I enjoy using IDEX with smart contracts and instant exchanges like Changelly, ChangeNOW, ShapeShift... but I'm just a casual user, so I don't care much about trading performance. I think these exchanges are sufficient for casual users.
As for traders and whales, I think they always end up in centralized exchange due to performance (and liquidity) superiority. I'm afraid that the centralized exchanges would end up like the Wallstreet IMO for more security.

Bitcoins are sent to and from bitcoin addresses, which are essentially random numbers with no identifying information.
When you send to an IP address, the transaction is still written to a bitcoin address. The IP address is only used to connect to the recipient's computer to request a fresh bitcoin address, give the transaction directly to the recipient and get a confirmation.
Blocks contain a history of the bitcoin addresses that a coin has been transferred to. If the identities of the people using the bitcoin addresses are not known and each address is used only once, then this information only reveals that some unknown person transferred some amount to someone else.
The possibility to be anonymous or pseudonymous relies on you not revealing any identifying information about yourself in connection with the bitcoin addresses you use. If you post your bitcoin address on the web, then you're associating that address and any transactions with it with the name you posted under. If you posted under a handle that you haven't associated with your real identity, then you're still pseudonymous.
For greater privacy, it's best to use bitcoin addresses only once. You can change addresses as often as you want using Options->Change Your Address. Transfers by IP address automatically use a new bitcoin address each time.

I don’t remember why we need stock market at the first place
Companies/businesses need the stock market to raise capital and to get some "benefits" of being a public company. I was forced into investing because why? I believe most of us are forced into investing because the inability of the government to curb inflation, we are forced into stock market, to make a lot of money fast, so that we can survive the other day, try to prove me wrong on this one, and when we get into stock market, we are forced to be obligated to invest not to get rich quick, it is completely bullshit, stock market can’t even fix your money problem and we are still being told to invest in stock market so that we can fix the money problem
No one force you to invest mate. If you want to make much money fast, you should create your own business, not putting your money in some financial instruments and hope that your investment will go to the moon. Old and rich people don't actively create businesses anymore because they don't have to. Thus many of them choose to invest via various financial instruments understanding risk-return. However, some still actively creating something valuable. So if you are not old and rich, please stop this nonsense, none is forcing you to invest. |

I prefer USD Coin (USDC) than Tether because of its governance. IMO Coinbase is more trustable than Bitfinex since it compliance with US regulations. You can exchange 1 USDC to 1 USD in Coinbase.

I don't think Bitcoin is a deflation based currency because you need negative inflation to be called deflation. Bitcoin is a non-debased currency with ~21 million supply. I think it would work since it promotes price stability and economic certainty, similar to the gold-standard era.

I think people like stories, in Buffett's case, he was able to find undervalued stocks and turn it into diamonds. His method requires much analysis, including financial statements, which is not applicable for analyzing cryptocurrency projects.

Cuma memang "instrumen keuangan" ini apabila ditinjau dari ilmu pengetahuan "mainstream" masih abu-abu validitasnya. Umur Bitcoin sendiri masih bayi dibandingkan dengan saham, obligasi, futures, dll. Perlakuannya agak berbeda dengan topik agan @ariyaromadhona96 yang lebih membahas perilaku "investor" Bitcoin, yang IMO bisa dikatakan merupakan penelitian pendahuluan. Yang dibahas lebih ke manusia/pelakunya. Cuma ya nanti (proses) pengambilan keputusan mereka berbeda dengan investor konvensional (tebakan ane sih)... benar atau salah agan @ariyaromadhona96 ? my mobile wallet
The majority of mobile wallets should be an HD wallet. Maybe you have more than 1 address in your wallet so it shows the sum of all your addresses.
I think this is the reason. Since you have HD wallet, it will scan the derived addresses, not just the address currently in use. In Electrum (desktop) the addresses with "balance" can be easily checked, I am afraid this feature not available in all wallets. You might have to trace manually using "see previous address" or similar. |
