks on ripple, the problem is it worth? How much can it grown? It's at billion market cap I believe in ripple, but the nerds on the internet boicott it because it's ''from banks'', i wanna see them cry if ripple could reach the 10$ each one day. Rule#1 here on Bitcointalk: be prudent on threads about a coin that underperformed BTC. It means that investors who did not leave the boat early enough are sore, and therefore have "discutable" views on the potential of this coin (hopes). Fight is real, and tough. That is why XRP is trying to pivot into a new paradigm by working with GOVERNMENTS, not banks, in order to create an innovative inter-banking solution. This is where the value is for XRP. I have little doubt that they will acheive it technologically. But central banking, and banking in general is a small world and being a SF based startup threatening the incumbents is not a fantastic solution. big question mate and I think we will wait for much more time as we seen that in every attempt to pumped up big bag holders sell their coins so its been an up and down scenario and bitcoin is bullish so 1$ per xrp will depend on how the btc will stop and be steady for a while. really, indeed if the ripple at 1 dollar would be the price would be nice,  hopefully a few more months the price can reach 1 dollar Come on dude! You do not really think it will happen in 1-2 months, do you? We are talking about Ripple here. Their total supply is more than 38 billion now. When Ripple is $ 1, the market cap will surpass $ 38 billion. Does it make sense for Ripple to pass Ethereum? Ripple did that once, why not? Even though when it happens, BTC will be 100B market cap, and Ethereum might go to 50B depending on all these forking things, but yes, why not? 2018 1T market cap? Or new calculus for market cap? |
